今次黎 Flying Pig 係衝住佢最 signature 既 lamb wellington 同歐洲菜而黎,都真係無失望~~ 樣樣都整得好出色🥰🥹 📍Borscht $98 對於羅宋湯既起源,其實都有幾大既爭議,到底係烏克蘭/俄羅斯定波蘭呢?與其分唔到,咁就當佢係東歐既代表湯啦 (打和~) 同肯定唔係我地平時茶記飲嗰啲😂羅宋湯用紅菜頭加少量肉粒吊味,成碗湯都好紅同埋質地係較稀味道偏清新,所以餐廳附上兩件蘑菇餡croquette我地黎送,兩樣夾埋黎食就剛好 📍Pierogies $118食波蘭菜必食餃子!佢地係餃子大國啲餃子有勁多款揀,嗰時去波蘭佢地係仲有甜味餃子!! 個藍莓餃子依家都仲覺得好震撼因為從未食過甜既餃子~ 而今次佢地呢款就係最 typical 既薯仔+芝士做餡,入口外皮唔會太厚,餡都夠飽滿~ 📍Lamb Wellington $328又係另一個必食招牌菜! 好少地方會見到,整法同威靈頓牛一樣都係用酥皮包裹表面嘅酥皮金黃酥脆,唔同既係中間既餡由蘑菇醬變成茄子,食落會更濕潤,內裡嘅羊肉嫩滑多汁,羊肉嘅騷味唔太濃,反而帶有獨特嘅香氣,搭配上菠菜同特製醬汁,味道好豐富同濃郁~📍Traditional pickled herring $118食完幾款東歐菜,今次又轉返試瑞典既名菜醃鯡魚~醃鯡魚本身味道好咸,食嗰時配埋酸忌廉洋蔥青蘋果同麵包成件事就好開胃 📍Polish Crepes $98平時一般法式 crepe 既餡都係 jam , caramel 同 nutella,令呢個crepes變波蘭,就係佢入面filling 用咗cottage cheese,一咬開入面既cottage cheese超扎實飽滿,芝士控一定超鐘意!! continue reading

約了朋友在這裏午餐,當時餐廳人不多,但背景音樂比較吵,聊天的話,得提高聲浪,於是大家收拾心情專注於食物。可惜Steak and Egg Benedict($140)味道叫人失望,本來賣相就已經隨便得頗嚇人,牛扒太多筋,刀也切不開。熱香餅亦很靭,要使勁地咬才可吞下。幸好另外一份Homemade Sausages and Egg($118)為這餐挽回些少分數。Sourdough的外皮烤得鬆脆,腸仔也正常發揮;但那煎雙蛋、以至整碟賣相,令人懷疑人生。其實當時餐廳只有三檯客人,除了侍應服務熱心,整體用餐感受是:hea煮。 continue reading
