竹園海鮮飯店,是一家由我老爸推介,在80-90年代十分紅的海鮮餐廳。跑馬地感覺專營街坊生意,地方整潔,服務態度有善,沒有一些傳統老店的惡習。由於一早已訂位,報上名號就順利入座。甫入座,服務員馬上送上炸魚仔花生、清湯蘿蔔及一壺熱竹蔗茅根,之後就可以去餐館外的海鮮缸即點即撈。當晚點了 - 清蒸東星斑、芝士牛油焗本地龍蝦烏冬底、清蒸扇貝、豉椒炒蟶子、蒜蓉粉絲蒸貴妃蚌及砵酒桶蠔。點完海鮮回到座位可回其他菜式,當晚點了紅燒乳鴿、臘味糯米飯等1斤5兩的東星斑,竹園蒸魚的火候掌握得十分好,魚肉熟度剛好蟶子十分新鮮,豉椒味道不會太濃,重點係熟成度剛好,爽而不韌重頭戲,芝士牛油焗龍蝦烏冬底,醬汁味道濃郁,本地龍蝦爽口彈牙,烏冬加上醬汁不會太膩(當然荷包夠深可以選澳洲龍蝦,肉多味濃,波士頓反而不推。不吃龍蝦我也有選用老虎蝦開邊,味道都非常好。)都係個一句,火候掌控一流,熟成度十分好,粉絲只用海鹽吊味,味道剛剛好不過不失,個蠔個心還是半熟嫩口驚喜之作,蝦多士炸至金黃色,鬆脆可口不油膩,蝦肉也爽口總括而言,物有所值,對食物的火候掌控,蒸炒煮炸都掌控十分得宜。紅燒乳鴿就一般,但臘味糯米飯係炒得顆粒分明,值得一試 continue reading

從來無試過係跑馬地食點心,真係喜出望外。最鐘意食鳳爪既特,終於搵到間夠味足料既啦,睇我影張相就見到d鳳爪份量夠又肥美。棉花雞又夠滑。原本叫左兩個人叫左六個點心既,點知佢地應該溜左單,最後上左四個點心我地就已經覺得飽啦,所以都無追返無黎既點心。食完仲有糖水送,真係覺得好低食,賣單都係$160,如果我唔係趕時間都想係個度嘆多陣茶,佢地又唔會趕客。見到d侍應都做待好開心,臉有笑容,雖然攞左個茶壺去加水後,要我提返先攞返返黎,但佢地會講唔好意思,所以都可以接受。 continue reading

今年跟教友的新春聯宜不太齊人,照樣團拜一番,餸菜亦不會叫得太多。新春喜慶,先來客炸蟹鉗,熱熱鬧鬧。炸蟹鉗的啖啖肉,蟹味豐足,一人一隻大小適中。 脆皮炸子雞的皮確實夠脆,雞肉嫩而少油脂,無須唧檸檬汁單點淮鹽已是整盡惹味之能事。不知是蟹肉還是蛋白的東西扒在西蘭花之上,總之是又清又滑,是一道秒速激殺的妙品。干燒伊麵做得好,條條伊麵索汁入味兼且不油,是小人在茶樓吃到難得的乾身。水晶包都有不同款式,小人各試了一粒,餡料果然有別,甜度令人接受。喜慶的團拜餐。 continue reading

在跑馬地區要找一間有海鮮又有鑊氣小炒的飯店, 提議去 竹園海鮮飯店.  此間老店食物及價錢都實際, 不乏街坊捧場客.  無論星期一至日,  都座無虛席, 所以先要訂位.  茶連芥醬每位@$16-, 提供兩客免費小食, 花生炸魚仔, 卜卜脆,白蘿蔔, 很香稔, 也不錯.我們點了 扇貝 @$50.  新鮮肉嫩,  蒜香味濃, 蒸得時間剛剛好. 蒜炒蟶子皇@$80,  只賣淨三隻.蟶子皇肉厚, 味鮮彈牙, 真討好 !!瑤柱扒豆苗 $148-豆苗炒得滑而香口, 瑤柱連醬汁調味好,  也不太油.紅燒螺頭, $208-.炆得稔而軟, 有鑊氣, 味道適中.  配料洋蔥及蔥頭, 爆得勁香口.椒絲蔥菜炒牛肉 $118-出品熱辣, 薑葱香口, 牛肉絲則屬中規中矩, 沒驚喜.生炒乳鴿崧 $168-乳鴿崧份量多, 連同小薄脆, 感覺炒得更香口, 生菜選揀得好, 新鮮爽嫩. 配醬味道適中.  yummy!  蝦籽柚皮 $98-柚皮很稔夠入味, 不過份量略少, 蝦籽也不多, 水準只屬平均.白飯 @$12-對食物滿意, 服務合格, 價錢合理, 座位較迫,  但都值得再來. continue reading
