I recently been to Flutes with some friends to celebrate a birthday before heading off to a restaurant nearby... this is a cosy little champagne bar with big names on its menu and a great selection of wines and spirits. We heard of its opening few weeks ago, so we decided that it was time to test it out and celebrate with some bubbles!We were given the warmest welcome from the moment we arrived: the manager and the rest of the staff were helpful, charming and refreshingly attentive without being intrusive.The bar wasn't too busy at that time so we chose two tables with high stools on the balcony. The interior is very chic and elegant, modern but not too fancy or pretencious. To start our evening of celebrations, we had to try the house champagne - very, very good and great value for money. Needless to say a flute of bubbly was just not enough to mark such an auspicious occasion. So we had to try some of the cocktails they offer ... all of which were superb. They also have a good selection of Mocktails for those who wants non alcoholics drinks. Flutes is a great venue, with a really chilled vibe. A very mixed and youthful crowd, out for a good time. We thought that this is a great venue in SoHo for groups, couples and a place for single ladies to share a bottle without being harrassed!! We also tried the cured meat platter as well the cheese platter which were a nice choice for a reasonable price before our dinner that evening.We really enjoyed our evening at Flutes and we highly recommend it!

I was passing by and saw this place (admittedly I had been informed by a close friend of it's existence) and decided to give it a shot. I am not a Champagne person but the person I was with, is. There is a great offering of Champagne, all well priced compared to the bars that seem to want a deposit on a house for a bottle!I stuck to the Cocktails, can't remember what I had but they were delicious. My friend and I had a lovely evening, staff were terrific and the manager helped my friend with her champagne selection.I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to take a girl or guy on a romantic date, after work drinks or just a casual chat in comfortable surroundings. It really is something different and more appealing to the cookie cutter bars in that area.9 stars from ten!Reccomend
