To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今日諗住慶祝朋友生日,加上見呢間野係黃店,所以揀左呢間餐廳。食物質素不過不失,但服務真係不似預期,由order到埋單都出曬事。.首先我book位嗰陣已經喺電話提過我會帶蛋糕,但去到餐廳嗰陣個waiter 望住我個蛋糕呆左咁🫠。.去到order野食啦,咁我就同朋友傾緊叫乜,個馬尾中佬waiter就走埋黎搵我哋要咩,我話「傾緊,陣間先。」之後佢話「下?傾緊?」聽到呢句已經有啲唔gur😅 心諗charge 呢個價位嘅餐廳員工居然會俾說話客人聽。.order嗰陣我就叫左杯Happy Ending,隔一陣佢又走翻黎問我想要咩嘢飲,話未落單😂。不過有嗰句講嗰句,杯嘢幾好飲,啲cheese form 同下面啲藍莓好夾,唔會好漏。.仲叫左個tomato spaghetti同beef wellington,都係不過不失 but I expected more😂.後來切完蛋糕收錢,我知要收切餅費嘅,我碌完卡以為佢已經charge 左喺張單裏面,後來話我知要另外收。ok fine 我問可唔可以碌埋卡,waiter話要俾cash🥹,笑死呢啲嘢我都係第一次見。.埋單2個人$722(未計切餅費😘),ok嘅不過唔會翻兜,我都唔想其他人去收氣。 continue reading

It is hard to find high quality steak in Tai Po so I wanted to try this after spotting it on OpenRice. What a great experience; the chef is really superb and the ingredients are all top quality. The charcoal oven really makes the steak delicious! But my favorite dish of the evening was the King Salmon with Tiger prawn. The sauce was heavenly, it was cooked nice and pink to perfection, not dry or over cooked! Also highly recommend the duck leg confit which is served with mashed potatoes and veggies and a fruity sauce. Also cooked to perfection. We went for the normal ribeye (350g) which was also cooked perfectly and had a nice woody flavor. We finished off with the apple crumble which was delicious, not overly sweet and served piping hot (all dishes were served REALLY hot which is important to me). Overall a very refreshing and positive experience. Make sure you book it you want to make sure you get a table, otherwise you might have to sit at the high bar counters. They now serve lunch and a weekend brunch menu which is a great deal! continue reading
