搬o左新舖第一次去清亭,大o左好多,等位亦唔駛咁耐,更加唔駛再過對面樓。由於家陣習慣星期日唔食咁多o野,所以晚餐同太太只選一個四件牛油雞翼同烤牛肉凍檬就算。今晚個檬o係水準之內,牛油雞翼雖然一如過往咁好味,但其中一隻就縮o左水,未夠過癮。地方就比以前鬆動闊落,有進步啦! continue reading

早兩日去食,發現搬了新鋪,舊舖門口有阿姐帶路,果然週到。上了樓上舖位,就見番青亭門口的靚姐。清亭和燕萍終於二合為一,地方濶落了很多,感覺也較清潔,口味依然是清亭的品質。和老婆二人,點了牛油雞翼、馬拉盞通菜、生牛肉河、豬肉粉卷,一樣咁好味。飲品要青檸可樂、咸檸梳打。埋單$180幾,幾滿意。唯一不滿意的就係阿嬋放低張單時粒聲唔出,用手指在張單上的銀碼'督'幾下,好似叫你速速磅水咁。幫襯咁多年,都係第一次遇到咁既阿嬋。 continue reading

清亭同燕萍相比, 我個人而言較鍾意清亭多0的~琴晚又同好友0黎幫襯, 大家叫左生牛檬同生牛河~ 成碗都幾好味~ 我地又叫左牛油雞翼, 呢個0黎到熱辣辣又夠大隻, 唯一覺得佢唔夠牛油味囉, 如果重0黎會好味0的環境其實幾迫咖, 多人0既時候都好嘈, 呢度適宜食快餐, 因為唔坐得耐嘛!! 而服務整體0黎講一般囉, 無惡言相向亦都無禮貌至上=P continue reading

The first time I dined at Ching Ting with an American friend I left somewhat disappointed. I might have had my hopes too high. I found the food generally bland, 賣相ma ma, though I guess you get what you pay for. We arrived before rush hour and the service was acceptable. They even got us a waiter who speaks English well (we communicated in Cantonese anyway). Gets very crowded by 7:30pm and it became impossible to hear each other. Below are some thoughts on what we ordered...蒸扎肉: pretty much tasteless春卷: ok la,不過不失牛油雞翼: big, crispy and steaming hot, though as expected greasy and rather flavorless in the flesh. Still worth a try if you don't mind the calories.腐乳炒通菜: blah, didn't have much "獲"氣. Not very fresh-looking or appetizing. My friend gobbled most of it though.烤豬肉撈檬: truly disappointing! I've had much better 撈檬even at small 茶餐廳elsewhere. It came only with a handful of dry, shriveled crumbs of pork; the sauce did not help either. Instead of a jar they give you this teeny portion of watered down and tasteless liquid that didn't come with any of the garlic and stuff that I craved for.Overall, I think that this restaurant would easily pass for an ordinary quick fix but just don't expect it to be any different from regular 茶餐廳s. It is important to note, however, that the second time I dined here with friends we were seated upstairs - what an entirely different experience! The ambience was much better and more relaxed.
