大年初一仍要工作至晚上，於是提前相約親友，放工後去蘭桂坊舒發心境，順道慶祝農曆新年。四人到達蘭桂坊已將近零時，亦即大年初二的開始，這帶的農曆新年氣氛，遠不及聖誕和萬勝節，畢竟來這裡的，始終外國人居多。挑選了一間網評不錯的 Insomnia……踏進門口有張大Bar枱，Bartenders 正忙於為客人調酒，繞過Bar枱，是另一個入口，一名身材魁梧的黑人正在看守著……先過第一關 ~【Buy a drink first before you enter】四人於是點了四杯飲品 : Around the world, Ocean, Tiger and Heineken，前兩者為cocktail，後兩者為beer，最貴的一杯Around the world, 才$125元，不算太貴，至於酒味如何不用多介紹吧！四人拿著杯中酒……進入第二關 ~【Hand Mark】未正式進場時，看守入口的黑人都會為每人的手背上打上一個印，由於當時環境黑暗，未能看清手上的印是什麼東東……進入場內，非常熱鬧，只見眾多人客在Live Band音樂下翩翩起舞，我們找個位置放下飲品，欣賞現場六人樂隊表演之餘，亦加入戰圈，在池中舞動身體。熱身過後，點了兩款小食，Onion Rings 和 Fish and Chips，不過兩款小食個人感覺太油膩，食至一半已宣佈投降……眾人至零晨五時才離開，渡過一個難忘、開心、盡興的晚上。回家途中，看看手背蓋上的印是什麼，答案是【Priority】！…Read More

My friend S suggested to have a lunch here as we were both bored with the restaurants in Admiralty. We arrived at around 12:30.  Originally, I thought there would be a long queue but fortunately there were not even a queue outside the shop.The shop was nicely-decored as a cozy place for lunch.  It was also a lougue bar at night too but I love the environment here when the nights were on.Burger Set was impressive.  The portion was much bigger than I could imagine.  The burger was bigger and longer than my palm and it could hardly be put in my mouth.  The beef looked like it was a bit over-cooked but it was juicy.  The fries and the salads were great too.All Day Breakfast was really nice.  The portion was, again, much bigger than I thought -- It could really make me full for a whole day.  The fries were great and the eggs were great too as the yolks were not done at all -- they were great companians with the bread.  In total, I will definitely come here again for the over-sized lunch sets.…Read More

Don't know why this bar is always quiet compared with others bar along.  But that would be easier for you to chat with friends.  And I do love the decoration of it.  Like drinking in a cave.  Surrounded by stones.Arrived there around 7:30pm only two tables were occupied inside.  Might be too early.  We picked the one near big windows.   So could enjoy the atmosphere in the outdoor area as well though not many people there.  Waitresses didn't too eager to serve you as usual.  When we ordered the "All Day Breakfast", she gave us a "wow' response.  I asked her why that response.  She said it's late.  I didn't see any time restriction in ordering "All Day Breakfast" on menu.  And it was not the first time I ordered it at night.  What's wrong?  She just made me feel unwelcome. We ordered cocktails and mojito.  There were lot of flavors for mojito.  And as was during happy hours, it was cheap around $50 per drink.  Lovely live band starts after 10pm!  If you are looking for cheap places for drink and eat, don't mind about services, it is definitely a cool choice in LKF.…Read More

在中環工作已有一段時間，早前朋友介紹原來蘭桂坊的酒吧在下午時段會提供午餐，大鄉里得知此情報後，也來湊湊熱鬧。 Insomnia店內位置十分寬敞，而且中午客量並不多，食客基本上都不用等位。 本來想試試burger，奈何肚子不爭吃，只能吃比較清淡的沙律。 單點的凱撒沙律可加錢另配煙三文魚、煙肉和芝士。 午餐不附送飲品，店員貼心地送上一大杯暖水，值得加分。沙律的份量頗多，加20元的煙三文魚亦不欺場，滿滿的分佈在沙律菜上。 煙肉炸得香脆，獨立吃或會鹹了一點，伴著沙律菜吃就剛剛好。 麵包粒也是烘得脆卜卜的，十分香口。 本以為沙律是輕食，結果也是肚子脹脹的離去，漢堡包就留待下次再試。…Read More

晚上是BAR的Insomnia, 中午食品的選擇多得令人吃驚。有all day breakfast, salad, burger sandwiches, pasta, steak 都有。而且都是散叫，不是set lunch, 所以彈性很大啊!今次兩個人去吃，order 了兩碗湯，一份牛油果沙律，一份burger, 結果是完全吃不光的! 不是東西不好吃，而是份量都好大，失了預算。 (人均$100左右) 蘑菇湯很足料，啖啖都吃到蘑菇蓉；雜菜湯雖然偏酸，但裡面有超級多菜呀豆呀，感覺很健康呢。這兩碗湯估計都有500-600ml, 質地厚重，還配上兩塊蒜蓉麵包! 對食量較小的女孩子來說其實都應該夠飽了。所以很強烈建議大家兩人share 一碗呢!牛油果沙律也是，四人分吃應該就差不多。牛油果非常甜，菜也新鮮，配上酸酸的醋其實很是開胃! 下次還想試試看上去更清爽的芒果大蝦沙律。至於burger, 非常抵吃，$70 (本來沒有芝士，所以那$10 怎麼也得加上去!) , burger 比我的臉還要大，牛肉漢堡厚厚的至少也有3cm丫! 配以薯條和沙律，怎看都不像是一個人可以輕鬆KO的嘛… 而且味道很不錯噢，很值得試試!要留意Insomnia 裡都是high table (bar 的格局), 四人或以下的組合會比較合適呢。因為場地大中午不必訂位都沒有問題，是中環人即興約午膳的首選！…Read More

十月二十六日 (星期五)開心星期五，馬小姐相約架架仔來個午聚，也定好在這裡，談一些秘密之前未曾吃過，眼看覺得與蘇豪區的西餐廳分別不大座位間隔也特別的寬敞，十分適合三五知己，談天說地看看餐牌，嚇一跳不是很貴，而是價格十分相宜沙律,漢堡也只是六七十元，不過，未知會否將價就貨呢?大大盆的雞肉沙律先來，已解釋了一切偷吃了一口雞肉，質感鮮嫩，味帶點沙律醬的酸，十分清新怡人加上爽嫩的雜菜和鮮甜的芒果馬小姐原想吃沙律作減肥的，可惜事與願違，最後更不能吃光，可惜!老實說，這裡的款式不多例如漢堡，就只有這簡單的一款一點也不失禮，大大份的漢堡，加上大量的鮮炸薯條作伴先吃薯條，入口還是熱烘烘的，味甜而惹味，質感香脆加十元配了兩片芝士的決定沒有錯，味香而幼滑，半融的狀態更是可口咬一口，極富牛肉香，入口煙韌鬆軟，漢堡打得不錯~麵包也很鬆軟，加上芝士，更炒結賬每人不用七十元，真是可用超值來形容!馬小姐熱情請客，架架仔也不推卻，下次到我!…Read More

筆者連續OT了四日, happy friday 怎樣也要去hh 透透氣吧! 平常經過insomnia, 也未曾入內光顧, 大概是因為其live band太嘈吵吧. 但是日到處也full house, 剛好這裡有位, 也盡管試試吧.晚上七時三十分, live band 並未開始, 反而播著輕鬆的音樂, 不太嘈吵, 很適合chit chat, 其座位設計很特別, 卻令人熟悉, 原來與all night long 是同一集團, 怪不得. hh 直至晚上九時, 指定飲品有六折, 又不用加一, 選擇頗多, 是次點選了strongbow cider (HK$42.5), 友人則要house white wine (HK$42.5). 由於坐在bar 枱關係, 沒有像其他食客所說要等候良久的情況, 不消五分鐘侍應便送上飲品, 及後更有薯片提供, 很好.試一口strongbow cider, 是來自英國的 apple cider, 夠冰凍, 啤酒味okay, 甜味也適中, 很易入口, 味道是計在ozone 飲過後最好的apple cider, 很滿意. 友人也說其white wine 很不錯, 很易入口. 又多一個hh 的好選擇.…Read More

喺中環食Lunch如果唔想餐餐過百，唔洗同人迫，而食得又唔急趕嘅話真實選擇真係唔多，所以寫喱篇或之後幾篇食評都想推介一下小妹嘅心水之選。位於蘭桂芳斜路嘅喱間餐廳其實係小妹男友Happy Hour嘅聚腳點，之後佢發現左晌果道食個Burger Lunch都只係七十幾蚊，實屬大件夾抵食，坐得又唔迫！當日一點鐘左右去到都差唔多full哂啦，小妹同男友就唯有喺窄窄嘅Bar檯坐住先啦，等有人走再轉去一張大少少嘅圓檯。食物等左約10分鐘左右，賣相都唔錯㗎，有一種份量搭夠嘅感覺。男友點左佢最愛嘅Beef Burger，肉質成吋厚但唔會食落乾爭爭；小妹就order左Club Sandwich，有成4件咁多，味道唔錯，不過對我嚟講就有D多啦。。。配搭嘅薯條熱度脆度尚可，薯條怪男友食過不停；至於旁邊嘅沙律如果可以落D dressing咁就Perfect啦！正值Lunch Time但成間餐廳都好似得（貌似）老闆娘同一個Waitress一腳踢，雖然我地冇覺得被待慢，但都不得不佩服老闆用人efficient之道！…Read More
