最後一道主菜係豬鞍,炸魚衣甘藍,烤蜜糖薯仔,同埋其他雜菇配菜,味道好好,好有特色🥰

最後當然唔少得甜品,寫到靚靚嘅happy Valentine’s Day,同埋柚子牛奶布甸同Tiramisu做一個完美嘅ending❤️

有名的Lamb Wellington跟USDA Prime Tenderloin也是很好吃🥹終於吃到好吃又真材實料的Lamb Wellington🥹酥皮很鬆脆 羊肉也不會有羊羶味 就算不吃羊的人應該都可以接受~牛肉肉質也很好👍🏻配菜的🥔很有驚喜!!!出乎意料的好吃😳蜜糖牛油口味的🥔🤤配上羽衣甘藍跟烤蒜吃肉簡直完美🥰
Roasted Chicken也很有驚喜!!雖然看起來很豉油雞😆但吃起來很好吃!!加了黑醋跟黑糖(?)去煮的🐓吃起來是偏甜那邊比較多😋熟度剛剛好!!(這個大廚有在嚴格控制!!大家訂了的話記得準時去吃!!)雞肉超嫩 連我平常不太愛吃的雞皮也很有驚喜 QQ彈彈的很好吃😋
最後的甜品也很有誠意🥰不太愛吃甜點+有點咳嗽的我也忍不住要吃啊😝
一個是用了蜜柑 鳳梨 熱情果(還有甚麼嗎?我忘了🤣)配上椰子奶凍 酸酸的可以解膩 整體吃起來都不會太甜😋另一個是Tiramisu🥰吃起來也沒有很甜 而且很綿滑很好吃🥰而且甜品都可以加字句~很適合慶祝生日或者紀念日來吃🥰

總體而言 我是十分十分推薦這家餐廳
私房菜、預約制的安排有種私人俱樂部的感覺
雖然餐廳小小的 走的也是fine dine路線
但和主廚、員工的距離感覺很近、很融洽
會主動和客人傾談 也會記住客人的喜好、需求
同時也會盡量維持食物的質素和原則
這就是私房菜的優點吧

食物價格當然是豐儉由人
但以這個價位對換質素和份量
絕對是無可挑剔了

鋪頭環境非常有情調,背景播住Jazz music,全場得四枱亦只有店主一個人上菜,每次上菜佢都會慢慢逐枱逐個菜介紹,非常之用心最開始有一個自己焗嘅麵包,配黑醋橄欖油同Parma ham,個麵包超鬆軟🍞麵包之後有個沙律開開胃,唔同地方嘅蕃茄仔有啲比較甜有啲比較清新🥗開左胃之後就有蘑菇湯,佢用左好多蘑菇打出黎超濃超香菇味,不過可能驚太多菇會有好草青味,所以都落左好多胡椒,有小小搶左啲菇味🍄再黎就係第一個主菜海鮮他他,佢用左四隻西班牙紅蝦同四隻北海道帶子,紅蝦同埋帶子都非常之鮮甜,再吱晒所有蝦膏入去,成隻蝦嘅精華都可以食得到🦐然後就係第二同第三個主菜,有威靈頓羊同熟成和牛,威靈頓羊最外層嘅酥皮好酥脆,入面包住火腿、菇粒,然後就係羊肉!羊係用紐西蘭羊(唔知有冇記錯),唔係食羊羶味而係食佢嘅甜味,呢個菜非常之出色,食完都完全唔會覺得膩至於個牛係dry aged左66日嘅美國SRF和牛,牛油味濃肉味亦都好重🐂伴碟有羽衣甘藍同埋烤左四個鐘嘅蒜頭,仲有搽左蜜糖去焗嘅薯仔,唔單只主菜好食,連配菜都好用心去整最後係甜品,件蛋糕係改良左嘅巴斯克芝士蛋糕,冇平時嗰啲咁甜但好香芝士味,加埋用咗超過400粒藍莓打

On the day of booking, we arrived (slightly late - always expect traffic jams in Yuen Long on non-working days) and was brought to our table. The restaurant is run by only two people - a very nice hostess and a chef in the kitchen. You'll be able to serve yourself to their selection of boutique and craft beers & ciders - just take the drinks you want from the fridge and they'll put it on your bill after the meal. Do not expect this to be a fast food restaurant - you're supposed to take your time and enjoy the whole meal experience. 10 minutes in, and we were served a piping hot bread roll baked inhouse with ham & olive oil + vinegar. The bread had a crispy cheese topping, and was very soft with a bit of springiness when you bite into it. One to the next course, was the house salad. Tomatoes were in season so we were served a salad with 4 kinds of tomatoes. The salad was very fresh & tomatoes deliciously sweet. Next served was mushroom soup, where the chef used 3 kinds of mushrooms, cooked in their juices and blended, without adding additional water. The soup was simple, but the flavours of the mushrooms were very well highlighted.

On to the next highlight, which was one of the dishes we ordered - the scallops and carabineros carpacio with a large scampi on top. Scampi was fresh and sweet, and the tomalley was exceptional. The scallops and carabineros were diced and mixed with the tomalley of the carabineros - basically an explosion of ocean flavours in your mouth! A must try for all of you who love seafood.

Then comes the centre piece of the meal. The lamb wellington that we have been awaiting for. A good wellington have the following criteria: a crispy flaky pastry, a nice meat temperature, and an interboundary layer which holds the pastry and meat together without separation. Jaselab's wellingtons check all three boxes. The lamb was done perfectly. The wellington was served on a garden-like bed of vegetables, and looked really appetising. Different culinary techniques were applied to different vegetables - sauteeing, deep frying, baking - but they all came out very delicious. Kudos to the chef!

Lastly, two deserts were brought forward to us. One was a coconut panna cotta with a citrusy-pineapple sauce on top. Flavours of the citrusy-pineapple sauce came through very nicely and complemented the sweet and rich coconut panna cotta very well. Another was a baked cheesecake with blueberry sauce. This although sounding very simple and plain, was nothing but. The cheesecake was very light and fluffy (although it looked like a dense New York style cheesecake), and the blueberry sauce was amazing. Would definitely want to try the cheesecake once again.

威靈頓牛做得很紮實,並沒有一切便散開,牛肉鮮嫩多汁。
烤羊架嫩滑而沒有臊臭味,不過我本人比較喜歡煮熟一點,因為我最喜歡的部份就是邊邊烤得比較熟的位置。。。可能應該是廚師的堅持,所以不做我要求的七成熟。。。個人認為肉質鮮美,廚師優秀的話,並不存在只有生肉才是可口。。。
不過整體是精彩的!
要提一提配菜的羽衣甘蘭是炸過的,很香脆而沒有了草青味,讚!

然後就係全日嘅重點,威靈頓牛柳啦🤩。一上枱已經覺得擺盤好靚。個牛柳有四層:酥皮,parma ham ,菇粒同埋牛柳。其實一切開個牛柳果四層係必然會散開,自己夾返埋一齊食,係好有口感,個酥皮好香唔油,而個牛肉質好鮮嫩又唔膩,真係食到停唔到口🤓。而啲配菜都唔可以睇少,個薯仔有好重牛油味,仲焗到個外皮好脆,真係第一次食到咁好食嘅薯仔🥰。仲有啲碎菇粒同埋兩條甜蘿蔔都唔錯,係個蒜頭嘅蒜味真係有啲重,唔係好啱我食😝。

然後就係龍蝦汁煎南極魚,個魚皮有少少厚到,煎到好香脆,魚肉都嫩滑,不過個魚就有少少唔熟,不過我相信係意外黎🤣。個龍蝦汁好香濃又唔太鹹,可以當湯飲埋🤤,好滿足。

訂位嘅時候都有問甜品洗唔洗寫字,所以餐廳都知依一餐係慶祝生日嘅。佢哋都好貼心咁準備埋蠟燭同主動幫我哋影相。而甜品就係咖啡朱古力蛋糕,個蛋糕係專登雪耐啲等佢硬身一啲去營造雪糕蛋糕嘅口感,蛋糕面係用咗70%濃度嘅朱古力醬,唔會太甜又唔會太膩,真係好有驚喜。🥰

訂位嘅時候餐廳都會問下我地嘅食量同埋有無食物係唔食,咁我就揀咗正常食量嘅,最後埋單就係每人$1000 唔需要另收加一。而飲品就係到時直接喺雪櫃拎,食完再一次過收錢。最想讚下侍應姐姐,超級好服務態度,都有幫我哋換下碟同清潔乾淨張枱,又好好笑容,每上一道菜都會好清楚咁介紹菜式同食法,令到我哋都食得好滿意。🥰如果問我有咩可以改善嘅話,我會建議佢哋啲碟同碗用曬玻璃會更好。😝 餐廳又兩張高枱,每張可以容納2-3人,仲有個梳化位,都可以坐到6-8人。我地依餐都食咗兩個幾鐘,所以想食就真係要預早book 位啦。

Iberico Pork Rack with cooked pear with berry sauce
出面果層係有陣grill griddle 燒出嚟嘅味道
切開係好pinkpink同埋好juicy; 一舊肉再加一片pear加啲berry sauce食落去都係好清嘅味道, 佢個pear同sauce 都好好味, 如果可以有多啲, 唔駛就住點就好喇~
然後個pear 底下仲有啲diced mushroom 同個湯嘅味太似所以冇話好吸引

Dry-aged Sirloin 88 Days
第一次食dry-aged 真係會有少少嚇親, 因為同平時食嘅steak 係好唔同 (有啲似臘肉感覺)
平時: 食juicy/油酸味, 會撩走肥膏, 大大舊入口軟綿綿
Dry-aged: 更勁牛味, 睇落好似唔多油但係食落係嘅油香係好好香, 見到有舊油真係可以搶嚟食, 重點係要切得越薄越好食(第一舊切得厚真係眉頭都皺埋; 之後切得薄 3mm厚嘅時候個味真係完全唔同),食嘅時候我先同男朋友講笑話如果有刨凍肉部機就好喇😂
雖然好食, 但係我唔鍾意食牛所以如果要我自己食晒成舊Dry-aged, 真心攪唔掂。但係清清哋嘅juicy pig 同dry-aged 輪流食幾啖我覺得就好好食,所以個人覺得食呢個Dry-aged 都係同人share 開心啲~

兩個main本身有個potota side, 但係因為我講咗唔食薯仔所以就冇呢一part, 我心諗gg會唔會唔飽呢, 結果走嘅時候就好慶倖佢無俾到個薯仔我...

想試好耐, 一個月前就book 定 (除咗可以避免到時無位之外,更重要係黎緊呢30日都可以處於好期待既心情,男朋友應該都聽左我講好多次好期待同就有得食喇😂), book 嘅時候要睇guideline, 要講定有咩唔食同想食咩protein

Location: 易去; 
本住一個好難搵既心態去搵個入口,你會發現係好易搵,佢哋個門口都幾artistic 都ok易認。

Atmosphere: classy; 
dim light 預左手機要有night mode 先影得好睇; 安排左張high-table ( i like it this actually,可以腳fingfing😂) 

P.S.
1. 七半開門, 我平時六點六點半食晚餐既人係真係要餓住等食, 不過正常放工入嚟嘅人應該係冇太大問題
2. 一個個course咁出食到黎都十半, 如果你住得遠又或者想同靚女甜品小姐/ chef 傾偈(佢哋都要出曬所有枱main dish先得閒出黎傾偈,本人表示無緣...)咁可能揀tgif 會啱啲。
3. 每次上菜都會好仔細咁講解食材同埋應該點食/點切先會更加好食, 將心比己得一個staff takecare 成個樓面我覺得service已經滿分
