呢間印度餐廳喺香港1985年開業🇮🇳,到而家已經喺灣仔有多年歷史,一直深受印度人喜愛👳🏾‍♀️,我從印度朋友口中得知呢間相當正宗,亦都曾被米芝蓮推介👨‍🍳,所以我特意慕名而來體驗一下印度人嘅食糧。今次Lunch過嚟食buffet,呢個buffet百幾蚊有找相當抵食🤩。 首先我哋食佢哋嘅沙律🥗,Plain Papad即係印度脆餅,脆卜卜咁可以加埋印度嘅沙律醬嚟食,至於佢哋嘅沙律配菜🥕,竟然用上生紅蘿蔔同生洋蔥🧅,令我感受到原始嘅蔬菜滋味。 我最鍾意係食佢哋印度嘅漢堡包🍔,上面嘅香料醬相對比較適合香港人嘅口味,少少甜之中又帶微辣🌶。 Buffet嘅主菜我覺得綠色嘅餅唔錯,叫Hara Bhara Kebab,至於佢哋嘅Navratan Pulao,即係印度嘅炒飯🍚,味道都係香港人接受到。肉塊方面就要大家留意,有雞有羊🍗,有啲入口OK,有啲比較重口味,未必香港人接受到。仲有好多嘅唔同香料俾你揀,絕對令你眼界大開😲。 甜品方面,佢哋有Rasmalai🍪,我會建議大家唔好成舊嚟食,或者咬少少嚟試吓,因為佢嘅甜度係十級,香港人可能食唔慣。另一個甜品成個波咁,扑落去硬梆梆🏓,但係咬落去其實係粉狀。 餐廳其實都幾大,而且座無虛席,相當受歡迎👨‍👩‍👧‍👦。我目測九成五都係印度人,其餘有4%香港人其實係同印度人聚餐,令我彷彿唔記得自己身處喺香港🌍。整體來講呢個buffet相當重口味,香港人鍾唔鍾意食係其次,但絕對係正宗嘅印度料理體驗之旅✈️。 📍Jo Jo Indian Cuisine - 灣仔得利樓2樓 📮Follow @fm.feed ➡ to discover more appetizing foods continue reading

食得多本地菜,都想試下異國菜的風味, 於是上openrice 搜尋一下有何異國特色菜,見到灣仔駱克道這間Jo Jo Indian Cuisine印度菜館,星期六日中午有buffet任食,所以今日假期過來試下。曲尺型的餐廳,裝修充滿了印度的風格特色,自助buffet 連加一每位$185,及包每人一杯飲品。一入門口已見到有位似印度廚師的師傅坐陣,正在做印度薄餅。見到buffet菜色充滿印度菜的特色,就是差不多每款菜都見不到原色及我們中菜的豉油顏色,而充滿了印度菜調味料的繽紛顏色。餐廳自行送上幾款菜式給我們品嚐,有薄餅、班戟……等, 薄餅剛剛做好熱辣辣,可以用來包裹雞肉、炸蝦、沙律……等,可以品嘗到印度的特別風味。自助放題都有很多款式。有沙律、薄餅、特色的印度街頭小食、咖哩蝦、 烤雞、咖哩羊、咖哩魚、薯仔、甜品水果…等等。、 我喜愛的有Goan Prawn Curry(咖哩蝦), 顏色鮮豔的橙紅,外脆內帶點爽口,特色的印度菜式。Chicken Vindaloo(辛辣烤雞)雞肉是例牌的印度調味料色彩,烤到深紅色的顏色,入口微辣, 也是特色的印度風味。咖哩羊肉炆得比較腍,調味好濃,味道尚算不錯。 平時較少一次過食到這麼多款式的印度菜式,今次 buffet 一次過可以試到,想試異國風味的,buffet是不錯的選擇! continue reading

In this severe period,no dining out for a long, it is not a easy to have an opportunity eaten out with my partner. Stuck in my own flat a long long time, just want to stimulate my taste buds suddenly ....so that ....I point out a Indian cuisine for my first dine out place of this month. A restaurant situated in wan chai which is a place resided many non ethnic Chinese people.  In my mind, there are many orthodox others asian food than other places in Hong Kong. A quiet morning in Hong Kong Island with a smiley clear blue sky, this is a good start of my  weekend under a shadow of covid situation Upon entered "JOJO", i really felt a traditional indian restaurant arise in front of my sight.  A smell, colourful pattern wallpaper, india music,  indian staff and customer all around me.Seems like i have to travel india shortly.Back to the food of this restaurant,  i had never taste indian food like this, traditional and numerous types of food of india, especially a kind of morning buffet.At the beginning, a chef with high crown is preparing some starters for all customers.  main course herein are curry and yogurt based food colourful causing a temptation so much different kind of curry is one of my favorite chicken, fish, shrimp and vegetables,it's tasty and genuinesalad also a balance parts of those foods tandoori chicken is a must in my checklist of indian food i often buy when i was across any indian food shop in Kowloon sideUpon i seat down, a professional server placed some appetizers to me1) pani puri a traditional food from northern india,  fried puffed crisp dough balls with a soul and sweet sauce very crispy and delicious starter2) aloo tikki chaatA common street food from potato with some spices.  It's filling and appetizing with yogurt which is balance the spices and to provide the sweet ans sour taste.  Really special.This is a india pancake with some potato served inside,  accompany a sour yogurt and spices smell good and crispy texture,  this is very very thin with nice cooking technique full of my table and my stomach as well All you can eat with a competitive price 168+1% which make you full and thankful At last, i got some curry shrimp, chicken and fish turmeric long rice also a good choice tender meat ,juicy fish and freshly shrimp Bonus part of the Indian food is "Naan" Bread which is a freshly baked from a kitchen and served in hot 200% match with curry and all of the strong flavor food Very impressive experience in Breakfast time with a Indian food and  the reason is I am in Hong Kong  continue reading

灣仔的 Jo Jo Indian Cuisine 裝修優雅,環境舒適,11月30日前用Openrice訂座,散叫Item仲有8折優惠添!Asahi (Draught) $68/Pint喺酒吧林立嘅灣仔駱克道黎講,$68 有 500ml 生啤簡直係超值!Garlic Naan $28香口美味的 Naan 一直係我至最嘅印度食物,簡單直接,無論齋啪,定係點醬配咖喱食,都一樣咁滋味!Butter Chicken $128香滑美味的醬汁,相當Creamy的醬汁完美覆裹著嫩滑美味的雞肉。對比其他印度餐廳,Jo Jo的Butter Chicken多了一份燒烤過的風味,頗具特色得黎仲別具風味,推介!Lamb Dum Biryani $138羊肉焗印度香飯,熱辣辣出晒煙,明顯是即叫即製!鍋仔細細但份量一啲都唔少,可以分到5-6小碗!長長的印度香飯入口軟熟,內含大量羊肉但一啲都唔羶!仲有特色醬汁去點羊肉,酸酸的令人食慾大增! continue reading

話說呢年食多咗印度菜🇮🇳,發覺自己都幾鍾意食。上網見到灣仔「Jo Jo Indian Cuisine」有自助餐食啵,就試下啦。Openrice可以訂枱,不過單點先有折,自助餐無。一去到我哋都幾Surprised,因為爆哂棚Full House,好彩門口仲有張枱,過多十五分鐘,直頭要等位😳。餐廳真係有好多印度同胞幫襯,即刻感覺正宗,當然亦不乏香港人。週末中午自助餐Weekend Brunch Buffet承惠$168一位,另收加一服務費。我覺得唔算貴,我之前喺其他印度餐廳點一份咖哩都要$9X。呢度係任食之餘,最重要係可以食多幾款口味✌🏻 。放食物嘅位置有一個「L」形嘅餐枱,以及有另一張長枱仲有師傅坐陣,選擇幾豐富👍。不過有時望見啲食物,雖然已經有牌介紹,但我都唔太清楚係乜嚟,直接食咗先講🙈。我出去夾咗兩轉,首先有類似前菜部份嘅Papadum(脆脆薄餅),可以自選幾款醬。另外亦有各款咖哩,我自己最鍾意Goan Prawn Curry(咖哩蝦🍤)。第二碟食咗Goan Subj Dum Briyani(印度炒飯),米粒偏長身,而且好入味🤤。今次拎多啲醬嚟點薄餅!其中一款偏紅色嘅咖哩好辣🌶(圖中左前),就係Chicken Vindaloo,係幾好食,但真係辣,上網查完先知"Vindaloo"係指辛辣。另外有啲食物係由店員送上,甚至係師傅即場整👨🏻‍🍳。Naan(印度烤餅)就係由店員熱辣辣送上,一籃有四件,口感夠煙韌,但略嫌油咗啲。我最鍾意食嘅係Dosa🌯,外面係一層薄薄嘅班戟皮,口感軟糯,薄嘅部份更煎至脆脆的。入裡就包住薯蓉餡,簡直係賣飛佛🥔💕。我總共食咗三條,好好食😋。跟住要介紹係類似漢堡包嘅Keema Pav🍔,麵包用上細餐包以夾住大量餡料,例如洋蔥、青椒同蕃茄碎等。中間夾住嘅肉一絲絲,有啲似手撕肉嘅感覺,問完店員後先確定係羊肉。最後要講嘅係Pani Puri(波波),呢個我有印象之前食過,但好似係甜食嚟🤔。呢度食嘅波波似鹹食多啲,脆粒裝到半滿,留番啲空位倒汁入去,其中有一款好似係芒果汁。神奇地發現個波波好實淨,唔易穿。甜品有水果同另一樣我要特別介紹嘅嘢,佢就係Kesari Rasmalai,我勁鍾意食😍。軟餅圓圓扁扁的,口感好得意,令我聯想到海綿,因為佢超索汁。而個汁係甜甜嘅奶油/煉奶,好好食,似小朋友鍾意食嘅甜味,又可以解辣。自助餐包一人一杯飲品,我哋要咗🥭Mango Lassi(芒果奶昔)同🍋Lime Soda(青檸梳打),兩杯都大大杯,味道唔錯。總括嚟講,呢餐印度自助餐係一個非常好嘅體驗,我未必每樣嘢都啱食,甚至唔係好清楚佢係乜。不過正正因為係自助餐,我能夠一次過試多啲印度嘅菜式,平日單點我多數都只係食咖喱或者薄餅等,唔會嗌小食。今次真係大開眼界,亦都大飽口福😆。 continue reading
