No seriously: why? Sheung Wan has no shortage of amazing food from Chinese to Western to Indian to fast food, even. Why this mediocre, wannnabe Western pretend healthy cafe? The drinks are rubbish and overpriced. The food is consistently bland and unremarkable in almost every way (I mean it's actually pretty remarkable how good it looks but how much it lacks in taste. That's a little impressive). And the service is usually pretty poor (not very attentive, not detail oriented, etc). So no, I don't quite get why people continue to frequent this subpar eatery. Life is too short to eat pretty food that tastes like nothing.Aside from the food not tasting like very much, I also observed:- prices are reasonable but considering food doesn't taste great, would recommend going elsewhere. For example the prawn quinoa yuzu was tough to eat. The prawn was dry making it hard to remove the shell. The quinoa was just tasteless though doused in a citrusy sauce. - I've had many meals and casual drinks at this location.
