I've walked by this restaurant many times and have always been attracted by the overall ambience of the place. I decided to give this place a try because I've heard some nice things about it and saw it as a nice and seemingly fun place to have a casual lunch. While I appreciated how spacious the inside of the restaurant was, I was extremely disappointed by the food. I ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue and to my surprise, there was actually a lot of meat in the bowl which is obviously a plus since most places aren't as generous with the meat. The ratio of noodle to meat is perfect.... however, probably 70% of the beef was fat. I'm not a very picky eater and will eat almost everything even if it's fatty but this was just not tasty at all. The beef brisket had way too much fat and while I still took a bite to try, it felt almost gross and unsettling. The sliced rare beef was the same. It's okay to serve fatty beef but this one almost tasted like it had been there for a long time and had some strange aftertaste. The roasted shallots, beef balls and pork sausages were good though. While there were some good things about this noodle, I felt like the beef itself ruined the entire dish. It might just be what I had ordered but because the service was so great, I will likely try and go back some time to try some of their other dishes before I confidently say I won't go again.  continue reading

這間餐廳真的很差,又要搭枱,仲收到成港幣$110碗麵,價錢貴並不是問題,但真的很難食!喺中環越南嘢絕對有很多更好的選擇!除咗這位置比較休閒,真的想不出為何會有人再來這裏幫襯!那天是因為下大雨我才進了這間店!真的十分後悔呢!大家要小心看看他的餐牌才好進入這間餐廳,她甚至把餐牌收起來在店內才可以收看!如果大家想食越南野請向蘭桂坊或大街這邊走一走會有更多更好的選擇吧!其實點解可以煮越南麵做到這樣,湯不夠熱,牛肉沒有味道!只有那個火腩比較好一點!食了一半我已經沒有食了,立即埋單,不會再幫襯這些店舖 continue reading

一間裝修非常特別的越南餐廳,裝修刻意營造古舊復古風格,大門使用木板門,內里倉庫式原始風格使用膠凳,甚至使用汽水箱作椅子。還有我在越南經常看到的越南法包手推車,而且使用全越南文的餐牌和涂鴉,實在很像身處越南,老板花了很多心思在裝修上。點了越南牛肉什錦濱粉,賣相跟外面的越南粉有點不一樣。湯底不是傳統越南豬骨湯底味道,而是加了辣的元素有點像喇沙湯底而且口感很吸引你把整碗湯喝下。而且最喜歡有幾乎是全生的高質牛肉在內,還有一大塊牛筋腩,牛丸和越南魚卷。雖然配的不是越南河粉而是濱粉,但無損這碗粉的品質。最后整碗粉連湯全吃光。不過价格實在太貴,118+1要130元。這性價比實在太低,是越南同類食物的6-7倍價格。 continue reading

呢間越南餐廳由外到內裝修都好地道嘅越南風格工業風水泥牆身假日嘅中午嚟呢度無咩人見到Menu都全越南文加英文無頭緒之下叫左三樣菜式試下- Bún Thái越式湯粉湯底係酸酸地微辣滿滿嘅魚露味幾清甜配上蝦 牛肉 魷魚 豬肉丸麵底係米線質地順滑唔會過腍蝦貼心地去左殼除左豬肉丸食落juicy比較出色之外其他就不過不失- Bánh ướt 越南粉卷係香港比較少見到係越式小食黎以米漿製成嘅粉皮加入扎肉 芽菜 青瓜 炸蒜 花生等等嘅配料淋上酸酸甜甜嘅魚露汁食落好開胃粉皮滑嘟嘟咁幾新鮮- Bánh Mì 法包呢個真係估佢唔到咁好食真係要一讚!法包烘到好脆口 搽左豬肝醬夾左酸蘿蔔 芫茜 青瓜 扎肉材料非常豐富 仲加埋荷包蛋真係好出色 食材好夾有驚喜完全唔會有膩嘅感覺🤤不過價錢就略貴 continue reading

When it comes to comfort food, beside spicy food it will always been noodle in soup ! I don't only love the food here, but also the decoration, although the store is small and have only limited seats but it will make you feel the you situated in Vietnam ! As a started I had ordered their spring roll, which is made out of pork and taro. The crispy skin with a soft taro paste and a little bit of pork texture. I personally didn't really fancy taro in my spring rolls. Yet, on the upside this was not super oily like you feel the greasiness. Rosted lemongrass chicken with cold noodle, got me a little surprise. The noodle texture was perfect, it was a little chewy ! I love the sauce that goes with the noodle, it was a little sour and spicy, was not too over the top ! if you are looking for a refreshing option, this is for sure the one you should choose ! this is perfect for summer ! My usual order is always their number two on the menu, their beef noodle. Yes when you read the ingredients you may have the same feeling... pineapple in my noodle how weird is that ? but actually it was perfect, it gave. little natural sweet note in the noodle, which increase the beef flavour in a good way. I love their soup base it was clear with a strong beef aroma and it gave a clean palette finishing. its light a flavourful !  continue reading
