各大酒店相繼推出不同的優惠吸客,這𥚃的自助餐則以75折作促銷。由即日起推出之「味遊·城中夜市」自助晚餐,由總廚精心挑選各國最受歡迎的美食,令你享受到最地道的口味;在未能外遊的日子,也可以舌尖緩解旅人寂寞的心!自助晚餐由晚上6時30分至9時星期一至四成人: $518 / 長者: $398 / 小童: $378星期五至日及公眾假期成人: $568/ 長者: $448 / 小童: $398自助餐種類繁多,然胃納有限,所以吃也要吃得有策略;得先巡場一周,看那些是必吃及回本之物,繼而衡量自己的喜好而作出選擇。個人覺得凍海鮮是當中的首選,這裡更有七款之多(大蜆、藍青口、翡翠螺、蟹腳、大蝦、青口及麵包蟹),當中的蟹腳尤其鮮甜、翡翠螺爽彈,而友人就捧著大大隻麵包蟹吃得不亦樂乎。喜歡吃牛的朋友;這𥚃有燒肉眼、紅酒燴牛尾,另有越式牛肉湯河;可選牛肉、牛丸、蘿蔔或蔬菜作自由配搭。其它熱葷有泰味炸皮蛋、什錦天婦羅、墨西哥芝士煙火腿、椒鹽蝦、豬手配酸椰菜、蒸魚(比目魚)、西班牙海鮮飯、雪耳唐排湯、柴魚花生粥及韮菜豬紅。當中幾味熱葷已多次encore;包括酥脆的什錦天婦羅、惹味爽彈的椒鹽蝦、香脆的豬手及嫩滑的蒸魚。一向喜歡湯品,這次的是雪耳唐排湯,味道清潤,雪耳煲得軟淋入味;口感滑嘟嘟,多喝兩碗是正常的吧。柴魚花生粥附有五款配料(鹹菜、花生、葱花、油炸鬼及薄脆),粥底綿滑入味;不要錯過呀!串燒係另一重點推介,今次有羊架、菠蘿、大蝦、粟米及腸仔,當中的粟米、羊架及菠蘿最為出色,我連吃了多件才肯罷休。籠仔蒸海鮮也是推薦之一,今次有蒸鮮蝦及扇貝,爽甜新鮮,而且更係無限量任吃,每樣吃兩三籠也不是什麼難事吧。日式區有12款壽司及手卷,水準雖不錯;但易飽肚,還是少吃一點吧。吃到有點撐,就吃點沙律菜幫助消化吧,自制雜錦沙律,預附沙律如涼拌木耳、希臘沙律,冷盤如川式口水雞也相當不錯。今次的潮州菜種類也不少,包括:鹵水鴨片、掌翼拼豆腐、胡椒豬爽肚、潮式墨魚片、潮州鹹酸菜、花生鳯爪、滷水豬大腸、潮州白粥及紅腸;每樣也想吃,精選了其中幾款,而潮式墨魚片就最得我心,煙韌爽口;配適量醬汁,超級好吃!鈴聲響起,正是特備美食推出時,第一味是富貴雞,只見師父推出一個烤得金黃的麵糰,之後把它慢慢切開;層層疊疊,錫紙包著荷葉-豬網油-雞,可見是一味工序繁多的手工菜,剪開雞背便立時香氣四溢,內涵含多款矜貴食材(花膠、冬菇、瑤柱...等),雞肉嫩滑多汁、肉味濃郁;更帶有陣陣荷香,不錯吃。第二次鈴聲響起;是火焰雪山蛋糕,惜室內燈光太猛,火焰只是隱若可見;外層略帶金黃焦香,甜度不算高,蛋糕亦算鬆軟。稍事休息後便正式進入甜品時間,選擇也真不少,有木桶豆腐花、花生糊、台灣芋圓、即製班戟、即烘雞蛋仔、多款蛋糕,喜歡清淡的;有蜜瓜、西瓜、菠蘿及甜橙,還有movenpick 雪糕。這次Movenpick 雪糕有10 款選擇之多,我選了其中三種(意大利奶凁、熱情果芒果雪糕及特濃咖啡),口感香滑味濃,難怪受到多人追捧。飲品方面有咖啡、紅茶、汔水、柑桔檸檬蜜或無糖凍檸水,柑桔檸檬蜜酸酸甜甜幾開胃;幫助消化確有一手。綠茵閣地址: 北角城市花園道9號城市花園酒店1樓電話: 28064922 continue reading

疫情持續多月,不少酒店自助餐都轉了新吃法,把原有的自助形式轉為任點任食的放題形式,先在點菜紙下單,然後再由專人送上,避免人群聚集,位於北角的城市花園酒店綠茵閣Garden Cafe,由即日起逢星期四至日、公眾假期及前夕,呈獻「吃喝無限點」環球美饌盛宴,令顧客吃得更衛生安心。餐廳環境寬敞,座位排得鬆動,充滿空間感,坐得舒服自在,進入餐廳時會有員工替賓客量度體溫,所有餐廳員工均會配戴口罩,衛生程度更見嚴謹。增設點菜紙,就如日式放題般,任點任食,款式亦不算少,有凍海鮮、凍肉、沙律、是日例湯、刺身壽司、燒物、熱盤、飯麵、潮式風味、天婦羅及烤肉等,大約等五至十分鐘就上枱,全程亦沒有漏單。凍海鮮都是無限量任點任食,款式有紐西蘭青口、海蝦、翡翠螺、琵琶蝦,即使轉成放題,依然可以食盡海上鮮。平時吃buffet 都很少見到有琵琶蝦,肉質緊緻,來貨新鮮,比常見的龍蝦更鮮嫩,一咀一嚼間是海水的鹹鮮。即叫即切的魚生刺身及壽司款式繁多,應有盡有。除了凍海鮮之外,還有熱得冒煙的即蒸海鮮,有大蝦、帶子及魚三款,肉質依然保持鮮爽,不會蒸得過了火候,蒸出的海鮮汁水被蒜香粉絲充分吸收。北京片皮鴨餅皮軟綿煙韌,包著皮薄肉嫩的鴨肉、青瓜和甜麵醬,一口咬下唇齒留香。香草燒肉眼中間仍保持嫩紅色,肉質鬆軟,牛香濃厚突出。燒物都是即叫即燒,雖然串燒看似是簡單直接的烹調技巧,但其實難在如何控制以高溫烤熟食物又不傷食材,個人尤其推介香草羊架,燒得略帶微微焦香,保持肉質細嫩腍滑,羶味不過重,卻又不失羊肉本身的香味,燒菠蘿蒸發了生果中的水分,令酸甜天然果香更加突出。熱盤款式頗多,而且每碟份量只是一小碟,所以可以試盡更多款式,又不怕會浪費食物。星州香辣炒大蝦大隻厚肉,吸收香辣醬汁後,鮮爽又惹味。紅酒燴牛尾肉質軟身卻仍帶有嚼勁,煮得很入味,隱約滲出陣陣微醺酒香。風沙德國豬手焗到皮脆肉嫩,表層脆卜卜,入口肉汁豐盈,鹹香又滋味。還有天婦羅炸物,即點即炸,熱得盪口。中式燉湯真材實料,每一口盡是精華,真是暖身又暖心。新增潮州打冷、滷水菜式,滷得入味亦甘香沉厚,不會濃得死鹹,炎夏吃風味更清爽。胡椒豬肚湯一上枱椒香已是撲鼻而來,胡椒的辣味徹底融入湯水內,辣度確實不輕,不過喝完一整碗立即暖入心扉。泰式燒豬頸肉沙律味道酸酸辣辣,喚醒味蕾,食慾大開。煙三文魚色澤鮮豔,脂肪條紋清楚利落,魚肉鮮美而有彈性。燒紅菜頭蘋果沙律清甜又爽口,感覺清新,可以中和吃完這麼多肉食的飽滯感。甜品全都放於冷凍櫃內,親自挑選完再由專人代夾,相比起以前的buffet 形式,整潔之餘也不用自行夾到東歪西倒,讓甜點賣相更完整美觀。甜品賣相小巧精緻,我自己就最喜歡栗子蛋糕,栗子泥香醇綿密的口感,搭配軟綿綿的蛋糕,滿口充滿濃厚栗香,對我這個栗子控而言,真是毫無抵抗力啊!即叫即製雞蛋仔,粒粒圓潤飽滿,烘得外脆內軟。班戟同樣都是現場即製,可以因應個人口味加上生果配料,滿足甜品慾。最後吃得再飽也不要忘了任食瑞士名牌Mövenpick雪糕,總共有四款口味。飲品除了咖啡、檸茶、汽水等基本款式之外,還可任飲啤酒,開懷大吃兼暢飲一番! continue reading

作為酒店營銷部門,將恆常工作處理得非常業餘、不專業、及醜陋,竟然可以安排撰稿員座在食物吧檯旁邊,人群熙來攘往。醜陋是你拿著食物,但他又同樣拿著食物,但他明顯比你手上的高級、精心制作的、豐盛美味的、更有專人款待大廚Sous Chef全程監察。疫情時份,價錢認真超值$750,包括二人自助餐及一晚住宿。自己租住兩次,下班黃昏到來,吃一頓自助晚餐,早上游泳下午兩時退房,舒適寫意。然後現在就租不到了,原因是謎一樣。住宿顧客自助晚餐只能七時半才可入座。自己首次光顧以為可以提早到達,預早十五分鐘來到。內裡雖有顧客,亦有空席,但接待員工就不准可你就座,只得回房默靜瞬間再到前來。被安排入座時,酒店傳訊部員工剛來向兩男握手派發卡片。兩男檯上放有大型相機再加幾支昂貴鏡頭,很快地大廚發號施令為兩男起菜,食物琳瑯滿目目不暇給,整盤日式刺身、原隻燒雞、蒸籠開邊大蝦、串燒、甜品等等。美妙非常,食物精心擺設伴碟裝飾,質素甚高。我明白做餐飲,宣傳很重要。但作為傳訊部員工可否帶點職業道德,不要無視現場顧客,明目張膽地作假。憤怒!不說了,本來要詳說行內一篇破綻百出之鱔稿、及市場KOL收費方面之資料。現簡單一句提醒便算:假如在雜誌網頁發現評論是有讚無彈、食物價格資料詳盡、相片過份伴菜裝飾的,就很大可能是食肆發出的宣傳稿,實際光顧時往往大打折扣,食客要自行衡量光顧與否。精美甜品吧,款式頗多。每件小巧糕點,櫥櫃內整齊排列,紐約芝士餅、慕絲朱古力、布蘭尼、橙餅等等,旁邊雪糕櫃備有九款味道,即席由專責糕點廚師為客人盛載,高貴衛生。肉眼扒是基本自助餐菜式,只有一款選擇。肉質燒得準確,介乎七成熟,廚師用力壓下時微微滲出血水。割了一大片,加點照燒汁醬,皮外黑椒粒帶出咸味,肉質鮮嫩。前菜選擇超逾十款,除基本西式生菜、粟米紅豆、千島醬外,還有特別中式涼菜口水雞、醋香雲耳,開胃提神。意式風乾火腿也有四款,雲石脂肪紋理,配上哈密瓜果肉,入口肉質軟綿,味蕾甜中雜有咸香。只吃前菜,已飽了一大半。中低檔次的酒店自助餐廳都喜歡搞氣氛,大概時間為客人吃至半飽,正當沉悶之際就會大鑼大鼓,推出特別食品製造高潮。這兒也好此道,推出「富貴雞」。首輪沒去排隊,服務員第二輪再三邀請就前去看看情況,取回雞肉一塊,毫無賣相可言,肉質粗糙。什麼叫「富貴雞」?原來在雞肚內釀入瑤柱海味,然後入爐蒸透,讓瑤柱香味溶入雞肉內。可惜,烹調過久,浪費食材。熱暈選擇不多,也不太吸引。或許只是個人觀感,做餐飲行業日久,看一眼食物已知其味。除非創新食物,否則胃口不大。只選擇了一碗越式生牛肉湯河,配有蘿蔔生肥牛肉洋蔥。中式甜品吧有芋圓珍珠豆腐花,芋圓頗為黏緊,味道也過淡,要添加更多糖份增味。總括而言,$750兩位自助晚餐連一晚住宿非常超值,食物選擇也多,質素水準不錯。但個人胃口小,第一次來還會拍幾張照片,第二次再來吃得更少,吃畢前菜便離開了,不如回房做做公事了。 continue reading

疫情嚴重,差不多所有活動都要取消,剩下來只可間中外出午膳。想避開人群,選擇了較早的午飯時間,喜愛多款式又怕自助餐易受感染,最後選擇了任點任食午餐 11:45的餐廳無人,由於改了形式,食物不會放出來。感覺都比較安心 任點紙有三張,其他食品 例如即炸天婦羅,燒牛肉,魚生,湯粉面,甜品,就要到外面由侍應分發。樣樣點一些吧!掛住食 有點忙,唔係全部都有影相 最後拎左少少甜品埋尾 食物味道幾穩定,份量都唔錯 因為款式唔算少,所以個肚無位可以再番叫。疫情下,離開餐廳時亦只得三枱人客 真令人擔憂。希望餐廳努力支持下去,捱過疫情 continue reading
