今次來這裏不是吃它的風沙雞, 也不是吃它的海鮮, 而是簡單吃它的午飯, 在跑馬地工作完後, 要選擇一家五六十元定價的, 並不容易, 除了那家要排很久隊但不不太好吃, 只是靠着其裝橫及歷史的茶餐廳外, 市政大廈是唯一選擇. 銖記的小菜午餐一飯一菜及一餐飲, 五十五元就算是港島區也算是經濟. 最重要是, 小菜也是即叫即炒, 夠鑊氣.咕嚕肉炸得外脆內稔, 啖啖肉而沒有油膉味, 汁料在梅頭肉上上得甚為均勻, 紅醋醬汁甜而不微酸, 在這炎熱的四月天相當開胃, 如此的價錢沒有什麼可以投訴. 椒鹽豬扒的椒鹽味濃重但不死咸, 用以送飯同樣一流, 無論是前者的梅頭還是後者的豬扒, 肉質同樣嫩滑, 只是後者有點失色的地方, 就是表面有點過濕, 有點軟融而不夠脆呢! 還是咕嚕肉略勝一籌.

喺跑馬地街市,已經出咗名好耐,但係仍然有少少呢埋嘅銖記,一向水準唔錯仍然係我哋家中常會返食嘅一間餐廳。例湯或其他堂平時都非常有火氣。除咗牛腩食過兩次都係一般之外,其他在餐牌中見到嘅大多數都係好菜。尤其是係佢馳名嘅羊腩煲,或者炸子雞兩樣都係小朋友同大人喜歡既一碟菜。講到服務就不嬲非常周到,對老人家有貼心,對小朋友有愛心。Highly recommend, especially if you are in the area.

真心唔明廚房師傅為什麼會咁頑固用這樣的炮製方法、真係多花5 分鐘左右時間落油鑊由生炒熟會咁辛苦?用水煮完落鑊加油兜亂變成一”pak” 嘢。。。請問傳說中的大排檔鑊氣去咗邊樹?!

原本打算去九龍城食晚飯,駕車經由皇后大道東時,係伊館個位塞左成十分鐘,郁都冇郁過,見勢色唔對路就改變行程轉右入跑馬地方向。好好彩有個錶位可以泊低,即時諗到已多年冇去過銖記,肚已經好餓唔想再諗,一於直奔銖記。晚上七點幾,不用等位,坐底即點餸︰乳鴿兩隻、沙嗲肥牛粉絲煲、油泡鮮魷,兩支忌廉,一碗白飯。星期六既晚上,只得銖記營業,所以黎得呢道都係幫襯銖記,目測有七、八成出坐率。乳鴿先到,個皮係脆既,但肉質好韌,一啲都唔"乳",食到牙都軟,我食兩件,食到另外兩碟餸黎埋都未呦完,要先放底,襯熱食其他野先,再慢慢繼續同呢件老乳鴿博鬥過...。油泡鮮魷︰無。鑊。氣 !!! 鮮魷非常、十分、超級、極度好韌,完全係一嚿膠咁樣,呦唔開、"銀"胃呀,沙嗲肥牛粉絲煲︰個沙嗲味OK既,但淡口、粉絲好腍,無口感,重點係個肥牛,韌不特止,應該係同個沙嗲粉絲分開煮,先焯熟左,再撈返落個沙嗲粉絲煲到,兩樣野個味道完全係分離左,肥牛無沙嗲味,沙嗲粉絲無肥牛味,肥牛好韌、多筋。三個餸都係硬食落下,我明白部分人黎一定會點佢地既招牌菜(雞燉翅、風沙雞等等),但其他小菜都要用心做得好先得喎,都有好多人想食下啲普通鑊氣小菜,如果連呢

日期:9月26日人數:2人呢個禮拜要去黃泥涌體育館打羽毛球,所以喺運動之前,就同一個波友同事去咗樓下嘅熟食中心食晚飯。呢個地方係我同事介紹嘅,佢好耐之前來食過,話風沙雞好食,叫我來試下。因為得兩個人,加上係打波之前,所以唔能夠食太多。我哋只係點左半隻風沙雞,同埋啫啫唐生菜煲 (因為我地想要個蔬菜,而我同事鍾意食呢個)。個風沙雞又真係幾好食。雖然雞味唔濃,但雞皮整得好脆好邪惡。雞髀肉好嫩滑,雞胸肉有啲過熟,但都算可以接受。唐生菜煲分量唔大,但炒出來好熱,味道唔錯。啫啫醬料好香,唐生菜亦都好脆口,好送得飯。雖然係熟食中心內,但因為係平日晚飯時間,人唔多,一啲都唔嘈雜。衛生環境亦算唔錯,企企理理。餐廳服務質素亦都唔錯,態度幾好。附近都有電車站同巴士站,所以交通都唔算太差。

個風沙雞又真係幾好食。雖然雞味唔濃,但雞皮整得好脆好邪惡。雞髀肉好嫩滑,雞胸肉有啲過熟,但都算可以接受。唐生菜煲分量唔大,但炒出來好熱,味道唔錯。啫啫醬料好香,唐生菜亦都好脆口,好送得飯。


雖然係熟食中心內,但因為係平日晚飯時間,人唔多,一啲都唔嘈雜。衛生環境亦算唔錯,企企理理。餐廳服務質素亦都唔錯,態度幾好。附近都有電車站同巴士站,所以交通都唔算太差。

跑馬地和平民化很多時也沾不上邊, 特別是在樓價方面, 但奇怪地在食方面, 倒是有不少價廉物美的Hidden Gem, 例如是今次介紹, 在熟食中心內的銖記. 銖記以海鮮和魚翅做主打, 雖說很政治不正確, 但二百多元足料的雞燉翅, 整條整齊的群翅以及整隻老雞燉出來的咸鮮味, 比不少貴價的粵菜酒家比較也不會遜色, 有人說味道不夠濃, 要味道濃烈的, 傳統滬式的火瞳翅比較合他們胃口呢!另一個出名菜式是風沙雞, 外皮夠脆, 肉質剛好, 而且骨髓位不會出血水, 對我來說合格有餘, 加上脆蒜令其更惹味, 有人將脆蒜換上芝麻, 除了健康一點, 在脆度和味道方面完不能比下去. 來到大排檔, 點兩支大啤, 開懷大吃, 喝得有點醉, 再喝點雞湯, 這不太健康但就是暢快.

另一個出名菜式是風沙雞, 外皮夠脆, 肉質剛好, 而且骨髓位不會出血水, 對我來說合格有餘, 加上脆蒜令其更惹味, 有人將脆蒜換上芝麻, 除了健康一點, 在脆度和味道方面完不能比下去. 來到大排檔, 點兩支大啤, 開懷大吃, 喝得有點醉, 再喝點雞湯, 這不太健康但就是暢快.

This is one of the most popular hidden gem back in the days, tucked away inside of a government multi-purpose building, many by-passers didn't even know there's such restaurant up there inside Happy Valley. The first time I went was a couple of years ago, back then food was decent, nice and hot dishes and tons of flavor and fun environment. 

However, ever since then for each time I'm back, food quality got more and more below average and portion become smaller each time. The worst thing is they never tend to improve their menu, not even a ted bit. Food are overly salty the last time I visited and I still remember the spicy garlic chicken was very dry and the garlic / chilli flavor couldn't even go into the meat of the chicken. 

One thing I do like is their soup, at least there's not MSG in it and you can tell they did put their heart in making this a home-style dish without too much pretentious move. Which I think simple cooking should be in setting like this.
