西環曾有一間餐廳與亞洲最佳甜點師合作,出品美侖美奐。最近餐廳改變了方針,邀來了一名韓國廚師掌舵,餐廳頓時變得更為casual,而且價錢亦相宜了一點。 雖然主體改變了,但元素仍沒有改變,依然有多款新穎的雞尾酒,加入了生米酒的,相當清新,還有多款用上了韓國生果的Mocktail,清涼解渴。 先來個清新的Homemade Beet Cheese Ravioli, Orange Salad開始,以紅菜頭來做意大利雲舌是很創新的,皆因大廚將紅菜頭片成薄片,包上ricotta cheese,吃來特別清新,而且沙律菜非常新鮮,配合清甜的橙肉及去皮車厘茄,食慾頓時大增。 韓國人很喜歡紫菜包飯,而意大利人又喜歡西西里炸飯糰,大廚結合了兩者的做法,將牛肉餡的紫菜包飯來炸,與普通的紫菜包飯有相當大的差別。 此時,香噴噴,熱辣辣的Flatbread送來了。名為Beauty & Beef的Flatbread美味程度比預期更為美味,大廚用上1++的韓牛,特別濃香惹味,配合Homemade的芝士、火箭菜及蕃茄,令人愛不釋手。 這兒沒有主菜可點,就隨手點來Soft-shell crab。大廚用上一個巨型的yorkshire pudding盛載著炸得香脆可口的軟殼蟹,蘸上芥末調成的田園醬,香口好味。 事不宜遲,幾款意粉接腫而來,先被賣相一流的Hokkaido Uni, Korean Chili, Spaghetti所吸引,在雪白的泡沫上,放上極多的海膽,看見已令口水也流出來了。輕輕搬開奶油泡沫後,看見紅噹噹的意粉,皆因用上韓國辣椒來做,入口辛辣,混合所有食材後,辣味似有還無,鮮味十足,但卻引起大家的食慾。 另一個是Lobster Trio,不用意粉而改用稻庭烏冬,質感更為滑溜,吸收了龍蝦、櫻花蝦及蝦籽的美味,加上原隻焗龍蝦,最為引人注目,味道也令人回味。 可是,占苗最喜歡的是Roasted Pork Neck, Soybean Paste, Mafalde Pasta, Korean Cheongyang Chili,意粉的形狀相當有趣,捲曲闊身,能掛有惹味帶辣的醬汁,配合爽口的豬頸肉,好吃得停不了口。 還有一個Seafood Noodles,吃前注入龍蝦海鮮湯,邊吃邊感到那份鮮甜的滋味,還有那些煮得恰到好處的海鮮。 當大家也吃得七七八八後,胃腩也脹出來了,可是甜品始終不能少,皆因她們做的甜品既美味又有賣相。首先,焗得熱烘烘的Souffle on the Pan份量十足,入口軟綿綿的,細嚼之下,有沙沙的口感,原來是由花生糖做成。 是晚的主角還是Pop Mountain,爆谷山中心的部份是由粟米雪糕砌成,再黏上爆谷及淋上爆谷糖漿,不過精彩之處,還是灑上粉紅岩鹽,咸咸甜甜,相當美味。 continue reading

位於西環的Cobo House,是一間食物質素超高質和環境超優美的西餐廳。Cobo是Community of Bohemians的意思,每碟菜式猶如藝術品,作為文青的你,想過一晩充滿藝術感的晩上,這裡絕對適合你哦。Warm Romaine Salad $198(full portion)充滿藝術感的大沙律,賣相非常特別。沙律插著芝士片,然後放上溫泉蛋,撒上蕃茄粒,果仁碎等等,色彩繽紛,底層是我超喜歡吃的大大棵羅馬生菜和牛油果醬,熟透的羅馬生菜爽脆鮮甜,配上濕潤和香脆的配料,整體口感超豐富,大推介阿。Bulgogi Rice Rolls $188Cobo的菜式勻有點韓國元素,竟然如此,那就選一份 每到韓國餐館 必會選的飯團吧。這裡的是烤肉醬炸飯團,飯團已切成一口能吃的大小,紫菜炸得香脆,米飯黏糯,味道竟有點像中式炸蟹鉗,配蕃茄醬同吃,會更為清新哦。Beauty n Beef $328不少網友推介的韓牛薄餅,味道果然很好呢。薄餅即叫即造,帶有香濃麵粉香,偏薄香脆,放上滿滿的芝麻菜和頂級級數的1++韓牛,聞起來牛香不重,但吃起來牛香四溢,牛果濃郁,啖啖牛脂甘香,嫩滑易化,搭配甜甜的醬汁,很美味阿,若牛肉多一點就更滿足啦。Pop Mountain $188(full) $128(half)每台客人,勻有點這個爆谷雪糕山,可見它的受歡迎程度阿。雪糕弄成大山丘形狀,然後把爆谷黏緊,淋上粟米醬和撒上喜馬拉雅粉紅鹽,賣相好可愛阿。粟米醬超級濃郁香甜,大大加分。雪糕溶得頗快,大家要趕快自拍趕快吃阿。DIY $168我超喜歡吃拿破崙蛋糕,酥脆酥脆的口感,令人慾擺不能阿。這裡的拿破崙,是DIY的哦,意思是可讓客人親手自行組合,小朋友會很開心吧。六片酥皮搭配藍莓,草莓,芒果和自家製吉士醬,齊齊玩疊疊樂吧。 continue reading

Cobo House means Community of Bohemians, and it is an establishment where edible art is served.  The place itself is airy and inviting, with high ceilings and natural lighting from the full length windows.  The restaurant serves up edgy, contemporary Western-Korean cuisine that pleased both your eyes with its presentation and surprised your palate with its flavours.Soft Shelled Crab (HK$268)This is the Soft shelled crab, garden salad with Jeju Citrus Dressing and wasabi Ranch Dressing.  The crab has been lightly battered without drying out from deep fried, a perfect light crisp to the outside, succulent and full of flavour within.  The fresh garden salad was a perfect compliment on the side, while the wasabi ranch dressing gave the extra punch of kick to the dish.Beauty & Beef (HK$328)Beauty and the Beast?  Ummm.... this is Beauty & Beef!  Oven-baked Flatbread, Bulgogi Korean Beef (Beef Tenderloin 1++), Arugula with Homemade Cheese.  The most exquisite Korean beef tenderloin 1++ definitely steals the show, the char-grilled beef tenderloin was tender, juicy and marinated perfectly.  The flatbread is made with yoghurt added to give a naan-like chewy texture, with the homegrown greens help to balance the rich flavours.Hokkaido Uni, Korean Chilli, Spaghetti (HK$338)The tomato and Korean chilli base spaghetti with cream atop, garnished with Hokkaido Uni and edible flowers as final touching.  It was so creamy and saucy, the thick coating on the spaghetti made every slurp a pleasure. The Hokkaido Uni was fresh with melt-in-your-mouth buttery texture, and added that indulgence to the dish. Pop Mountain (HK$188)Sweet or Savoury? A bit of both please!  This signature dessert - Pop Mountain, made with Popcorn, Homemade Corn Ice Cream, Corn Dressing and Himalayan Pink Salt.  The grinding Himalayan pink salt sprinkled on top was just like the 'magic dust', the sweet and savoury combinations creating an interesting and magical effect to it.Each aspect has complexly arrange and nice balance, it's a treat you wouldn't want to miss!Blossom Sour (HK$88)This visual appealing Cocktail, with Vodka, Raspberry, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Korean Pomegranate Vinegar, which really does taste as good as it looks.Popcorn Cooler (HK$68)This is the Mocktail with Corn Tea Cordial, Jeju Citrus and Apple Juice Soda.  It's such a refreshing drink for summer.Door frontInteriorMenu continue reading

I think this is my best dining experience this year! The food, the environment and the environment here are very good, and I would highly recommend this place to my friends.I came here for a dinner with a friend, when we entered, the staff are very friendly and bring us to our dining table. The environment here is comfortable and chill, the food listed on the menu looks so appealing to me, they also have an iPad to show the photos of the food for the customers to refer to. For starter, we ordered the warm romaine salad. For drinks, the staff recommended us to try the bottled organic drinks. The organic drink is cold pressed juice, I tried the green apple with cucumber cold pressed juice.For the main dish, I ordered a homemade beef burger. For the deserts, we ordered their new signature dessert - Pop mountain.Warm Romaine salad has a nice presentation. At the centre of the salad, there is a soft poached egg. The salad is surrounded by avocado salsa sauce and tomatoes. It tastes fresh, I love the avocado sauce and peanuts, they enhanced the overall flavour of the salad.My burger looks very appealing. The bun is freshly made by the chef. There are some poppy seeds inside the buns. The appearance of the burger looks a bit different from the burgers I usually have. The burger is filled with beef, caramelized onion, mushrooms, and tomatoes. There is also some ketchup in it to enhance the flavour, it stimulates my appetite.There are some potato wedges next to the burger. I quite like the potato wedges as they are very crispy, some potato wedges are made with purple potato mashes. The burger is also served with some salad.The highlight of the night is the desserts - the pop mountain, it has a very nice presentation.When the dessert is served on our dining table, the staff sprinkled some Himalayan pink salt on top of the dessert. Before we started to try it, we already smell some corn smell.The Pop mountain is made with popcorn, corn ice cream, corn dressing.The ice cream has a smooth texture when it started to melt, but overall, it is a bit icy, I really love this icy texture especially during this hot weather.The corn flavour stands out, the sweetness is moderate, it tastes really good. 今日同個BFF去到呢間近排人氣餐廳, 因為都識左16年大家都對食既要求係最夾嫁啦.  又難得咁hit既餐廳都俾我地book到又真係冇得唔去試一試. 餐廳位置都算方便, 地鐵出行2分鐘左右就見到.  成間餐廳好有格調樓底好高, 坐位好寬敞加埋落地玻璃, 真係成個餐廳都好舒服. 個server俾左個menu我地可以選擇唔同既數量既courses. 我地選擇了3個courses (Appetizers, Main & Dessert) 未有野食之前有serve麵包, 嘩好playful既麵包籃呀!!咁成個餐廳既野都好colourful r.我地呢兩個main...教我如何可以捨得食左佢地呀?呢兩碟藝術品真係令我地難以動手. 呢個彩虹般既Ravioli再配埋呢個帶子天使麵, 天使麵加左帶子蟹子同食用花瓣伴碟, 成件事真係好浪漫呀真係估唔到連甜品都可以咁靚, 我地勁大鄉里咁"嘩"左出黎!! 一個raspberry chocolate 佢係好酸, 酸得黎又好醒胃!中間既pudding 令到你又酸得黎又停唔到口. 一路食食食食食...呢個raspberry 同greentea tart就絕配啦, 一個冰一個火. Greentea味濃而不苦仲要加埋咸蛋黃, 嘩! 真係好味爆燈呀...再配埋旁邊既柚子醬. 唔識形容個perfect match感覺! continue reading
