 哩一間都算系老字號了吧,shopping攰咗就霖住入去休息下兼補充下能量,填下肚先。之前中秋節嘅時候就有過想法要自己試下做柚子皮食,不過搜索咗一下就放棄咗,真系好多工序,所以見到福臨門有就圓咗自己嘅心願喇,上臺嘅時候我都認無出系柚子皮,不過口感方面有小小似瓜類,滑滑的,味道好香濃,完全食無出柚子皮嘅味道,不過一啲澀味都無,我打嘅個7.5分吧。魚翅灌湯包,好好食,我最滿意嘅食物之一,湯汁都想好香甜嘅,湯包就更加無洗講喇,就系鐘意哩種湯湯水水撈埋一齊嘅,食起身特別有屋企嘅感覺。招呼好周到,主動! continue reading

Friends came over for a visit in Hong Kong and though it was a good idea to bring them to Fook Lam Moon for dim sum... However, it was a bad experience .... the food tasted bland and really nothing justified the price we paid for the lunch. Service was good but... if you have bad food there's no point right .... I hope your food will improve in days to come but it just wasn't up to standard on that day .  continue reading

Tried Fook Lam Moon once 5 years back, it was good. Dim sum was above average back then, still remembering the prawn dumpling skin being so translucent, ingredients used was so fresh back then. Went there with some friends 3 days ago, we were so disappointed with the food quality. Prawns in prawn dumpling weren't fresh at all, dumpling skin was thick and dry. Siu Mai tasted like frozen siu mai from the supermarket. All the other dimsum dishes were below average too. Ordered "Pu Er" tea, but they served us "Pu Er" with chrysanthemum. Ridiculous mistake for a 'reputable' restaurant like this. continue reading

第一次來福臨門,星期二中午11:30,一個人。一坐下,服務員沒有問我喝什麼茶,就上了鐵觀音,他們以為我說英文的。通常我是喝普洱茶的,但是鐵觀音茶很意外的,配甜食點心都好吃。1. 蟹黃蝦燒賣一份四個 (65 HKD)大小適中,彈牙,中規中矩,口味中和,經典普通。蒸籠出來冒煙,燙到食物的核心,我慢慢吃,吃到最後食物都還是溫熱的,我建議等蒸籠冷一點在吃,比較可以吃到食物整個融合的細緻度,雖然說中國人喜歡吃熱食,但是東西太熱就只吃到熱氣,吃不到食物的融合度。不會太鹹,口味單吃就不錯,但沾了點辣椒醬換換口味,也滿好吃的,辣椒醬味道調的很新鮮。配鐵觀音茶味道很合。2. 馬拉糕 一份一塊(50 HKD)對我來說有點太甜,符合大眾口味。很鬆軟,蒸濕,蓬鬆,稍微涼一點,切一小口放在口裡即化最好吃,也不會那麼甜,太燒太熱剛出爐的吃起來很甜。配上有點淡淡苦味的鐵觀音,味道剛剛好。3. 北菇滑雞窩一份三個 (65 HKD)服務員推薦的,我覺得很特別,好看又好吃。味道搭配得很細緻:香菇、蛋黃、豬肉、跟半個包子的味道很融合。有淡淡的鹹味,裡面有雞、香菜、蝦像燒賣一樣的雞肉團,全部放在嘴裡,味道融成一片很和諧美好。這道菜配鐵觀音茶,也很好4. 蛋黃麻茸飽 1個 (17 HKD)過甜,但味道很細緻,包子很鬆軟,裡面的餡很細,有蛋黃、芝麻、也有花生的甜味。也是冷一點吃,整個食物的味道才會出來。5.  流沙奶皇飽 1個 (17 HKD) 過甜了一點點,可是有奶味,皮的厚度剛剛好配上它的餡的甜味,也許要這麼甜,裡面的味道才會出來。 continue reading

尖沙咀福臨門比灣仔店看來更大一點,環境不算闊落,點心的款式總類亦跟灣仔店如出一徹。或許我們吃得比較慢,隣桌客人都轉換了好幾檯。今次先來蠔皇叉燒包,包身非常小巧,裂縫像旋渦一樣散開,有點像日本忍者的飛鏢。裡頭醬汁的顔色很暗,叉燒被切成小粒。蜜味很低調,叉燒的焦香味比較突出。包身拿在手上軟軟的,入口有點黏牙。荀尖鮮蝦餃的封口翹翹的很優美,餃皮結實彈牙,剛好十二摺。內餡包裹着的蝦仁很肥美,入口鮮甜然後帶點胡椒的辛辣,加上一條條的荀絲,令爽口感不斷。瑤柱珍珠雞是今日比較喜歡的一道,珍珠雞除了以荷葉包裹,外面再用一層紙包好,蒸煮時鎖住荷葉清香。Size其實只有5cm左右大小的五方形,打開可見內餡混了瘦肉碎、冬菇粒、蝦仁、蝦米、瑤柱絲,還有鹹蛋黃,味道不是很鹹,糯米口感很軟,最喜歡它細細隻很容易KO。卷着雞扎的淮山,顏色帶點紫,薄切一條到底,入口還有點爽口感。魚肚厚厚的吸收飽滿的醬汁,師傅還夾了一件粉紅色瘦肉,花菇件雖然很香但偏硬,雞件多骨無肉,反而是配料中最失色的。甜品點了馬拉糕和陳皮紅豆沙,前者小小的一件,氣孔很大,質感帶濕潤,顏色很懷舊,甜度則剛好。後者同椒小小的一碗,撈起來的紅豆粒明明已經起沙,但糖水本身還是水水的,感覺很分離,但很有陳皮香。是日在福臨門飲茶,隣座的幾圍都是有錢人家,出入有司機接送、談的都是xxxx萬上落的生意、埋單喜歡用現金,然後把餘下來的隨手塞給店員當小費,店員招呼起來也就更熱情和勤快。這些看在眼裡、聽在耳邊,有點看黃金時段電視劇的感覺。結帳離開,踏出福臨門那刻,悶熱的空氣似乎是提醒我要回到現實。 continue reading
