星期六晚同三個中學同學一共四個人去食四季煲仔飯聽其他朋友講呢間野好出名所以就二話不說揀咗呢間8點去到見到要排隊仲要排長龍心諗整冇死啦點個呢知先係惡夢開始一行去隊尾就有人俾咗個餐牌我地叫我哋即刻點菜下⋯點樣即刻點呀?算,拿拿臨叫左3個飯,一客大蠔餅,一客腐乳通菜;埋單$270蚊叫完嘢食仲要企喺度排隊排半個鐘大約半個鐘之後入到去就有位坐之後仲要再等等多左三個字之後蠔餅就黎,話就話4塊(冇影到相)但係4塊都好細,多謝$80同埋我只會話佢係暖唔知炸完之後放左幾耐先俾我哋食落口,完全係「林」之後就到腐乳通菜(跟餐$16)中規中矩冇投訴最後三個飯一齊上一打開 就知出事白鱔煲仔飯($70),得5舊仔排骨同滑雞($50@),正常份量算數但係最過分係啲飯嘅質感去相⋯⋯⋯影相影得唔好,請勿見怪但係食煲仔飯就係想食佢啲飯焦依家野三個煲仔飯都係勁濕無論點焗都焗唔到飯焦出嚟講完飯質,講肉排骨雞粒冬菇唔知攞咩來接「葉」係勁鹹食完一舊之後要係咁飲茶但係都沖唔走d鹹味由於三個飯嚟嗰時已經收咗錢之後越食越唔對路最後食到一半,拉隊走左去咗對面間麥當勞買18件雞食結論:未食過咁難食煲仔飯如果想中伏,呢間可以去試下但係對我黎講,不可一,不可再 continue reading

雖然當天溫度一d都唔凍,仲好熱,但因為咁岩係附近又想食好食既煲仔飯,基於對一次係食興記,所以今次就去左而度。每次黎而度或者經過而度我都係未試過冇見到人龍,今次唔單至冇人龍,入面都係得一半滿,咁好彩定..........基本上我一定係叫臘腸排骨煲仔飯,所以睇都唔洗睇就落左單,然後我咁岩見到隔離枱個飯好似好濕身,但係唔唸咁多啦。等左10分鐘黎到,一打開個蓋,個飯同平時屋企煮果d泰國米一樣白一樣色,食一口,根本就係一樣,冇溝過米,同蒸飯一樣,炒下個底睇下有冇飯焦,冇不特至,仲要d飯有d濕到痴埋一pat, 其實佢煲多陣肯肯定定唔會咁,唔知究竟個廚師換左人定新手,仲衰過自己煮!個排骨正常,條臘腸好乾身! 而個54蚊既煲仔飯比起唐記30蚊有找既蒸飯仲差!其實佢明明同煲仔飯差好遠!老老實實唔知個老西為左減成本定係老西都會埋,有常識都唔可能咁樣整!而間野唔係退步咁簡單,難怪少左咁多人!PS 差d想叫蠔餅,好彩聽到有人話唔好食即刻作罷! continue reading

呢間煲仔飯好出名,所以一直都想去食,今日終於約到朋友食,結果,我地都好失望。一去到,環境一般,不過有冷氣都算好噶。我地兩個都係大食噶,所以每人各叫左一個煲仔飯,一份細蠔餅,一份生菜。蠔餅好快到,望落好似幾大份甘,原來呃人噶,兩塊蠔餅加埋都唔知有無5粒蠔仔,全部都係粉,空氣甘,而且又油。碟生菜都係,勁多油。戲肉係煲仔飯。我叫左個排骨滑雞煲仔飯。d飯完全仲係米離噶,o曬嘴,成煲都係生米。同個姐姐講,姐姐話幫我再煮下。唯有再等啦。朋友叫左個臘腸滑雞飯,區話完全無味道,所以落左好多豉油,但都係無麼味,區好夾硬甘食左一半,因為唔想浪費。再等左10分鐘左右,我個煲仔飯終於二次加煮完。立刻食一啖,完全食唔到,都係生米,點食阿。仲要勁乾,我唯有食曬d肉,但飯真係食唔到。呢間煲仔飯已經比我同朋友blacklist左,我地都話呢個係我地食過最難食噶煲仔飯。 continue reading

經過見倒幾多人幫襯所以一試,叫左臘腸滑雞飯加鳳爪排骨飯,一黎到個鳳爪排骨飯嘅排骨係生嘅,成嚿排骨成透明狀,結果要阿姐攞去再煲。跟住臘腸滑雞飯的臘腸同滑雞尚可,不過飯完全像電飯煲煲出來的飯一樣,很濕很林,完全沒有煲仔飯的風味。然後鳳爪排骨飯回來了,誰知個飯比之前的臘腸滑雞飯更濕,完全沒有炭火的風味,鳳爪和排骨也不見得好食。排骨的骨很多,鳳爪亦唔好食。整體結果可謂相當失望,完全跟期望中的煲仔飯相差甚遠,雖說用炭火,但竟然沒有炭火效果,不知是否趕收工所以影響食物質素。我想我不會幫襯第2次。 continue reading

Scoured the net like everyone hoping to find Hong Kong's best clay pot rice. Almost all results pointed to this restaurant, but I digress.First thing you notice near dinner time was a hole in the wall with plastic covers at the entrance, and a long queue formed. It left an impression of a makeshift quarantine station, but民間美食is usually found in the most unexpected of places, so we joined the bandwagon.Inside was super loud; you get an array of visitors from all over. I know I shouldn't be nosy, but mainland guest beside us was speaking so loudly about his extra-marital affair for the whole world to hear that our ears couldn't help but perk up as we subtly inched over to八卦about why it was alright for him to be involved in a harem but immoral of his wife to divorce him over for it--enjoyed hearing this self-involved bigot talk all the while judging him (so hard) and consumed our food quietly:[Hot damn! ] 炸蠔餅(Oyster pancake) $30 HKD: Best item on the menu. The red sauce and the fish sauce made it taste so heavenly as it blended in with the greasy oil still sizzling. A must order![MEH & pricy] 白鱔煲仔飯(Eel Claypot) $74HKD: Good flavouring, but didn't quite like the soy pieces as it was overpoweringly salty. Also found it quite expensive and totally unsatisfied with only 5 pieces of thin eels. Think we got too hungry and opened pot too early otherwise the bottom would have formed a crispy shell.  臘腸滑雞煲仔飯Chinese Sausage & Smooth Chicken $53HKD: Smooth chicken was tender but the sausage was too greasy. Points docked because no crispy rice shell at the bottom. However, the soy sauce was savoury and sweet at just the right level.While this joint was not " the best," we did enjoy ourselves "overhearing" juicy gossips of other patrons. It was a damn shame we didn't get to hear the full story, but it did make the food taste better. continue reading
