其實已經有一段時間冇來過,以前很喜歡點這裡的牛扒,抵食又好味,牛扒5成燒得剛剛好,我們與同事還經常過來,join埋member, 當飯堂一樣,但後期品質變差,差不多一年沒有來過。今次光顧是因為老闆宴請同事嘅farewell lunch, 當然唔好待簿各位,齊齊叫行政套餐。4 course set lunch, 頭盤點左一個西蘭花湯、軟殻蟹沙律,主菜黑松露意大利粉,甜品雪糕Waffle。一如以往,侍應先端上一藍香噴噴的法國麵包,anchor 獨立包裝牛油,搽一點兒上去,咬落,包邊仍然是如果鬆脆中間的麵包又香、又軟,他們的是自家制,很容易會不停一件接著一件食。。。就咁食飽了...是日餐湯有龍蝦或西蘭花白湯,本人覺得龍蝦湯味道有點怪,通常都會點菜湯,但今日個湯味道淡左d....到軟殻蟹沙律到了,樣貌好吸引,有2大隻,少少菜伴碟,先把蟹中間最多肉部分放進口中,呀。。。成口都係油呀已經唔想再咬落去了。等左一陣黑松露意大利粉上場,諗住可以有啖口食,點知個意粉一點兒汁都沒有,干爭爭咁,又沒有黑松露味,錯曬呀!我食左幾啖就放底餐具,等待甜品好了。雪糕waffle, 應該最冇問題,因為都是現貨回來再擺靚

到軟殻蟹沙律到了,樣貌好吸引,有2大隻,少少菜伴碟,先把蟹中間最多肉部分放進口中,呀。。。成口都係油呀
已經唔想再咬落去了。等左一陣黑松露意大利粉上場,諗住可以有啖口食,點知個意粉一點兒汁都沒有,干爭爭咁,又沒有黑松露味,錯曬呀!我食左幾啖就
放底餐具,等待甜品好了。雪糕waffle, 應該最冇問題,因為都是現貨回來再擺靚靚放上碟,食曬。唔夠飽,唯有食多兩舊麵包,無限量供應,這裏還是麵包最好吃!

難得和兄姊一齊晚飯, 五哥推介一間在中環的法國餐廳, 我們一行5人進入餐廳, 環境舒適, 侍應很有禮貌, 服務好好頭盤是法式田螺, 美味餐湯是野菌忌廉湯, 香濃幼滑主菜是扒美國豬鞍肉配甜椒燒汁, 羊鞍食得多, 原來豬鞍肉都是很好的選擇還有芝士什菌燴飯, 好有驚喜最後是我最喜愛的心太軟and雪糕

今日lunch 適逢係同事生日,所以由佢發板,係OR 尋找返佢上次食過評價幾高嘅 Brasserie Le Fauchon.幾經辛苦由山腳行上嚟,點知waiter 話冇位,一行8人即時晴天霹靂,幸好壽星仔好運,及時有另一waitress 走出嚟話樓上有吉房,剛好可以安頓我哋,只係要分2張枱。睇完午市menu, 發現選擇算多,而且吸引,有湯,麵包,main course 同咖啡都係$120左右,價錢合理。 我張枱分別叫咗蒜香雞扒,牛尾意大利飯,牛扒。未上餐湯同沙律,waiter 已放低一籃熱辣辣嘅麵包,仲話係新鮮焗,仲可以refill, 太感動啦。餐湯同沙律用長碟配杯嘅形式上枱,美觀實在,沙律上仲鋪咗3片ham, 份量足又有好味.嚟到main course, 同事嘅蒜香雞扒好有睇頭,而且肉質嫩滑又有汁,同事大讚。至於我嘅牛尾意大利飯,份頭一樣唔細。去度牛扒,不得了,份量足又厚身,仲要有2舊。大家見咁嘅形勢,即刻嚟個開心share, 所以我哋每人都可以試到大家嘅午餐,太開心。。。最後嘅飲品,waiter 嘅表現加深我對餐廳嘅好感。 同事本身點了熱檸水,只是不以為然講咗句好"寡",

迎接復活節的來臨,同時剛好要到中環辦些事,加上好想食煎鵝肝,就到了蘇豪找間法國菜餐廳。六時許,仍沒有人,侍應安排了我坐窗邊的四人桌。很了一會兒餐牌,點了兩個套餐,一個四道菜,另一個則有三道菜。煎帶子沙律。帶子剛好,沙律加了醋,略酸,開胃,菜也新鮮,亦有不同顏色,賣想不俗。煎鵝肝是主要想食的一道,煎的力度剛好,外脆內軟又滑溜,很想吃的關係,所以覺得特別好吃。牛柳配虎蝦,牛柳說不上特別,但厚身,煎起來沒有功架的話便很易毀了這個牛柳。虎蝦有點失望,蝦比想像中的虎蝦略細,蝦肉稱不上是新鮮,中間有一些配料,亦蓋過了蝦肉的味道。煎鴨脾,皮很脆,肉很滑,與茨汁也十分夾,值得一試!朱古力梳乎里作為餐後甜點是不錯的選擇,個人對甜品沒有甚麼要求,梳乎里起得到個形就ok,故很快略過。吃了很多油膩食物,最後的餐茶點了茶包泡的English Tea,令整個晚上更覺休閒!

This is a HK style french restaurant, geared for people who do not know what french food is. We should have left before we ordered. There was a set menu available for HK 260 for a 4 course meal. There was soup, appetizer, main and dessert. I ordered the french onion soup and it was such a disappointment even before I tasted it. There  was no melted cheese on top of the soup bowl. The soup had a piece of toasted soggy french bread and the soup itself tasted like packet soup you get in the supermarket. Next course I ordered escargot in garlic. The snails were nothing special, the seasoning was salty with lots of garlic which probably masked the low quality snails. For main course I had the steak. Just when you think you can't go wrong with a piece of meat, the restaurant was able to mangle the dish. The thin piece of meat was smothered with a thick sauce, similar to a sauce you would get if you went to a Chinese style western restaurant. The meat in itself was very soft which made me think they probably seasoned it with baking soda to soften the meat. For dessert I ordered the ginger soufflé which argueably could be the best on the menu. The soufflé was cooked to order, with a strong taste of ginger. However, there was a strong eggy taste to the soufflé. By the time dessert came I was ready to leave. While the entire course was considered cheap for soho prices, I left the restaurant unsatisfied and wished I had spent my money elsewhere, even if it would cost me double or triple the price I had just spent. 
This restaurant is not for those who want to experience french cuisine or good food for that matter. I wish people coming to this restaurant would know to expect you'll get HK style western food and nothing authentic. The wait staff were attentive and very nice.

這天,與相識多年的同學兼同事來一個farewell lunch朋友有Brasserie Le Fauchon的會員咭,也就帶路來試試前菜可選沙律或薯蓉焗田螺,午市套餐會供應焗田螺實在誠意可加,必要捧場田螺肉質爽口,味道鮮甜又惹味配以軟綿的薯蓉,實在好吃主菜也有不少選擇,就例如朋友選的牛扒,也有烤雞和煎魚等供應不過,在眾多主菜中,比利就特別鐘意於這款烤羊架,選了medium rare入口煙韌細緻,滿載羶香伴以香濃燒汁,非常合意甜品沒有選擇,就只有法式焦糖燉蛋,也是大路的選擇面層焦糖燒得香脆,甜蜜滿載燉蛋質感幼滑,水準不俗,略嫌蛋香略欠,是不足之處朋友果然沒介紹錯另,若大家想來的話,必要入會,因優惠多著呢~

而且还有自家意粉套餐 沙拉或汤 加意粉 108元

朋友们都点的行政午餐 我吃素 点的意粉套餐

午餐配的是鸡胸沙拉 我点的蔬菜沙拉 分量不大 但油醋汁很健康 味道还好

意粉种类有四种 天使、扁面、spaghetti 还有一种忘记了 我喜欢linguini 扁面

汁可选basil tomato、cream和oil and garlic 我选的cream

配菜是四种荤四素可选两种 荤菜有蟹肉、虾、火腿之类 素菜的西兰花、蘑菇、彩椒等 

我点的西兰花和彩椒

上菜之后感觉不错 cream很香浓 彩椒切成比较粗一点的丝 很软 很甜 还有切成碎粒的西芹 很提口感

我觉得挺满意

朋友们点了焗蜗牛等前菜 还有黑白意面 

意面的名字听起来很有趣 上来发现是白意面和墨鱼汁意面的混合 果然是黑白 配菜也是虾和青口 一黑一白 哈哈 我尝了一口面 感觉是橄榄油味道 比较清淡 也很不错!

朋友的甜品是提拉米苏 我没有吃 不能评价 

最后喝了一杯热柠水 

还是很抵食的啊 下次可以再来

Brasserie Le Fauchon是我喜愛的餐廳,當有空的時候我就會與家人一同到來吃頓午餐,因這裡的食物是弄不錯的。這裡的法包每次都會焗得脆脆才上枱的,我們一家人都很愛吃,不夠還可添加。至於appetizer and soup都有質素,不會因為是跟餐的就求求其其。本人愛吃海鮮,所以主菜還是點了龍脷柳,龍脷魚本身淡淡沒什麼味道,很靠廚師的烹調煮法,這裡做的龍脷柳味道不錯,煎得頗香。家人則點了牛柳和雞扒,牛柳5成熟,咬落沒有渣,肉質算嫩滑。而雞扒就配以番茄莎莎汁,不過不失。

They tried serving French cuisine with fine dining, but the ambience, service and food were far below authentic French Fine Dining.  It appears to be a Hong Kong styled French restaurant.  We were led to the seats on the 2nd Floor through another entance of the building.  All hot foods, such as the snails, the soup (shrimp bisque), were not hot at all.  The fish smelt a bit stinky. Most of the other food tasted just OK, but the desert was good.  In all, over priced for "unreal" fine dining.

和朋友聚舊, 晚餐分三道菜$268, 四道菜$298, 比較SOHO其他餐廳, 這兒價錢可以說非常親民了。選擇也算多, 頭盤選了煙三文魚凱撒沙律 - 三文魚肥美夠魚油又嫩滑, 沙律菜也新鮮爽脆, 第一道菜印象分不錯 (但不知是否Set的關係, 份量是出奇地少的, 如果女士打算散叫當主菜的話, 我相信要此份量x3才可當主菜呢!)跟著是洋蔥湯- 好稀好淡, 絕對貨不對版, 似洋蔥水多啲, 即時倒扣分數主菜是澳洲羊架配紅酒汁- 有少少羶味但可接受, 肉質有咬口, 但略嫌稍乾不夠肉汁整體不過不失, 以此價錢在這區是不錯的選擇, 但以此價錢在其他地區就有更好的選擇。

There was no table left anymore, but we could sit at the bar. The light were very bright above the bar, we asked or they could put them softer, but that was not possible. We orded a bottle of red wine, the wine was to warm for us and we asked or they could chill the wine. That was no problem, the service was perfect. My husband had a big piece of meat as main and I had the steak tartare with fries. It tasted very good, only the fries were very small, to thin. I prefer them thicker, those were not representing real fries. After the main courses we ordered some red wine and cheese. The cheeses were good! We had a very nice dinner here and for sure we go back, but not at the bar, the lights are to bright there. So make a reservation to be sure you have a nice table!

My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time on 12 December 2013. I picked this restaurant because I had intended to pick one well-known for French cuisine - this one poped-up in the search with 1) a French name; and 2) 125 people thumbs-up for their previous experience, registering the most people thumbs-up among all the 15 candidate restaurants.

We arrived at the place around 19:20 - no reservation but seated immediately on the 2nd floor. The overall environment is acceptable but has room to improve: 1) it is not very quiet, but not so much noise either, although 10-15 customers dining simultaneously (occupying about 60-70% of the space on that floor). I can clearly hear what my friend says and he has no problem hearing me; 2) the light is neither too bright nor too dark, with candles creating the right atmosphere; 3) they seem to place too many tables in one room so it feels slightly crowded.

The service is acceptable. The wine and courses were served timely and the server has the proper manner, easy to communicate in English.

The menu is the biggest surprise to us. As mentioned above, we had expected French cuisine here. It turns out fewer than 20% of courses listed in the menu are what we consider "real" French cuisines. In fact, the menu explicitly listed a lot of US/Australian/New Zealand/Italian/Swiss food. We did not expect these things in the menu of a French restaurant. The wine-list not only has French wines, but also wines from other countries.

With this menu, we ordered two glasses of champagne, a half-bottle of French wine, French onion soup, Italian rice (I forgot the name, but it is Italian for sure, not French), and Swiss chocolate as the dessert.

For the food, Swiss chocolate is the best and original in the sense that it matches the quality of  the same course serving in Switzerland. French onion soup is the worst in terms of French standard. The soup itself tastes OK, but it is definitely not French - acutally it is more suitable to be called Chinese onion soup. The Italian rice is ok, but I think it is fair to say it is really of average quality. For the drink, the wine is good, but not the champagne.

Overall, I would say it is a good restaurant, but not for those who seek original French food.
Other Info. : I do have special feelings after the meal, but not related to the quality of the meal.

You've got to try this Baked escargots with mashed potato. The escargots were baked perfectly. Better still, they didn't come in the shell, that made it easier to eat.
