來西營盤高街FLYING PIG 吃午餐, 平日人流不算太多, 都好容易搵到位, 當然最好先BOOK 位。 餐廳是開放形式, 天氣涼涼地就算無冷氣都覺得還可以。 店員全是外藉人士,落單時唔太Friendly 欠耐性。Set Lunch 四道菜 $118/位 + 10% 頭盤二選一, 沙律或是日餐湯餐湯是   喝到有蝦的鮮味,但欠甜香,湯頭不熱,飲左幾啖都唔想飲, 打晒折扣。 主菜四選一  一眼就知碟上的並非石斑魚, 雖然魚柳表面煎得香脆,肉質細嫩但和石斑的口感是無得比,魚味亦較腥,唔好味。 海鮮醬欠鮮味,醬汁和魚也只有餘溫。只有薯蓉令我想食光。甜品  賣相不太好;不感興趣包一杯凍檸檬茶  + $15 改為Cappuccino 但來了一杯貌似 MOCHA 的熱飲都無乜所謂總之系咖啡我都照飲。咖啡味道如其色澤十分濃郁,奶泡豐富,香味足但濃得有點苦,朱古力太出蓋去一部份咖啡香。 這杯咖啡是全個午餐唯一一樣是的。 continue reading

公司食飯揀左呢間位於高街既飛天豬西餐廳坐低之後除左豬都有牛/魚選擇我揀左越式生菜包豬肉點知黎到原來係炸腩肉配幾塊生菜同預期中都幾大出入炸腩肉貌似平時燒味檔既燒腩仔但味道無禁咸 岩我醬汁好食 酸酸甜甜 兩隻幾夾但生菜點都包唔到豬肉因為啲生菜每塊得一半,似伴菜多啲同事叫左牛扒 成數都準 但非常韌佢地話食完牙骹好攰甜品係芋頭味 少見 亦都好食 加返分! continue reading

雖然搬咗黎附近一年,但通常星期六、日下晝食晏,都係去第二街、第三街食碗麵咁就算,夜晚先會去高街食飯。但上星期六,有朋友專程過嚟搵我,話想試吓高街啲餐廳,咁我就即刻諗起Flying Pig,去過好幾間高街啲餐廳食晚飯,但一直對Flying Pig印象較深,所以朋友專程過黎,就帶佢去試一試。一直好鍾意Flying Pig嘅裝修,係高街都算別樹一格,因為間餐廳係走輕鬆路線,同其他餐廳與別不同,特別啲壁畫畫得好開心(飛天豬),所以朋友都好滿意可以係度食一個輕鬆既午餐。我就叫左一個午餐,首先有一個南瓜湯,個南瓜湯好濃,而且南瓜味好重,可以見得真材實料。然後再黎一份墨西哥卷餅,份量夠之餘,仲非常好味,老實講,三個月前我去咗墨西哥,食嘅墨西哥卷餅,有時都無呢一份咁好食,所以喜出望外,個墨西哥卷餅仲有好多沙律菜,對於午餐唔想食得咁heavy嘅我, 十分啱心水。我朋友就冇叫到午餐,我推介佢食wild mushroom pappardelle,因為我上次食過覺得好正,睇落去已經覺得個汁好豐富,蘑菇有好多,一食就知係用心之作。另外,餐廳職員服務好好,有一個外籍男職員經常同我地傾計,好關心我地覺得食物合唔合乎水準。每人百幾蚊食得好,又食得開心,無令專程黎既朋友失望! continue reading

We arrived at the restaurant at around 6:30pm. It seemed pretty empty at the time. Therefore, we could clearly see how the restaurant looked - it was elegant and endearingly-furnished. The ambiance was really niceBefore we even ate anything, we just couldn't help but notice how CUTE their plates looked! I mean, a cute pig that tells you to save food? Yas! It was one of the cutest things I've seen!After we ordered our food, the drinks were the first time arrive at our table. We all ordered beer 'cause why not? Now let me tell you what dishes we got!(1) FLYING BANGERS & MASH  $168 - This dish was basically a sausage platter with bacons and mashed potatoes. It was okay, nothing too impressive, but i liked it.(2) Potatoes with Camembert Cheese - $128 - This one was so special. When my friend saw "Camembert " on the menu, she was so eager to get it cuz it wasn't exactly common. We dipped the potatoes in the cheese - and it was simply divine. (3) Salmon Papperdella - $168 - This one was the chef's special. And I simply adored it. The portion was big and it tasted delicious. It was sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. (4) NZ Lamb Chop - $248 - The lamb chop was very tender and perfectly cooked. The waiter recommended medium and it was just fine. We had a lovely time eating here. Waiters were absolutely nice and food quality was satisfactory. Of course, I need to look for some good restaurants during my holiday. Walking around Sai Ying Pun, finally we found this cute restaurant name - the flying pig. The atmosphere was really comfortable and nice. Most of items are flowers and pigs. We ordered 3 items and a glass of wine each. Aussie mussels in white wine sauce - it was fresh in a proper portion but I think it was a bit salty and less of butter taste. Clam linguine - fresh clams in white sauce. The linguine was well cooked. Signature iberico pork - honestly, it was not up to my expectation. It was dry and a bit over cooked. continue reading
