好耐無搵舅母食飯喇,唔喺佢唔得閒,就輪到我唔得閒,對上嗰次已經喺好幾年前嘅事,雖然間唔時傾吓電話講兩句,談談近況,但點都要久唔久見個面。故此,加埋幾個家人,就番佢食齋嘅習慣,揀咗晌南蓮園池裡面嘅志蓮素齋 。聽到瀑布水聲就個離餐廳不遠,其實,整個南蓮園池都好好環境,就算夜晚嚟,餐廳外嘅瀑布、水車景,加埋燈光,都好靚,而餐廳入口就繞過瀑布另一邊就喺喇 。餐廳環境佈置得頗為樸素、平實,右邊有一截喺落地玻璃,對着瀑布,可以望住水花四濺地飛躍;另一邊,櫃位後放有唔少古玩(相片從缺),顯出絲絲雅氣。整體而言,就喺有一份祥和感,無任何俗氣嘅裝飾 。本身都打算食早啲,但打去訂枱時,周日晚市需要分時段:6:00pm-7:15pm或7:30pm-9:00pm,但第一輪太早交枱喇,所以,揀第二輪,7:30pm都仍然算早。實際上,佢哋晚市營業時間都只喺6:00pm-9:00pm!菜式方面,包括前菜、4人餐、8人餐、廚師時令推介小炒、湯品、粥粉麵飯、點心、甜品、飲品,3張A4紙清楚列晒出嚟,列明不含肉或蛋成份,樣樣都喺健康嘢。順道一提,從餐牌所見,佢哋所用嘅醬料喺本地老字號九龍醬園嘅出品,食鹽則採用喜瑪拉雅山岩鹽,食糖就會部份甜品選用意大利果糖,而食材更以時令野生珍菌入饌,可見其對健康嘅注重,對用料嘅執著 。 芙蓉銀耳羹 $120 / 窩 我哋一行5人,例牌只夠兩三人,所以叫一窩,大概都喺分到6碗多少少。以上湯混入鮮竹、銀耳、金菇、直菇所做,外觀有啲似素翅,所有食材都切得非常幼細,口感幾好,唔會太餬,亦唔會太稀,但喺薑味偏重,舅母話驅寒好。 蒸菜包 $35 / 3件 西式餐湯就會跟個麵包籃,中式當然唔興依家嘢,所以點個蒸包襯吓。一客3件蒸菜包,即叫即蒸,新鮮熱辣,內餡主要喺菜粒、冬菇同水根,水根喺乜?我都唔知,大抵喺啲靶菜根部。同樣,餡料刴到細碎,好有菇香,而包身十分軟綿,當然,比起去酒樓食籠菜肉包就肯定有啲貴喇。 金菇菜苗餃 $35 / 3件 原意喺想試一籠百合露筍松露餃,一籠金菇菜苗餃,但前者賣晒,所以,叫夠兩籠金菇菜苗餃。餃餡好簡單,就喺金菇、菜蔬,但已睇到師傅手功,餡料依然切得認真無迤做,餃皮既薄且透,咬落煙韌唔易爛,味道調得啱啱好。 松茸珊瑚醬豆腐煲 $98 / 例 鮮松茸配豆腐,食材健康新鮮,而且,啲豆腐真喺好嫩滑,用上珊瑚醬去做,小弟見識淺,都喺第一次聽到珊瑚醬依樣嘢,令整道菜都惹味唔少,個汁底撈飯亦都正。 菠蘿咕嚕麥纖 $88 菠蘿咕嚕菜式唔使多介紹,出面就算齋鋪做都比較味濃,但依道就做得輕怡得多,個咕嚕酸甜醬薄薄咁掛住,唔會有多餘嘅汁醬,又唔嗆喉,而麥纖有別常食嘅麵筋之類,硬身較有咬口,更混有唔少鮮菠蘿、酸蘿蔔、三色椒,唔會只得麥纖咁單調,不愧喺廚師推介菜式。 黃油牛肝菌豆腐 $110 再嚟多一道豆腐配野菌嘅菜式,不過,依款豆腐就先泡油再炆煮。牛肝菌聽得多又食過,黃油菌應該喺第一次食,兩隻菇都好香,豆腐入口同樣嫩滑,醬汁香濃。 醬燒秋葵座頭菇 $105 雖則話食素,但一啲都唔「齋」(寡),因為好幾道菜個汁底都頗惹味,就如依一道咁,以金醬、九層塔、紫菜炒秋葵及座頭菇,前者滑潺潺,後者爽爽脆,兩者都喺有益健康蔬菜。 地衣牛肝菌白玉炒飯 $138 白粥、香飯$18碗,不如點個炒飯,睇餐牌時就心儀依一款炒飯,貪其材料多,有地衣藻、牛肝菌、白本菇、松子、鮮竹,炒出嚟大大碟好對辦,鑊氣十足,飯粒分明,又有松子增加口感。雖然唔收茶芥,更免加一,不過,無論午市 、下午茶、抑或晚市,都設有每人最低消費。而且,落單後,店員都會打張「飛仔」俾你,提提差幾多先到最低消費額,咁客人就唔使擔心白蝕。其實,以佢咁嘅定價,都好易過 。志蓮素齋環境清幽,嚟得依度食素嘅人亦唔會嘈喧巴閉,菜式亦做得有心機,價位比出面一般素菜館相若,所以,揀嚟同家人食飯實屬明智之舉! continue reading

我不太懂中式素食,不會初一十五忽然禮佛吃素,也不會趕潮流愛上raw food,偶然茹素視作清腸胃,或因應親友飯聚;當然,地球要愛護,動物權益也要關注,多菜少肉始終是健康飲食之道.曾經,只是曾經,想成為素食者,堅持了兩星期,還是放棄了..是次生日飯聚,適逢初一,壽星仔乃佛教徒,提議位於南蓮園池內的志蓮素齋.久仰大名,得悉其點心城中至為出色,一直無緣光顧,隔隣茶舍反而嚐了多趟,品茗之餘試過幾款點心.志蓮靜苑仿唐建築佈局,環境優雅靜䀄,庭園美景花木扶疏,為鬧市中不可多得綠洲;可是齋館非如想像中雅緻,一般中式飯館模樣,桌椅排得頗為迫挾,人聲跌盪帶點嘈雜.週日晚分兩塲,我們訂六時,七時十五分便要交枱,點得菜又上得桌來,前扣後減..吃得急趕,儼如跟時間競賽,心緖不怎安寧.免得花時間細閱菜單,我們點了個四人套餐($788)就是了.項目如下:{和風赤膠耳} - 冷盤,產自雲南的赤膠耳伴入柚子芝麻醬,口感滑溜具豐富膠質,味道全以醬汁而來.{香麻羊肚耳青瓜花苗} - 羊肚耳又稱白木耳或珍珠菌,而青瓜花苗小巧可愛,瓜身脆嫰,兩者調以花椒和辣醬,麻香微辣,教人印象深刻的涼拌小吃.{真菌八寶羹} - 竹笙,金針菜,雪耳,金菇,杏鮑菇,雲耳和薑絲,材料豐富多様,口感有點港式碗仔翅模樣,味道偏淡.{菠蘿咕嚕花菜菌} - 以'素中葷'猴頭菇酥炸後,加入菠蘿,酸蘿蔔和青紅椒,再調以糖醋,味道不賴,口感造型跟葷菜相像,當然這樣形容不大恰當,亦非廚師原意吧.{酥炸丹松拼酥炸海苔卷} - 其中一款為丹松以海苔包裹,丹松是否松茸一種,不甚清楚,味道不似松茸濃郁豐富;另腐皮捲以冬菇,水根,馬碲,海苔;兩者炸脆後均可醮以喼汁進食.{金孢繡球豆腐煲} - 金孢籽意指蟲草花,繡球原材料菇菌品種不詳,應該不是採用"萬菌之王"具珍貴藥用及美容價值的繍球菌吧?所有食材加入豆腐烹煑,顏色偏黃味道模糊,印象不深.{田蔬百合鮮黃耳} - 黃耳為中國三菇六耳珍菌之一,含豐富果膠,微帶花香,口感綿糯;以瓜段,百合加入鮮黃耳小炒,略嫌有點溫吞不夠鑊氣.{牛肝菌炒飯} - 以牛肝菌,松子,鮮竹,菜粒炒飯,米飯粒粒分明,味寡淡,嚐不出牛肝菌獨特香氣.{蒸素菜包}($35/3件) - 冬菇,水根,時蔬作饀,柔和清新,果然素包點水準最為上乘.{15年陳皮紅豆沙}($65 each) - 朋友推薦紅豆沙,說是不可錯過;紅豆煲至起沙,嚐出淡淡陳皮味道,不過乃基本應有水平,未至神物.  可能基於宗教背景關係,禁五辛防催淫增慾,因此菜餚味道大抵淡薄,以食材原味為主軸.我等凡夫俗子味蕾感觀早已退化污染,一時三刻未能嚐出珍味,悟出真髓..也許時機未到,一切隨緣. continue reading

來龍門樓食晚飯一定要book位,我在到達龍門樓前半小時曾致電訂位,可是他們告訴我已經訂座已滿只能walk-in。我只好過來等等,因為爸爸媽媽從澳洲來香港又適逢初一,其實等下亦無防。當然我已最快的行動在距離我致電訂位不到半小時已到達,當我告訴接待員我沒有訂坐只是walk in,她告訴我沒有位了walk in 都無位了。因為巳沒有tickets,😰其實有點失望⋯⋯沒想到walk in 的意思是這樣! continue reading

今日係六月初一........正值星期六......我可以收工之後去公司附近嘅鑽石山行一陣........跟住再去志蓮淨苑食返餐清新嘅素宴......平時好少一個人食飯....但係去志蓮淨苑.....我通常選擇一個人.....因為可以靜靜地俾你食餐飯......然後靜靜地俾你沉思一下.....好等你可以洗滌心靈.....清新自然一番尼個簡直係志蓮淨苑嘅標誌.....🌹🌹🌹雖然今日係落雨天.....但係當你一個人靜靜地行逛呢個鬧市中嘅綠洲.....你會感到悠閑自息....思維嘅環境.....俾你可以重新思考自己嘅方向.....行到攰.....又可以入去食返餐出邊食唔到嘅齊宴.....因為今日初一....所以好多人去排隊今日我揀咗一個人嘅套餐.....雖然價錢唔係平.....但係可以洗滌下心靈.....都算值得嘅....首先來一個清潤嘅湯.....不如一次過影晒五碟小碟俾你地睇.....雖然你見到有五碟餸但係其實份量好少.....一個人食啱啱好最後黎一個飯後果作結尾......食完之後你仲可以慢慢遊下公園千祈唔好唔記得過去正殿拜佛祖和各位菩薩......而且志蓮淨苑裏面仲有一間買紀念品.....佛具.....和各種佛教書籍......真係一個假期嘅好去處 continue reading

Being a meat lover, I did not expect too much from a vegetarian meal. But I was in for a nice surprise. Each of the dish were extremely well-seasoned which made up for the fact that there was no meat. The food served here is not simple stir-fried veg. Many of the dishes used ingredients I have never eaten before and the meal was genuinely enjoyable. It was also nice that we could order a set meal for 2 and shared it between 3 people. The portions were enough for us but only because we had an early unplanned dinner here. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Nan Lian garden. continue reading
