提早同家父食生日飯,老人家還是愛老廣東口味,尤其是傳統的順德菜,最後還是選擇去太子的鳳城酒家。鳳城雖有數間分店,但真正有老師傅監場的只有太子及北角店,其他的不吃也罷。雖然有些朋友說這兩店水準已不及往昔,但我只覺爛船總有三分釘的。由於家父早睡,一家人只能選吃午飯,菜式自然不及晚市那麼多。預訂了八寶鴨,這亦是太子鳳城最得我心的食物。八寶鴨是名符其實的手工菜,賣相實而不華,但內有乾坤。完整的鴨身內藏著蓮子、粟子、鹹蛋黃及綠豆等東西,那些內餡已吸滿鴨汁,加上肉亦酥軟,無牙的老人家也啱食,全家人均滿意也。上湯炸粉果也是我每次都鳳城必叫的。炸得香口的粉果放入上湯浸幾秒後,口感即起了變化,外皮變得Q軟,令人一吃難忘。再吃蝦多士(呢度叫鍋貼大明蝦),是傳統的味道,也是大人與細路同樣喜歡。叫多半隻招牌菜炸子雞,雞皮真的又薄又脆,是老廣東的傳統手藝。要了個例牌的彩豬,味道OK,但價錢較貴,性價比唔高。至於生魚就炒片及放湯兩吃,不過不失啦。雖然幾飽,但來到鳳城,還是要吃一些傳統點心,叫了個大飽,重溫兒時的味道。整體而言,太子鳳城還是沒令我失望,將來肯定會繼續幫襯也。 continue reading

已有幾年沒來鳳城酒家,原因是太多人,訂了位也總是要等,等都冇位企。心郁郁掛住佢啲傳統菜式,當家人提議去呢度食團年飯便舉腳贊成。它分兩個時段訂位,第一輪是6點,第二輪7:30,可想而知食6點嘅7:30一定起唔到身埋單走人,如是者我地15人最後8:30先有得入座⋯因為人多嘅關係,部份菜式要叫雙份先夠食。炸子雞唔錯,雖然皮唔脆,但雞肉嫩滑得嚟夠熟,加埋檸檬汁小朋友食到LAM LAM 脷。芫茜魚肚羹真係有勁多生芫茜,我夾走哂啲芫茜先食,個羹唔太咸,味道可以但不唔太特別。蓮藕餅是鳳城得意之作,一口咬下去能吃到蓮藕粒,與魚肉豬肉混在一起煎香,是送飯必備的菜餚。預訂了八寶鴨終於上場,鴨肉非常淋身出乎意料比其他餐廳的八寶鴨的味道較為淡,但依然足料,一大勺能吃到蓮子、蛋黃和鴨肉,啲鴨肉炆到淋哂連骨食好正我最期待的菜色是蝦多士,即炸多士外脆內軟,唔會油淋淋,出色豉椒鱔球都夠鑊氣,只係嫌鱔球少咗啲炒鮮奶比較令人失望,不知是否炒得太耐啲奶老咗,食落有啲鞋。咕嚕肉酸甜味十足,食落啖啖肉,很不錯甜品以西米焗布甸作結,熱辣辣,不會過甜,有陣陣蓮蓉和蛋香味,雖然好飽都要食哂佢!為咗食佢嘅招牌菜,等一個鐘都值得嘅。下次醒目食頭圍或者尾圍,就唔洗等得咁辛苦啦 continue reading

試過喺幾間唔同嘅鳳城食晚飯,始終覺得太子店嘅食材比較新鮮,廚師手藝較佳,呢日喺附近睇完嘢,於是就過嚟食飯。上次喺度見到枱枱都叫乳豬,無奈已叫咗餸,所以就無試到,呢晚一心諗住會一會佢,點知已經賣晒,當堂有啲失望,唯有下次再嚟試過啦! 呢餐見咗兩個餸,一個係菠蘿生炒骨,另一個係涼瓜炒鱔球。菠蘿生炒骨味道普普通通,最特別係加咗啲薑粒一齊炒,有解滯作用。涼瓜炒鱔球就真係食到叮一聲 ,涼瓜好爽脆,但又唔苦,我本來係涼瓜控,真係食到唔停口,鱔球啖啖肉,雖然有少少細骨,但都可以接受,加上呢碟餸用豆豉,蒜片,薑同陳皮一齊爆炒,不但香味十足,仲可以辟去魚腥味,呢兩個餸送白飯,簡直係絕配。下次我會再返嚟叫返碟人氣乳豬,一試龍與鳳。 continue reading

我家的廣州親戚來港自遊行,親戚住在太子嘅酒店,以前幫襯過其他分店都ok唔錯,咁就相約親戚在鳳城飲早茶,我哋一行總共有16人,親戚們有9個人,比我哋相約的時間早到了咗半小時,但係職員只給他們一張10人坐的枱(有講明有16人的),當我們另外7人到酒樓時發覺得一張10人枱根本係坐唔到,叫職員再安排,那位大嬸阿姐同我哋講話坐得落,我哋話你哋搵人坐比我哋睇,佢就黑口黑面咁死埋一邊唔理!以後話過唔會黎呢間嘢度食😤😤 continue reading

垃圾職員早幾日訂了位仲預留左冬瓜盅同焗西米布甸6月25晚大約6點20分點菜,紅衫職員A叫了炸子雞、柚皮、咕嚕肉、蝦多士、炒鮮奶、小炒王,同紅衫職員A講我地仲留左個冬瓜盅。之後發現佢將咕嚕肉寫左生炒骨,琳住算緊要無乜所謂當轉下口味,好快冬瓜盅就到左,好味入面又有好多材料以為今晚有開心的晚餐冬瓜盅吃完開始期待之後的食物,坐了約20分鐘隔離枱比我們遲到都開始吃了,有一個職員覺得有奇怪看了我們的點菜單原來紅衫職員A根本沒有把點菜單拿去經收銀枱送入廚房,聽到個職員同紅衫職員A講:"你吾拿過去人地未無野食lo",當時我心想吾係ma。大約7點有個高級職員過尼同我地講:"柚皮賣晒"我們成枱開始嬲,我們6點幾開始點菜,原來一直白坐,7點入單當然無晒,一句對吾住都平息吾我們的憤惱,紅衫職員A站在後面沒有出聲,只有冬瓜盅一直沒有菜到過。之後琳住應該好快有得食,結果7點15分都沒有菜到過,拿著點菜單去收銀枱理論,之後個高級職員過尼同我們講吾好意思已經叫廚房即刻煮,平時不會粗口鬧人的我都爆發了。直到接近7點半終於有菜到一次過到齊但係全部都好油 continue reading
