剛來到灣仔上班,人生路不熟,幸好今天同事帶我去試下一間1985年已開業的印度菜! 位置其實十分方便,灣仔站行大約5-6分鐘左右就到,原來都開了5年。裝潢充滿印度風情,掛了印度畫、播印度音樂,悠閒舒服。食客除了香港人,仲有印度人日本人及韓國人等,店員有禮熱情。餐廳主推的是BUFFET LUNCH,成人$158一位,小朋友 $108,可以吃到自助區的超過20款美食,由started,飯、curry、生果、甜品都有。Butter Chicken印度牛油雞係我至愛的印度菜,嫩嫩的雞肉加上不辣咖哩汁,配烤餅或印度黃飯食簡直一流。Bombay Onion Bhaji 起初望以為係炸軟殼蟹!原來係炸洋蔥秋葵絲,炸得好香脆好好食。Hot Gulab Jamun玫瑰露炸奶球係印度必食甜點,奶球浸在糖醬內,口感軟綿綿,甜度爆標。Saag Paneer這道燴菠菜芝士適合我這些不太嗜辣又想食印度菜的人士,菠菜攪成醬加以調味,再加上粒粒芝士煮成半融化,不油不膩。Amritsari Macchi印度版炸魚,外皮金黃酥脆,魚肉內裡鮮嫩多汁,散發出濃郁的香料氣息。每一口都充滿了獨特的印度風味,搭配微微的辣味以及香菜和檸檬的清新感,令人回味無窮。無論是搭配米飯還是餅,都能完美融合,帶來絕佳的味覺享受。 continue reading

我們好喜歡去旅行,  自從印度喀什米爾 Kashmir 之旅後.   開始欣賞印度手工藝, 也愛上了印度食品.  今日放假想起印度菜,  在 Jo Jo Indian Cuisine 訂了檯,    餐廳位於灣仔近地鐵站, 由電梯直上一樓. Jo Jo Indian Cuisine   由 1985 年開業, 廚藝不錯, 客人眾多.今晚七點到達餐廳,   從玻璃窗仍可看見外邊陽光,有不少華籍及外籍客入, 好熱鬧.    裝修富印度傳統風味, 播著印度音樂, 擺設神秘又美麗.大電視有歌舞 Video,  增加民族色彩. 座位整齊, 玻璃窗邊有梳化卡座,  設計舒適,  閒情看看馬路車來車往, 好寫意.有大型酒吧, 酒品也不少.  先點了飲品  Mocktail,  我愛  Fruit Float.   什果味,  有 Mango, orange, pineapple, coconut cream grenadine syrup, 調得好濃郁,   好飲 !  朋友叫了 Darjeeling  Gingerale,  內容係 Ginger ale,  syrup,  cherries   冰涼,  超級好味. 大家齊碰杯 !!前菜送上脆薄片, 伴上兩個醬汁, 綠色薄荷醬 及 紅色甜辣醬,我們點了餐, 先送上 Indian Tapas.  餐前小食:  Crispy Malabar prawn 南印度脆炸蝦(五香度蘭豆風味)配有洋蔥, 椰子味, 芥末. 一碟三隻巨型大蝦,  每隻蝦有竹簽穿著. 賣相不錯. 炸皮香脆, 蝦肉爽口,  肉質新鮮味鮮甜,  係一個可口前菜.Main course. 主菜  Tandoori chicken 土窯灶燒春雞 (半隻)用鐵板上臺,  保持熱度.  半隻燒春雞份量足,   伴有洋蔥, 椰菜, 紅蘿蔔絲墊底, 經  Tandoori  大窯爐炭燒的燒春雞 , 外表焦香.雞肉少骨,  內裡嫩香,  雞肉非常嫩滑,  加少許檸檬汁,  入口香滑,   辣味並不太強烈, 真滋味.  吃完雞, 再吃洋蔥, 椰菜, 紅蘿蔔絲, 有點像日式炒野菜, 好爽口. 每次食印度餐,  必定食印度咖喱菜 + 烤餅 Naan,今次選擇了 Rogan Josh 喀什米爾咖喱羊肉,    Rogan Josh 系北印度咖喱, 香料是薑, 蔥, 月桂組合, 味道偏濃.  Bread accompaniments  印度烤餅 Naan, 我們叫了 蒜蓉 Naan , 共四塊,   這是吃咖喱食品時, 不可缺少的配套.  慢煮羊肉煮得稔, 羊肉味道好香濃, 沒有羊騷味, 咖喱香料調味剛好, 味道香而不太辣香, 配烤餅吃最完美.烤餅 Naan  入口煙韌,  沾些咖喱一齊吃, 配搭極好.Chef’s collection  餐後精美甜品 有三個介紹,  我們選了自家製秘制雪糕(開心果芒果)份量大, 味道比較濃,  兩個人 share,  剛剛好. 印度菜, 食物多款式,  可辣可不辣.   有特式又美味.  continue reading

今日留港消費,到左灣仔駱克道食呢間印度lunch buffet, 之前早一晚book左位brunch buffet逢星期六日供應,$180再加一,供應時間由12:00-14:30前菜有幾款小食,有panni purri, dosa, 印度雞肉法包,酸乳酪等沙律菜有青瓜,蕃茄仔,紫洋葱,紅蘿白片,加埋幾款四款sauce等主菜有烤雞,炸魚,炸雜菜餅,味道都唔錯,咖喱熱盤有牛油雞,羊腿肉,雜豆,雜菜,甜品則有水果,甜湯丸,奶酪埋單唔使$200都可以接受 continue reading
