位於大埔道東廬大廈內的中央飯店,至今已有61年,它沒有富麗堂皇的裝飾,仍保存著用手推車的方式叫點心,不單是大部分員工都在此工作了數十年,連食客也是多年擁躉,每天都在此一盅兩件,就如老朋友一樣。今天到此品嚐一頓午餐,伙記很醒目快捷的招呼你坐下,然後奉上濃濃的茶,比起時下的酒樓改用茶包,你會覺得用茶葉泡的茶是特別香濃有茶味,接著的便叫了幾款點心,山竹牛肉除了大件外,配上喼汁食下去,香軟和滑,蝦餃的皮略厚,但餡料十足而且有汁,蝦肉彈牙,雞包仔比其他酒樓的包點大,餡料多,還有就是豉汁鳳爪,非常入味,而且有花生墊底,除了點心,還叫了一道雪菜肉絲炆米,第一料足,而每一啖的米粉都多汁和有雪菜味,所以這一餐吃得很滿足,價錢相對其他酒樓就算很便宜,可以用大眾化價錢享用經濟實惠的午餐,不妨去試試。

Centre Restaurant, established in 1961, is an traditional Cantonese restaurant with dim sum carts. This time we went there for dinner. The price was cheap in general. Most dishes were below $100 in big portions. Five-Willow Fish was perfectly cooked. $75 for half of a fish, head or tail part of your choice. The sauce was vinegary and not too sweet. Dinner ended with a bowl of complementary red bean soup, which was really delicious. The chenpi taste was pretty strong. The red beans had totally dissolved, leaving a thick texture in the sweet soup.

平時去搵屋企人飲茶,間唔中都會去中央飯店同佢地食。一見到出面就知道間酒樓好有歷史啦,星期六去都唔係太多人,可能真係太隱蔽。搵位坐低咗之後,發現張枱係冇點心紙,即係得阿姐喺樓面推住架車喺度嗌。好多酒樓都冇嘅燒腩卷,呢度就有,而且味道唔錯。另外佢嘅鳳爪調味都幾好,令人齒頰留香。不過嗌肉片泰式炒麵,啲肉片就太老,同有陣味。但有啲餸真係得呢啲舊式酒樓先整得出呢啲味道。希望平日呢間酒樓會有多啲人去啦,因為星期六係全日統一價錢。而平日有早點同下午茶。

舊地重遊 -「石硤尾」一間仲有推點心車嘅酒樓,應該有成廿幾年冇去過,以前細個就成日去飲茶,…… 原本諗住重溫一下佢個「西米焗布甸」同「灌湯餃」,點知阿姐話焗布甸要11:00am後先有,唯有下次先再試😊 而灌湯餃就已經消失咗喺點心紙好耐喇!牛肉腸+鳳爪+咸水角連茶錢加一合共六十四蚊,味道唔好期望太高,合格而已,不過啲點心算大件。環境就唔會好乾淨,但嚟得都預咗。反而我覺得服務唔錯喎,街坊生意,阿姐見我生客,都有主動推介幾款點心俾我😊

五月前後來過兩次, 一次食晚餐另一次食午餐飲茶。兩次一齊寫食評, 先講晚餐30/April, 叫咗一個四喜拼盤。呢個拼盤size 的確好大足夠6至8人份量。但我們只得四個人。所以再叫一個中式牛柳& 蝦醬炒通菜已經好足夠了, 中式牛柳同通菜味道傳統, 蝦醬可能因為配合現代人口味稍稍淡味不過都ok啦. 要講講的反而係呢個四喜昇拼, 除咗size夠大之外因為全部都係油炸食物, 其實應該塔起碼有6人或以上先好叫, 食要求有速度因為食物在冷氣房間會好快降溫, 其中炸大腸同魷魚係最好食, 跟住係炸豬扒不過呢d巴西豬扒一般較瘦, 同”元朗冰室” 嗰d唔可以比較, 另一個炸豬雜就相當之因人而異, 始終係內臟料理.而另一次飲茶則只能說一般吧, 始終點心係預先整好的, 包會有倒汗水, 腸粉皮係細路哥那時食的厚皮口感,  味道係同幾十年前吃的一樣, 叫埋”乾炒油河”結尾, 當日飲茶唯一最好食嘅就係呢碟"乾炒牛河"無可否認嘅係呢度食飯無論日與晚都係好經濟。好啱屋企唔開飯嘅街坊嚟

春卷,咸水角係凍既,唔熱🙃

排骨腸粉係上下一堆排骨,下面一堆腸粉,唔係腸粉包排骨,腸粉蒸得好透,一夾就散

豬骨粥多到就滿瀉,但味就有d淡,得好淡咸味,無咩豬骨同菜乾味🤨

叫點心時,職員好熱情,係咁講多謝哂

點心賣晒時又會耐心解釋

今次食中午12點幾煎腸粉同西米布甸已經賣晒

同行覺得食物好普通,連鎖好食好多,我就覺得正常,都係咁上下,唔覺連鎖既好食d

同兩個朋友相約飯聚而這店是小學時每天都經過嘅地點。講的是80年代頭, 那時從沒入過去, 幾十年後嘅今日來到。門口依然係一樣, 同當年腦海中記憶沒大分別。餐牌係一本深褐色膠皮做的幾頁紙。而推介的菜式則是貼在牆上的精美過膠印刷品。值得推介的有炸大腸, 炸得乾脆而且腸壁沒有半點肥羔。沒有肥羔這點應該是供應商的功勞,深橙紅色的色準相當高。現在很多店做呢個菜嘅顏色相當参次。瑤柱馬蹄蒸肉餅也相當有水準。蜜餞合桃黑椒牛仔粒, 炸合桃本身就特別討人歡心。而牛肉不是粒是一件件的更有本地風味。東江雞半隻份量十足, 同上次在九龍灣那間什麼名廚開的圍村菜份量比是天與地呵。同樣半只雞。大概那只是春雞吧!不過來這裡要注意的是佢地可能比一般店早打烊,9點半左右已經見員工有動靜開始密密收碟。明白嘅,作為員工想盡可能早點回家嘅心態。

喺香港地小人多嘅環境之下,舊式茶樓真係買少見少,依家去茶樓仲邊度見到阿姐推車仔叫咖之前book mark左石硤尾嘅中央飯店,想食好耐㗎啦,但係因為疫情嘅關係,諗住等疫情好少少嘅時候先去食近排見疫情冇咁嚴峻,終於都的起心肝去試吓入到去茶樓嘅裝修,真係好有舊式茶樓嘅風味,仲見到阿姐推住點心車喺度叫,有親切咁呢不過唔知係咪太遲去,基本上啲點心都賣晒,阿姐亦都話做輪,唔再出點心,叫黎叫去都係嗰兩款所以試唔到啲咩好傷心燒賣好大粒,裏面有大大粒嘅新鮮蝦半肥瘦豬肉新鮮彈牙,幾好食排骨唔會有好多肥豬肉,一樣都幾新鮮,好多湯汁
