本人不是打邊爐愛好者,不過一年都會有一兩次。今日放工成班同事一齊去尼間打邊爐,記得兩年前試過,不過無咩印象有咩好食,今次再試真d,點左手切肥牛(安格斯),好新鮮,牛肉好味,同事們都話牛肉好正,有牛味,無根,所以再點第二碟,雖然價錢比一般打邊爐貴但物有所值,價錢同食物,環境,服務成正比,係值得試的!仲有個響鈴係新鮮炸架!唔同一般係現成,所以食落口係好味好多,食菜全部都好新鮮,應該係甘,所以總括唔錯! continue reading

First, we called the restaurant to book the place beforehand and the answer we got over the phone was "all full la". However, when we arrived at Times Square and decided to check it out anyway, we saw the place was half empty actually. So we just "walked in" within 5 minutes.Then, we were stunned by the appalling service:First, no one could explain to us our questions on the confusing menu and prices. Seriously, when you offer so many different combinations/prices on more than one menu, you'd expect questions from customers. And please, you should make sure your staff can answer them. The woman who waited on us did not have the patience or a clue really what the menu means herself. When we demanded someone else to come over, she called upon a man in suit (I supposed the manager) who was even worse. If a manager could be rude like him, this restaurant is doomed. After a rather long "discussion" clarifying the prices and our order, we were relieved and would like to just sit and enjoy our food. But our tea never came, and then it came it was the wrong tea. The story in a similar pattern just went on for the whole night.I do understand restaurants in Hong Kong are busy, especially those in Times Square where most customers are tourists. But isn't it strange a place like Times Square with pricey posh restaurants full of tourists couldn't guarantee a slightly better service? What is happening to Hong Kong? One thing good about this restaurant is the soup base - we ordered the chicken soup base, which came with half a chicken and full ingredients but don't even think about the shrimps which are extra small and thin but costing $50 each. 點了椰子雞鍋,口味很不正宗,可能專門是給香港人吃的吧,沒什麼太大的特色。東西算滿高價的,但都好大一盤,所以很不適合2-3人去吃,覺得要超過5人去吃才點得到東西,不然人少點個二樣就夠了,點多了吃不完,點少了吃不到東西,真心覺得如果有半份可以點就好了。服務一般般,和收費相比不值得。 continue reading
