於大阪及東京共有12間分店的人氣連鎖店「Jan Jan 串揚專門店」,在2016年正式登陸香港,於灣仔開設首間海外分店。在2018年12月更在尖沙咀開設香港第二分店, 尖沙咀店內裝潢富有濃厚的日系色彩,開放式的廚房,附設榻榻米廂房,打造舒適的屋酒居格調。

何謂串揚?? 什麼是串揚文化??
「串揚」是介乎於串燒與天婦羅之間,像串燒食物上穿上一層薄薄的金黃炸衣,在大板極受歡迎的地道食物。串揚最講究的是油、炸衣、食材,店主採用的油是從日本進口3種混合油,再經店方自家過濾,而且天天更換絕不過夜。每款串揚都穿上薄薄的炸衣,食材必須要新鮮,才能感受食物的鮮味。而串揚食物的炸衣講究是金黃香脆沒有多餘的炸粉才算合格,串揚雖然經過油炸但優質的油加上薄薄的炸衣及新鮮食材,吃起來香口而不油膩,而且唔熱氣,口感味道一流。
想學會正宗的串揚文化?店家溫馨的提提大家,不要同一串沾兩次醬,若嫌醬汁不夠,可利用椰菜加醬汁增添滋味。吃肉類的串揚,適宜蘸醬汁或秘製辣醬,而蔬菜及魚類則適合蘸點鹽或醬汁。

首次跟朋友去,地點有點難找,漆咸道南轉入一條短短有數間酒巴的內街,再入一座類似商住兩用的新式大廈一樓便是。留座了全店唯一一間容納最多10人的大房,要脫鞋坐進去的大枱子。沒最低消費,一夥人能自成一角歡聚。個人較喜歡 串燒牛,肥瘦相間有嚼口;天使蝦,蝦頭已去掉,炸到脆得連蝦腳也能同吃;香脆雞翼,炸得連雞皮也好像炸薯皮那樣有點半吃正餐半吃零食的感覺;順帶一提,廁所🚽沒門鎖,很新很乾淨,全電子,用遙控器開關。 continue reading
