聞說美味廚的排骨菜飯很有名,既然在銅鑼灣午餐當然要去一試。排骨菜飯遠近馳名,可以跟餐配飲品或小菜,而我就要了大豆芽。排骨果然酥脆,多汁,即使是厚的肉排,亦不會太韌。可是,我對菜飯有點失望。飯太軟,太稀爛,沒有菜的味道,要扣分。朋友order了個腰果雞丁菜飯。腰果雞丁中規中矩,都夠鑊氣,不過雞丁和腰果太細粒。另外,我們叫了蒜泥白肉,味道可以,但可以多點蒜。還有這個豆腐,外脆內軟!正! continue reading

去美味廚當然要食佢的招牌菜排骨菜飯啦!豬排外層酥脆,而且有用蜜糖(?)調味,甜甜的好開胃菜飯略嫌有少少油,不過菜切得夠細粒有口感我嗌咗套餐配一碗花旗蔘竹絲雞湯,應該冇落味精,係好清好滋潤的老火湯太肚餓啦,唔記得相機要食先另外仲叫咗酸辣雲吞,美味廚的酸辣湯都好值得推薦,酸同辣嘅比例都啱啱好,雲吞好大粒,個餡超足料 continue reading

由八九十年代一直吃到現在,以前的排骨都是大塊而且鬆軟,價格尚算合理(以銅鑼灣來說),但最出名嘅排骨已經不復當年,肉質又乾又硬,菜飯有時菜少到不得了,同白飯沒有分別,只是多了一些油在飯上面,其他菜飯如牛筋、切雞,份量也太少,排骨起碼都叫做一塊!有時候會叫炒菜,出來的結果得個肥字!服務態度就更加不能接受,如果你攞得多嘢你根本沒地方放,只會叫你用檯邊個小掛鉤,試問一個大背包怎樣掛上,分分鐘反檯。就算旁邊有地方放圓櫈都一於欠奉!睇嚟,我以後都唔會再去!! continue reading

We had heard two friends recommending the good food of this place so we came here for takeaway. We ordered three items: 排骨菜飯 ($55), 素雞 ($38) and 油燜荀 ($35) for each of us.The signature 排骨菜飯 was very disappointing as the 排骨 which were actually pork chop was very bad. There were only 4 pieces and they were so hard with very little meat and without much flavour at all! I couldn't believe that it was their signature dish.素雞 was much better as it was basically some fresh thin-sliced bean curd sheets but I would say there were too much moisture inside.油燜荀 was fresh and tasty too but was overly oily.With their signature 排骨菜飯 offering such a bad quality, it was really hard to go back despite the relatively inexpensive price.
