To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Food and Health Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the "League of RSS-friendly Restaurants" ("League"). Restaurants participated in the League will offer less-salt-and-sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the League Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. The spotlight of the night was definitely the Black Garlic Siu Mai Pork Dumplings! 👑 Who would ever thought putting black garlic into a siu mai? That’s so creative! And they work so well together 🤤 The black garlic definitely added a bit of sweetness and aroma to the siu mai 👍🏻I had too much expectations on the spring rolls, but the sea urchin is definitely a plus to everything 🥳

Dim Sum Library作為Aqua Group的一員, 在裝修上面不會有甚麼擔心, 就是走Modern Chic的路線, 和aqua一樣但就是沒有海景. 菜式方面當然是以點心為主, 食材和價錢就是比一般的更為Hi-End—Truffle, 和牛及黑毛豬在Menu中始起彼落, 但在手工上還有改善的地方, 例如是Truffle蝦餃的皮比粉果還要厚, 海膽蟹肉春卷內的醬汁頗甜從而蓋過了前兩者的鮮味, 以及黑椒和牛酥的黑椒汁頗帶著死鹹也是蓋過了和牛本身的味道. 可取的嘛, 就是上菜的速度, 點菜後十分鐘內全部菜上齊, 作為日理萬機的金鐘上班族, 如此效率相當重要!

As only two of us, couldn’t really order much (as much as we would love to try all different dishes!)

Anyway, we ordered our all time favourites of Siu Loong Bao, which here is called Dan Dan Tong Bao. We also ordered the Waygu Beef Pastry, Pan Fried Chinese Herbal Yam Cake, Rice Rolls with fried bean curd and prawns wrapped in and Ginger Lobster Bao.

First, the Dan Dan Tong Bao was super nice, spicy which I like


Second, we had the Ginger Lobster Bao, also very nice, not so heavy.

Third, here it came to the Waygu Beef Pastry. This is very nice! The Beef have been mixed with some black pepper sauce and there’s plenty of meats inside. For the pastry, it’s very nice too, not too greasy, not overly down nor was it too thick, and layers are very clear.

Rice rolls, it’s nice but felt really heavy, maybe because of the big piece of prawn paste and fried bean curd inside.

Pan Fried Chinese Herbal Yam Cake, the taste gave us some surprise, a good one though. As very peppery, which we both nice, and different from normal yam cake from the normal dim sum menu.

Customer service was gooood
that’s quite important in any f&b


Little pricy for what it is, but I guess it’s worth come back again with more people though, so can try more different dishes.

小編今日中午去左試呢個,本來對呢間野感覺一般,始終都系d鬼佬中餐FEEL甘,但難得朋友仔過黎金鐘,就試下渠啦。本身唔期望會好好味,但竟然就系出乎意料之外既正,確實渠地既點心較重口味,但小編系重口味人士所以都無妨,另外渠地既點心都既特別,例如酸菜春卷,以為伏伏地,結果竟然幾OK WOR,仲有渠既響鈴炸兩都非常唔錯,我地仲有叫一個大澳蝦醬生菜煲,系非常之甘惹味既,反而個鵝肝熏蛋就極一般,可以不用試,實在,唔好味,得個咸字。黑松露蝦餃不過不失啦,但唔係話MUST EAT ITEM囉!

Other Info. : 不過提提大家可以就早兩三日BOOK台,當然WALK IN都多數有位但限時1個小時,小編眼見附近既食客又傾下計又食下野好快一個小時就過,又被催交台,如果大家想慢慢食下野詳談,呢度絕對不是一個好選擇。

我有時要去公司註冊處交文件,經過見到擔擔湯包廣告咁吸引,鍾意小籠包的我都好想試試特別的小籠包,咁就預算等媽唔煮飯的日子來食~ 我的重點是食擔擔湯包,所以主食就是旦揀左碗麵~ 麵沒有特別好食,亦沒有特別難食,就是普普通通咁~ 但擔擔湯包就比我預期中差一點囉⋯⋯ 有少少辣味,唔算太辣,我都食得完,但這種湯不是我喜歡的~ 其實這間店有原味小籠包的,我見隔離客人點左,睇落好食d~ 我下次先試到了,因為我知道的時候已經吃飽了~ 餐廳安排了吧枱位給我坐,可以睇調酒,我就順道問了調酒師長島冰茶的大細,他指隻杯都幾大隻,我本身係水瓶座,聽過千嬅的「可惜我是水瓶座-要是回去 沒有止痛藥水 拿來長島冰茶換我半晚安睡」就一直想試,以前以為是茶,後來才知是酒,但我一個人飲酒就好像不太安全~ 都未確定下次一定會試~

However the dim sum and dishes were quite greasy. For our Sunday lunch we ordered a mixture of 11 dim sum and normal dishes for a party of 3.  The dim sum served was fusion style and looked interesting. However the dim sum and dishes were quite greasy. A few dishes were very salty while some are bland and tasteless.  Given that the food was priced at fine dining level, we expected better and don't plan going back. Moreover there was leftover as the salty or greasy dishes were not appetizing. We also should have taken the critical review of other Open Rice diners about this restaurant more seriously prior to going there. The interior of the restaurant also seems like a dungeon (windowless) and dark.

約咗朋友嚟呢度,都係諗住佢個名叫Library 應該好多點心可以揀,仲滿心歡喜添現場環境係偏暗,見佢個名都估係serve 外國人多架啦,加上現場有吧枱同高櫈,好明顯啦。見到咁仲期望有好特色的點心啦點知坐底咗,睇住個menu,我同朋友的反應都係一樣,得咁少款點心可以揀,成本menu大約十版,點心好似只亦一版半,其他都係小菜,再唔係就drink menu、wine list 。心諗,唔係呀,咁都叫library 。 確實個menu令我失望,咁我地都照叫點心啦。講真服務同招呼確實係好,基本上有求必應;點心味道都好,唯獨個手撕雞腸粉真心覺得唔得,最好食係黑椒和牛酥,堅酥脆,又夠黑椒味,買相都唔差。不過如果有下次,可能要中午去,睇下係唔係會多d點心俾我揀。

I had the fusion dim sum dishes for lunch. They were edible and hygenic but the taste just wasnt there. The crab dumplings didn't even have a taste at all. While the decor was nice, the service was slow and inattentive (they weren't around when you needed them so couldn't get their attention). Overall I wouldn't return or recommend this place to others. For better non-fusion dim sum you should go to Sun Hing in Kennedy Town or for fusion dim sum go to Man Mo Cafe.
