Chalet, a cozy place for dine
The name “Chalet” means the wooden dwelling with a low-pitched roof and wide eaves which is common in Alpine regions. Through the name of the restaurant, representing the whole style of the shop!
With the wooden decoration throughout the whole restaurant, it makes you have a cozy feeling like staying in the European country. Several areas with different decoration provide you a variety of dining experience. It would definitely a nice place for photo taking, enjoying a fine dining time for all the food lovers.

Apart from the relaxing atmosphere, the Chef is trying the best to introduce you a wonderful western cuisine combined with high quality food ingredients. The must try items included: the amazing Seared Smoked Duck Breast with Sweet Potato and Red Wine Sauce, the super-size Grilled Australian Wagyu Tomahawk(M4)38oz, the fusion-style Hokkaido Crab Meat Risotto and the special Mocktail with a lovely name “Girls Generation”, etc.

位於荃灣青山公路金荃大廈地下B舖的Chalet, 主打西餐。可以從愉景新城走行人天橋到餐廳,位置方便。餐廳的氣氛浪漫,頗適合情侶來這裡用餐。和朋友點了Set Dinner, 加一後約三百元一位,以餐廳的氣氛及食物質素來計算,不算太貴。是日餐湯 Soup of the Day 今次的餐湯是周打魚湯,熱騰騰的,有洋蔥條,更有少許香草碎在面頭。麵包小麥味香濃,口感軟熟。頭盤是香煎半熟呑拿魚伴三文魚子 Tuna Tataki with Salmon Roe三文魚子卜卜脆,輕輕咬爆魚子,魚子在口腔內爆發,味道十分濃郁,頗開胃。呑拿魚的外面煎得微脆,更合嚐到淡淡的煙燻味,味道也不錯。主菜一:傳統法式油封鴨腿配芒果莎莎French Duck Leg Confit with Mango Salsa朋友點了這款主菜,賣相頗精緻。油封鴨腿是用鹽和鴨油用低溫小火慢慢煮熟,外皮夠脆夠香口,如果鴨肉再嫩滑一點,味道會更好。朋友十分喜歡芒果莎莎醬,用鮮芒果肉而成,味道清新,能平衡肉的膩感。主菜二:傳統美式BBQ醬烤豬肋骨Grilled Pork Ribs in BBQ Sauce這款豬肋骨份量很多,兩個女孩子分享也夠吃。醬汁很充足,每一口肉都有醬汁伴著,味道是酸酸甜甜的。肉是離骨的,所以吃得很方便,底下還有些薯仔墊底。甜品:奶凍奶凍口感滑溜,而且有少許士多啤梨醬,令整體味道更豐富。 continue reading

呢一日想俾少少驚喜女朋友, 帶佢黎到我地比較陌生既荃灣食好西!一黎到見到門口有精緻既裝修, 望入去滿是期待!餐廳內暗淡燈光配合木屋裝修, 據說是原於瑞士小屋的主題! 而啡色sofa坐得我超舒服!二話不說先點餐湯。我點的是洋蔥忌廉湯。洋蔥湯稠度非常適中。配合新鮮出爐麵包, 確有置身瑞士小屋之感!女朋友點的是周打魚湯, 我見魚湯用料豐富, 想不到湯中魚肉粒粒!瑞士接壤法國邊界, 小屋當然小不了法式鵝肝菜色。此乃鵝肝配蘋果蓉~鵝肝含有極豐富脂肪, 配搭蘋果蓉非常聰明, 一試難忘!主菜方面, 我們先點的是麵包蟹意大利飯。遠看看似平平無奇, 嚐下一口你就知道原來麵包蟹的蟹膏全都混合了意大利飯內。不是一般意大利飯可比較。最後點的是法式海龍王。賣相滿有南歐風味。稍稍看看用料, 毫不馬虎。先吃味道最清的帶子, 喝一口香濃龍蝦湯;吃一隻青口, 又喝一口甜美龍蝦湯;再吃一口白沙大蜆, 又再喝一口新鮮龍蝦湯。吃得不能自拔。還有魚柳, 蟹鉗, 半隻龍蝦! 海龍王深不見底!佩服!也許將來一定會再到!好吃! continue reading

星期五晚去咗荃灣呢間西餐廳食飯,比想像中驚喜很多,嗌左兩個dinner set,有前菜、湯、包、主菜、甜品,食落由前菜滿意到甜品😍值得推薦比大家!店舖裝修乾淨企理,入面仲有梳化位、飲野都一流Dinner set 既前菜 香煎吞拿魚配三文魚子前菜上碟精緻,吞拿魚肉質嫩滑,鮮味突出,配埋三文魚子更加鮮,開胃前菜之後就係忌廉蘑菇湯同埋餐包蘑菇湯煮得creamy,菇味十足,用黎點包都好好食,個包係外脆內軟烘過架,幾crispy!主菜黎啦,嗌咗個法國燒春雞同美國豬肋骨,都幾大份,食到飽!!依個豬肋骨真心正!真心要推薦!must order item!! 係我食過數一數工好食既豬肋骨!個豬肋骨炆得超級淋,肉質又無過熟鞋拾拾,炆得十分入味,酸酸甜甜既汁,真係又開胃又lamlam脷😋之後就係地中海汁燒春雞配松子仁粟子蓉喇,地中海汁食到小小酸,但隻雞本身已經好夠味,比較鐘意唔斟醬汁既原汁原味!首先隻雞燒到雞皮香脆,雞肉嫩滑多汁。仲食到仲保持到肉汁既燒雞,好滿足最後就係甜品啦,係麵包布丁啊!依個麵包布丁又係好好食,外皮真係脆脆的,裡面嘅布丁部份軟綿綿食落口感一流,完全唔係馬虎既set甜品Dinner set $268,食物質素完全對得住個價錢,值得試❤️ 值得一讚仲有服務都好好,職員收碟速度快,上菜前仲會講一講嗌左咩! continue reading

It’s really hard to find a decent restaurant that is not overly crowded in Tsuen Wan, but Chalet is a great place for date night in the area✨We chose the outer area where bar tables and tall chairs were set up by the large glass windows. It’s pretty calming to watch the streets while eating.We had some Japanese scallops for starters. The scallops were soaked in some sour & spicy sauce, giving it an exciting flavour. The scallops were very fresh as well.As a the main course, I went for US Prime Tenderloin & Jumbo Prawn, and I had the cheese fries for sides.The steak was medium rare so it had a perfect pinkish interior when cut. The meat was tender and juicy though there’s some overcooked bits on the edge. The prawn was huge in size and it’s yummy! The cheese fries were AMAZING!! Completely dipped in cheese, the fries were still crispy till the very end of the meal. The cheese was absolutely delicious. Wish I’d gone for the normal portion instead of a side dish! Also, this restaurant has got a pretty decent wine list! Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place for a romantic night out in Tsuen Wan🥂 continue reading

Happy Friday 商場永遠人多,幫襯小店係不二之選。Set Dinner ($268 / 位)意大利雜菜湯並非一般西餐廳用大量茄膏煮的雜菜湯,而係用上極大量蔬菜餚煮,口感、味道皆出色。煙三文魚薄片並非選用下價貨。煙三文魚油脂豐富。傳統豬面頰肉卡邦尼意粉意粉做到 Al Dente, 蛋黃忌廉汁好香濃、好Creamy, 以豬面頰肉代替一般煙腩,少了一份油膩感,但鹹香依然。摩洛哥醬香烤法國白春雞醬汁微辣中帶一點點酸味。皮香肉滑,啖啖肉。燒雞三大要素: 一要香脆,二要入味,三要多汁。呢度完全符合以上三個條件,而且醃製拿捏得剛剛好。麵包布甸表面焗到少少焦香,內裡嫩滑。雲呢拿汁甜味剛剛好。 continue reading
