今日下午,我走到黎西營盤揾野食。據說,因為中環租金太貴,有此心酒吧食肆向西移到西營盤經營。行咗一陣俾我揾到一間好有「80時代feel」嘅「十字冰室」。店內座無虛席,店外有一條小人龍。我相信呢間冰室應該吾錯,所以決定食呢間野。我一邊排隊,一邊google下「十字冰室」同「十字奶」有冇關係。原來兩間野都係屬於”Lark Group”。Menu不複雜,食擇選擇尚算豐富。我揀咗食常餐,試試牛奶湯煮意粉。賣相不錯!牛奶湯夠滑夠香,意粉十分爽身。再配埋凍檸茶及炒蛋多士,好飽肚!

除了用餐出現一連串的混亂及錯誤,十字冰室還有其特色或賣點,只要員工培訓加強就好。

幸而,地點佔優,叮叮和我到附近大街小巷穿梭,一洗頹廢,換來美好假日。

十字牌帶起好多回憶,自小媽媽買朱古力奶或者牛奶都好鐘意買佢。源自小島嘅牛奶廠開冰室,水泥牆、鐵窗花、地磚,仲有霓虹招牌,一番懷舊風味。叫咗個樽裝朱古力奶,同當年嘅味道完全一樣!加埋童年回憶,更加覺得枝朱奶好飲。另外仲叫咗個芝士焗豬扒飯,炒飯底配茄汁,蕃茄汁底酸甜度剛好,本身已經好滋味,再加上豬扒較厚身,食落juicy。提一提嘅係餐廳幫襯嘅人都唔少,好彩食物上枱速度夠快,如果唔係繁忙時間真係有排等。
