Introduction
Hunan Garden was the first brand serving authentic Hunan cuisine in Hong Kong featuring traditional and unique Hunan dishes. 來到第三部曲,是讚的。位於中環 The Forum 的洞庭樓,雖然不是米芝蓮星級 (只是推薦餐廳之一),食物水準卻一貫穩定,環境優雅,是我們一眾中環青年才俊商務午餐的不二之選。前菜 - 豆干青瓜麵醬 / 醃青紅辣椒。前者不辣,後者辣得帶勁,適隨尊便,同樣開胃。薰素鵝 - 讚!非常香的煙燻味,燻煙滲入每一層腐皮裡面,仍不失濕潤的感覺。建議佐以鎮江錯同吃,食味會更有所提升。豆酥魚 - 這裡的招牌菜,個人覺得最值得推介,每次來到必點!方方正正雪白嫩滑的鱸魚,淋上咸香豆酥醬,伴以爽脆嫩綠的邊豆,三者起的化學作用真的十分震撼!重點是 size 剛剛好,點到即止,不會太大件太膩口。咕嚕肉 - 這個是日第一次點,估不到也可做到皮脆肉嫩,不俗。蒸素餃 - 一向喜歡素菜餃,素菜包等點心;只要料頭充足及新鮮熱辣出爐,必定不會難吃。葱油伴麵 - 最後上的拉麵,是中國北京式拉麵,口感煙糯,是濃油赤醬的最佳配搭。蜜瓜西米露 / 豆腐花 - 特別欣賞有豐富蜜瓜蓉的西米露,甜而不膩。整體評分:食物質素中上,價錢合理,服務彬彬有禮,並會在適當時候換碟,抵讚。值得推薦! continue reading

上星期日晚上到中環洞庭樓吃晚飯。因為上個月在銅鑼灣分店與一班朋友食過,感覺良好,於是再到中環店食。第一次來洞庭樓是十多年前的事了。記得當年週末顧客一向不多,有很多外藉顧客,有人彈樂器。上星期日晚則有很多顧客,有很多內地顧客,外藉顧客則近乎絕跡。仍然有人彈樂器,我就認為內地顧客未必欣賞這些表演。由於只有兩個人,時間也不早,只點了兩份豆酥鮮魚,上湯莧菜,及半隻風沙雞。莧菜先上,味道可以。食完成碟菜,其他餸都未到。以前豆酥鮮魚是一碟上的,現在則是$45 一份,豆酥味道仍可,但魚味欠奉,似雪藏魚多D。風沙雞則冰鮮雞也不如,似雪藏雞多D,又乾又無雞味,以為隻雞炸過,用D風沙鋪上面,D雞就好食,差矣。我太太食了一塊雞就沒有再食了。總括來說,食物質素大不如前,我太太說不會再來了。 continue reading

訂了大廳的位子,中午,還行,不是很吵鬧,環境還比較好缺點:上菜速度,超級慢,中間催了5-6次,我們8個人,基本每上來一盤,都吃光光了,第二盤還沒上來。。。。。烤鴨還行,就是片鴨子的技術,實在是不太好,鴨肉片的很厚,醬也偏甜,不過在HK 能有烤鴨吃已經很不錯了,總體還行吧酥魚,說實話,很好吃,但是吃兩口就覺得很油膩, 有飽足感,不宜多飼性價比比較高,我們點了酥魚、毛家肉、烤鴨、海鮮鍋巴、兩個素菜、2個涼菜、。。。。剩下的忘記了 continue reading

今天同老公到中環買野, 順便提早慶祝情人節, 為了冇咁多人, 於是選擇中餐. 之前都有同客來這裹食lunch, 但晚餐是第一次....一入去, 十分舒服, 因只有3枱左右, 沒有了一般酒樓的喧嘩, 雖然裝飾比較舊式, 沒有銅鑼灣分店的法國氣派, 但我寧願好像這裡安靜地吃一頓飯.2人點了以下菜色:前菜 -- 青瓜豆腐及紅番椒, 一坐底就有, 當然要計錢, 但青瓜豆腐好好味, 抵俾 / 紅番椒 - 本人不吃辣, 所以no comment薰素鵝 ($68) -- 十分出色, 好香煙燻味, 個人覺得最值得推介火腿奶油津白 ($78) -- 好有火腿咸香.. ok la蔥爆牛肉 ($78) -- d牛肉好"林", 老公話吃得出用梳打粉處理過, 要扣分, 不過都有d牛肉味, 但我想不是洞庭樓的主打, 下次唔會再叫 (本來想叫紅燒肉or醬茶鴨, 但2人驚食唔晒) 豆酥魚 ($45/件) - 每次必吃, 亦是洞庭樓出名之作....分量好似細左, 伴菜亦由蘆筍改為豆 (我應該冇記錯), 但品質一樣好好, 魚夠滑, 豆酥的花生同麻醬好正, 不過吃完一件已好滯菜香火腿炒飯($68) -- 其實真的有點眼闊肚窄, 我們已經好飽, 所以覺得炒飯ok啦, 冇特別, 我們應該order一碗noodle可能會好d服務好好, 會在適當時換碟, 又有禮貌, 可能是冇太多客的原因.... continue reading

Don't want to talk about the interior because it's absolutely ugly, tasteless and tacky.But the 豆酥魚 is definitely one yummy dish! Soft and cooked to perfection with a sort of black bean paste sauce on top.I really think they have to do something with the decor because I cannot think of anyone whom I might want to bring to this restaurant.Guess we'll just have to go to the one in Causeway Bay instead...Maxim, do a facelift please. continue reading
