有些餐廳,每次來到都會好開心。在我的清單𥚃,尖沙咀朗廷酒店的「Bostonian」就佔一席位。 它的半自助午餐, 頭盤任取任食, 主菜及甜品就在餐牌中選擇,人均 $378。意外發現在網上平台訂枱 (Openrice) 有七折,折後 $265,真心抵。我就帶了同 team 同事們去吃午餐,因為他 / 她們喜歡吃 - 生蠔。 午餐的亮點,即開生蠔,任吃啊: 今天得到法國 Fine De Claire 和愛爾蘭 Irish Rock,回本位。 我喜歡法國,餘韻較佳,且在「法國五月」食法國蠔, 應節。另外其他海鮮有刺身、翡翠螺、大蝦、蟹腳等等: 一向欣賞它們 refill 生蠔的速度, 食客們也很 decent。每隻蠔圓潤飽滿,新鮮且不瘦身,今次我吃了一打法國蠔 :-) 任吃頭盤若只有生海鮮的話就太單調,外邊也有不同火腿、芝士、煙燻三文魚、沙律、水果等。隨影: 不太吃得慣冷食的朋友, 任吃部份一樣有熱盤,例如焗蠔、串燒魚柳、意粉等輪流出場。單是頭盤,已經可以吃到飽喇。隨影: 今天主菜有四款,我的「Roasted Ribeye, with balsamic glazed shallots, seasonal vegetables, black pepper sauce」 一向喜歡吃肉眼,半熟,厚切也不會韌,質地亦靚。說真,這份量的扒若放諸其他餐廳散點,該不便宜。 「Pan seared sustainable Halibut with beurre blanc」 比目魚伴法式牛油醬,畫了圈圈墊底,配料有嫩蒽、羊肚菌、椰菜。切了一口來吃,煎得脆卜卜,肉滑,而且它是用上「Sustainable 可持續海鮮」,值得支持。 「Grilled pork “Picatta”」 也吃了一口,肉地比想像中腍。旁邊配蘋果泥、意大利青瓜、檸檬醬等。若沒有嚐錯,肉中間應該是夾了芝士?好吃的,而且豬扒與蘋果醬一向是如「風箏與風」般絕配啦。 甜品環節,令當日女士們嘩嘩聲。「Exotic “Ferrero Rocher” passion fruit & mango center and hazelnut coating」 沒有形容錯,是巨型金莎般的朱古力球,成個水晶球咁大! 扑開朱古力波,填滿榛子醬、熱情果芒果慕絲,加上牛奶朱古力醬,對女士們來說是如「小鲜肉」般絕頂誘惑。。。明白的,呵呵。 我的「Summer Fruit Clafoutis with Mandarin sorbet and berries sauce」 法式蛋糕,中間是柑橘味雪芭配野苺汁,味道酸咪咪,可以踢走初夏的納悶,亦比較啱男士們。擺盆精緻,味覺像去了亞熱帶一轉。 最後的咖啡: 這𥚃的用餐體驗,是從頭到尾都不會令人失望,服務非常好。以此價錢,喜歡吃生蠔的朋友可以來吃午餐,瘋狂一下  continue reading

每逢母親節中菜館必定人頭湧湧,所以每一年我們都選擇西餐廳,以避開人潮。今年選擇了這一家,是因爲這餐廳的semi buffet 包了生蠔任食(外母很愛吃生蠔),而我自己很愛吃海鮮。母親節的brunch 與平日的餐牌有點不同。這個semi-buffet包的是自助形式的生蠔、海鮮冷盤、壽司、刺身、沙律及熱盤。由於是semi-buffet的關係,每一款只有少量選擇。先說說生蠔,今天只有兩款選擇,分別是Irish rock 以及 Scottish rock。愛好生蠔的外母大人,覺得質素麻麻地。而對生蠔沒有研究的我,覺得生蠔是可以的,但沒有期望中的鮮甜。壽司及沙律我不是特別好,所以就沒有拿了。海鮮冷盤方面主要有蝦、龍蝦、螺及青口。蝦及龍蝦感覺頗鮮甜,但龍蝦略嫌咸了一點。而青口沒有味道,螺就帶有沙粒,影響口感。熟食方面有芝士焗蠔、燒蝦、蒜蓉蒸帶子、炒雜菜及芝士螺絲粉。當中我最喜歡的是燒蝦,燒的火候剛剛好,配料不會太濃味,蝦不會燒得太乾。蒜蓉蒸帶子味道不錯,但略嫌太細隻。我們正努力吃自助餐時,侍應端上了每人一碗的南瓜蜆肉湯。湯的質感做得非常好,有細細的南瓜茸,而蜆肉也很鮮甜。完成了湯後,侍應這時端上了頭盤。頭盤包括每人一隻鮑魚、半隻蒸龍蝦以及一件蟹餅。太太覺得鮑魚很不錯,但我覺得醬汁味道實在太濃,蓋過了鮑魚原有的味道。而蒸龍蝦就不過不失,沒有想像中的鮮甜。蟹餅的蟹肉份量很多,可以用啖啖肉來形容,可惜炸的外皮太軟,切開後蟹餅已不成形了。主菜就實在強差人意了。我選了的是Jumbo scallop and shrimp。菜一上,已感覺略為不妥。首先那醬汁實在太多了,另外蝦也未免太細隻了。帶子火喉煮得剛剛好,但浸了在那醬汁中,掩蓋了原本應有的鮮味。而太太點的duck confit實在不能接受, 好像吃鴨肉乾,硬得很。主菜太令人失望,本來我們對甜品沒有期望。但這個布丁卻很醒胃,外層的白朱古力很香濃,內裏的苺味酸酸甜甜,配上荔枝果肉,整個配搭搭非常match。最後飲品方面,只有汽水是任飲,實在有點失望。另外今日包一杯餐茶,但那breakfast tea 卻淡而無味,感覺像在喝水一樣。這餐母親節午餐最有心思的是餐廳準備了小禮物給各位母親。總括而言,餐廳的服務質素非常好,但食物質素還有很大的進步空間。 continue reading

不定期嘅舊同事聚會又係時候舉行, 今次由識飲識食組員推介去呢間食lunch buffet, 時間由中午12:00食到下午2點半, 夠晒時間比我地吹水!由呢條樓梯行落去就到, 餐廳燈光昏暗, 走型格路線, 枱與枱之間空間感十足, 坐得幾舒服話係buffet,其實說實在D係半buffet,  包一個主菜及甜品餐飲, 其餘凍盤, 熱盤,沙律, 芝士, 生果都有供應凍盤亮點當然係生蠔啦, 需知邊依加唔係太多buffet有生蠔供應, 尤其係lunch buffet見到佢有兩個國家生蠔供應 : 法國 (Fine de Claire)及愛爾蘭 (Irish Rock)體積屬於嬌小類, 蠔身亦比較單薄, 但蠔味幾出, 帶點海水咸味, 都食得過!另外仲有蝦, 翠螺及青口, 配埋cocktail sauce都唔錯刺身種類只有三文魚及吞拿魚兩款, 選擇較少, 反而壽司種類偏多, 仲有漬物及中華沙律, 過下口癮!其他有幾款沙律凍肉切片類風乾火腿及芝士類其實只食呢部分都已經飽左一大半, 係時候要選擇主菜我地一行六人, 決定牛/羊/魚各二, 一齊分享每樣擺盤都相當靚仔, 羊肉仲呈現嫩滑粉紅色, 外香內軟!牛肉超䭃滑, 輕輕用刀已可切開, 配埋香濃醬汁, 幾好味!呢碟煎鱸魚亦做得出色, 皮脆肉甜, 加埋鮮味醬汁, 正喎!甜品有兩款, 當然全部要晒呢個賣相咁甜美嘅係紅桑子芝士蛋糕, 外面包住一層脆身嘅朱古力皮, 感覺似食緊脆皮雪條, 味道酸酸甜甜, 即使好飽都食得晒!另一客為朱古力蛋糕配以雲呢拿雪糕再加朱古力醬, 未食時"凝"住會好甜, 但食落又唔係喎, 甜度岩岩好, 質感鬆軟, 加埋棉花糖一齊食又香又軟!我地傾下食下都差唔多過左兩點半, 出面嘅食物雖然被清走, 但侍應無唔會借頭借路收晒你D餐具, "示意"要離開, 呢餐有某張信用卡仲有九折優惠, 相當抵食! continue reading

上次到朗廷酒店吃完DINNER BUFFET 後, 覺得食物水準頗高, 感覺又良好, 於是這次表哥一家相約在酒店的BOSTONIAN, 我們當然開心赴會, 又有機會吃好東西了。這間主打SEAFOOD & GRILL 的餐廳, 星期日就有APPETIZER BUFFET。餐廳以近代工業風裝修, 加上有不少有趣的掛畫, 令整個餐廳充滿現代藝術感, 更加輕鬆, 加上空間感十足, 很適合朋友或家庭聚餐。BRUNCH 中包括APPETIZER BUFFET, 還有特色APPETIZER, MAIN , 甜品和任飲果汁, 十分豐富對我來說, 第一眼最吸眼球的還是這個前菜SALAD BAR想不到BRUNCH 都有這麽多海鮮, 款式媲美晚上的BUFFET 了。本身不太好吃生蠔的我這次竟然連吃了五隻! 來自澳洲, 意大利和美國的生蠔的各具特式, 偏向較爽口的品種, 有些海水味會重一點, 不過全部都非常新鮮, 夠凍又處理得乾淨, 真的很好吃! 身邊那位固然很高興, 轉眼已吃了一打生蠔。原來表哥也很'蠔"得起, 邊吃邊談間也吃了兩碟蠔。其他海鮮水準也很不錯, 較少有的琵琶蝦和經常要排隊才有的開邊龍蝦我也吃得很滋味, 肉質爽彈, 不會有一陣雪味, 有些還有膏呢。但也不能吃太多, 因為還有MAIN COURSE 呢。除了海鮮外, 還有有自助餐中不能缺少的刺身。平時的大紅人今天被其他食物蓋過了風頭, 三文魚還是相當肥美, 八爪魚亦很脆口, 不過胃口有限我只能各吃兩片。同時亦有多款沙律, 有泰式有意式, 顏色美麗. 亦很開胃。不吃生的亦有很多熟食選擇, 烤焗帶子和生蠔烹調時間控制得宜, 肉質還保持嫩滑, 充滿着海鮮的甜美,而且調味亦不會過濃, 很不錯。吃完一輪前菜後, 已經半飽頗滿足, 但好戲在後頭, 餐中指定的前菜送上。是鵝肝多士和蟹餅呀!傳統西式的高級前菜一次過送來。鵝肝肉厚, 煎得內脆外軟, 甘香細膩, 加了陳醋後一點也不覺肥膩, 而且配上多士就更添口感, 是件邪惡但美味的"小食"。蟹餅看似平平無其, 切開其實是滿滿的蟹肉, 又軟又甜, 香口的食物永遠很得我的歡心。原來每人還有一客XO醬上湯焗龍蝦, 很中式的一道餸。新鮮龍蝦的味道果然不同, 肉質特別爽脆, 那種彈牙質感真是龍蝦才有, 味道亦很鮮甜清香, 難怪成為蝦中之皇。上湯焗可以令龍蝦的鮮味特出, 加上點點的惹味XO醬, 整個配搭令我現在想起來也想再吃。主菜在我們全部人吃完龍蝦後很快便送上, 酒店侍應的服務真是很貼心。身邊那位點了羊架, 看似較RAW, 但其實肉質非常嫩滑, 羊味重但不羶。羊肉本身與香草很搭味, 香焗後更入味外亦令油脂焗掉, 吃起來更滋味。我的焗挪威三文魚比想像中更大份。魚肉整很十分嫩滑, 可以做到像廣東蒸魚那種。味道不算太濃, 油脂分佈亦很平均, 煎焗後添了香氣, 即使凍了吃也不覺得腥。這時其實我已覺得很飽, 但甜品的出現又再刺激我的食慾心多多的女士們把餐牌中的甜品各選了一件, 大家開心SHARE。我自己就最喜愛中間那件榛子蛋糕, 鬆軟的忌廉中帶着果仁香, 不會太甜, 一層軟一層鬆, 有點像拿破侖餅。而圓型的開心果泡芙內有雪糕加開心果忌廉, 加上濃濃的朱古力COATING, 味道豐富, 又是另一番滋味。雖然這餐對我來說真的頗貴 (連加一差不多$700一位), 但食物水準真是很高, 無論海鮮迷或是食肉獸都很滿足。 如下次有什麽喜慶特別日子再來豪一次也值得encore。 continue reading
