Spend Sunday brunching at Bostonian and dig in to a limitless selection of salad such as tomato and mozzarella, chicken and green apple with walnut, and summer tropical fruit salad; sushi and salmon, tuna sashimi, charcuterie and cheese station. Also feast on iced seafood including Balmain bugs, crab claws, Boston lobsters, Iceland jade sea whelk and 3 kinds of freshly shucked oysters, and dig in to various cooked seafood such as oyster mornay, scallops with garlic and prawn skewers. 上次到朗廷酒店吃完DINNER BUFFET 後, 覺得食物水準頗高, 感覺又良好, 於是這次表哥一家相約在酒店的BOSTONIAN, 我們當然開心赴會, 又有機會吃好東西了。這間主打SEAFOOD & GRILL 的餐廳, 星期日就有APPETIZER BUFFET。餐廳以近代工業風裝修, 加上有不少有趣的掛畫, 令整個餐廳充滿現代藝術感, 更加輕鬆, 加上空間感十足, 很適合朋友或家庭聚餐。BRUNCH 中包括APPETIZER BUFFET, 還有特色APPETIZER, MAIN , 甜品和任飲果汁, 十分豐富對我來說, 第一眼最吸眼球的還是這個前菜SALAD BAR想不到BRUNCH 都有這麽多海鮮, 款式媲美晚上的BUFFET 了。本身不太好吃生蠔的我這次竟然連吃了五隻! 來自澳洲, 意大利和美國的生蠔的各具特式, 偏向較爽口的品種, 有些海水味會重一點, 不過全部都非常新鮮, 夠凍又處理得乾淨, 真的很好吃! 身邊那位固然很高興, 轉眼已吃了一打生蠔。原來表哥也很'蠔"得起, 邊吃邊談間也吃了兩碟蠔。其他海鮮水準也很不錯, 較少有的琵琶蝦和經常要排隊才有的開邊龍蝦我也吃得很滋味, 肉質爽彈, 不會有一陣雪味, 有些還有膏呢。但也不能吃太多, 因為還有MAIN COURSE 呢。除了海鮮外, 還有有自助餐中不能缺少的刺身。平時的大紅人今天被其他食物蓋過了風頭, 三文魚還是相當肥美, 八爪魚亦很脆口, 不過胃口有限我只能各吃兩片。同時亦有多款沙律, 有泰式有意式, 顏色美麗. 亦很開胃。不吃生的亦有很多熟食選擇, 烤焗帶子和生蠔烹調時間控制得宜, 肉質還保持嫩滑, 充滿着海鮮的甜美,而且調味亦不會過濃, 很不錯。吃完一輪前菜後, 已經半飽頗滿足, 但好戲在後頭, 餐中指定的前菜送上。是鵝肝多士和蟹餅呀!傳統西式的高級前菜一次過送來。鵝肝肉厚, 煎得內脆外軟, 甘香細膩, 加了陳醋後一點也不覺肥膩, 而且配上多士就更添口感, 是件邪惡但美味的"小食"。蟹餅看似平平無其, 切開其實是滿滿的蟹肉, 又軟又甜, 香口的食物永遠很得我的歡心。原來每人還有一客XO醬上湯焗龍蝦, 很中式的一道餸。新鮮龍蝦的味道果然不同, 肉質特別爽脆, 那種彈牙質感真是龍蝦才有, 味道亦很鮮甜清香, 難怪成為蝦中之皇。上湯焗可以令龍蝦的鮮味特出, 加上點點的惹味XO醬, 整個配搭令我現在想起來也想再吃。主菜在我們全部人吃完龍蝦後很快便送上, 酒店侍應的服務真是很貼心。身邊那位點了羊架, 看似較RAW, 但其實肉質非常嫩滑, 羊味重但不羶。羊肉本身與香草很搭味, 香焗後更入味外亦令油脂焗掉, 吃起來更滋味。我的焗挪威三文魚比想像中更大份。魚肉整很十分嫩滑, 可以做到像廣東蒸魚那種。味道不算太濃, 油脂分佈亦很平均, 煎焗後添了香氣, 即使凍了吃也不覺得腥。這時其實我已覺得很飽, 但甜品的出現又再刺激我的食慾心多多的女士們把餐牌中的甜品各選了一件, 大家開心SHARE。我自己就最喜愛中間那件榛子蛋糕, 鬆軟的忌廉中帶着果仁香, 不會太甜, 一層軟一層鬆, 有點像拿破侖餅。而圓型的開心果泡芙內有雪糕加開心果忌廉, 加上濃濃的朱古力COATING, 味道豐富, 又是另一番滋味。雖然這餐對我來說真的頗貴 (連加一差不多$700一位), 但食物水準真是很高, 無論海鮮迷或是食肉獸都很滿足。 如下次有什麽喜慶特別日子再來豪一次也值得encore。 continue reading

平日工作忙碌, 一到星期六日想悠閒渡過, 早前便去了位於尖沙咀的Bostonian Seafood and Grill 食brunch充充電.這裡係半自助餐形式, 任食各款沙律, 冷盤海鮮,生蠔,前菜,焗蠔,焗帶子等, 果汁也是任飲, 價錢$628, 若果想飲酒精飲品, 額外加$200就可以任飲. 冷盤海鮮和生蠔. 各款沙律. 焗蠔, 焗帶子和西班牙火腿. 坐下後, 先飲番一杯橙汁. 接着, 我先食冷盤龍蝦和龍蝦鉗. 蝦肉夠鮮美, 又彈牙. 焗蠔和焗帶子. 我本身唔食生嘢, 食唔到生蠔, 見到焗蠔特別開心. 蠔夠大隻, 而且蠔味夠濃郁, 令我食不停口. 西班牙火腿配蜜瓜. 我自己最鍾意一齊食, 蜜瓜相當甜, 可以中和帶咸的火腿. 今日餐湯是忌廉蘑菇湯. 個湯好滑身, 而蘑菇味道也幾濃. 另外,每人有一件蟹餅, 鵝肝和半邊龍蝦. 蟹餅一切開見到一絲絲的蟹肉, 外層帶脆身, 雙重口感. 鵝肝整的時間控制得宜, 對於我來講, 質感剛好. 半邊龍蝦. 我自己鍾意食海鮮, 這個龍蝦當然不能錯過. 蝦肉夠爽口彈牙, 又容易整開, 入口啖啖肉. 主菜六選一,我選了炸魚薯條. 炸魚薯條上枱, 香味撲鼻. 炸漿夠薄身, 我最怕炸漿過厚, 完全食不出內裡的魚肉. 這個內裡的魚肉帶點口感和挺身, 唔會太稔. 最後還有甜品. 甜品賣相相當精緻. 一共有四款口味, 我就每一款淺嚐了少許. 餐茶點了熱咖啡. 這一餐真係好豐富, 趁放假悠閒地食一餐最好不過. continue reading

每年總有一至兩次, 到朗廷酒店的Main St Deli, 為朋友們慶生, 原因是食物份量足, 質素也不俗, 因此, 當友人提議一起到朗廷酒店Bostonian Seafood and Grill吃Sunday Brunch, 我就立即答應了. 既然Main St Deli是一間不錯的餐廳, 相信其餘在朗廷酒店內的餐廳, 亦會是有水準的餐廳.位於地牢位置的Bostonian Seafood and Grill, 與Main St Deli一樣, 窗口欠奉. 感覺是有點壓迫感, 然而, 環境, 氣氛卻很輕鬆, 牆上的畫作也很特別, 令人舒服放鬆.自助餐區除了有生蠔, 龍蝦, 凍蝦, 翡翠螺和青口之外, 更有刺身, 壽司, 沙律, 生果, 煙三文魚, 焗蠔, 芝士等. 豐富得令人驚訝.   每款生蠔也取了兩件, 由順時針方向說起, 美國Fanny Bay,  紐西蘭Coromandel, 愛爾蘭Irish Rock. 來自Fanny Bay的美國蠔相對身型小巧, 卻帶甜味, 感覺清新. 紐西蘭蠔Coromandel則是三款生蠔之中, 擁有最巨大的身型, 肥美但爽口, 金屬味頗濃. 愛爾蘭Irish Rock雖然沒有紐西蘭的巨大, 但它蠔胚深, 所以蠔肉也算大隻. 它異常creamy又豐盈, 吃了兩件就立即有飽肚感.接著, 取了開邊龍蝦及青口, 前者蝦肉紮實鮮味, 後者海水味濃郁. 吃到此時, 已開始有點飽意……時常保持健康飲食的我, 當然要吃點沙律才像樣. 天啊! 自助餐區竟然有六款沙律, 這麼多款沙律, 我實在沒法每款也品嚐, 於是只好拿一點來吃吃. 很愛那個青蘋果沙律, 清甜又爽口.吃過自助餐區的食物, 就到了吃brunch menu上的食物. 其實除了自助餐區豐富的任取食物之外, 每位可同時享用鵝肝多士, 蟹餅, 燒開邊龍蝦, 磨菇湯, 自選主菜及甜品.鵝肝多士, 油脂豐腴, 每啖也是油, 是很肥膩吧, 但偶然一次也可接受. 炸蟹餅炸得金黃, 脆卜卜的炸粉並不厚身, 裡面塞滿的絲絲蟹肉尤其令人滿足.燒開邊龍蝦竟然比任取的凍龍蝦更吸引, 因它的肉質更為爽彈, 蝦膏也比較多. 想不到這磨菇湯可以這麼的濃稠, creamy之餘, 也吃到大量磨菇碎, 有驚喜.主菜揀了挪威三文魚扒, 外表看來平平無奇, 事實上, 切開它, 便看到裡面是呈半生熟狀態. 如此這般的三文魚扒, 相比全熟的狀態, 就更軟嫩, 更滑溜.點了五成熟的美國肉眼扒, 粉紅色的牛扒, 肉質軟嫩而帶嚼勁, 肉汁也不少哩. 可是實在太飽了, 只吃了一片就要放棄.最後, 有甜品拼盤. 四件甜品之中, 我最喜歡Jell-O 1-2-3. 它是由士多啤李啫喱, 慕絲及忌廉, 再配上一顆車厘子和士多啤李組合而成. 以士多啤李啫喱包裹著士多啤李慕絲, 既特別, 亦讓人享有雙重口感. 與朋友們分享了這件甜品之後, 我竟然想再吃多一件哩.  很久沒試過吃得這麼飽, 這麼滿足. 雖然又要回去努力做運動, 但只要能夠吃到美食, 就算多辛苦, 也是值得的. continue reading

成日都好想星期日食個brunch ,特別係澳門某間酒店嗰個,但就係要就到星期日過去,唔係一件易事,就得人又就唔到酒店。喺香港食呢間,慳左個船票,約人又無甘難,堅係幾好。最好嘅就係拒質素好好,一定唔會比人投訴。半自助餐嘅型式,場內有個位置放置頭盤,涼菜。主要係生蠔,龍蝦,刺身,芝士,甚至係沙律,其實食拒都可以食飽。個人嚟講好中意食生蠔,但係衰在自己食唔多,同埋無論食熟又好,生又好,都會疴。但奇怪地今次並無呢件事發生,質素係唔同d。生蠔款式有三種,我較中意食細細隻肥嘟嘟呢種,好香甜,好creamy 。其他的龍蝦,螺凍食味道亦很好,感覺新鮮。之後還有個頭盤,蟹肉餅同龍蝦。我好中意拒個蟹肉餅,因為真材實料,切開好明顯見到一絲絲的蟹肉,咬落去同食蟹無分別,仲節省左開蟹的工夫。主食我都係中意食美國的肉眼扒(US Prime Ribeye Steak),大大嘅一件,面都烤到有格格紋,剩係個樣都攞滿分。一向中意食生小小嘅我,切開略有紅紅地,肉汁豐富,有牛味之餘更有燒烤香氣。甜品仲有我中意的Hazelnut cake,好似千層蛋糕甘,一層忌廉一層cream nuts,忌廉囗感冰凍似雪糕。講真我都算係好大食,剩係食出面嘅嘢已經食到好飽,但仲有甘多好嘢食,唔食又對唔住自己,哈。唯有一餐當三餐甘食喇! continue reading

早出晚歸嘅我,由星期一開始返工嘅時候我就希望快D到星期日可以休息之餘,又可以做自己想做事情當然包括去飲飲食食享受一下生活,就係上星期日又去咗品嚐美食,今次同朋友去食brunch ,去咗尖沙咀北京道郎廷洒店低層大堂Bostonian seafood &grill 休閒享受一下豐富brunch入去已見到自助區有不同款色食物放滿係櫃枱上,梗係搵個靚位坐定先再出去慢慢挑選食物,呢度唔止得呢D食物咁簡單,仲包括埋個豐富套餐而菜式都有好多口味選擇添。未食套餐前點都要出去自助區覓食一下美食,係咁多美食當中,我見到其中一款美食簡直係我至愛佢就係生蠔,而且仲有3種款式選擇我都唔駛諗就一次過攞晒回來慢慢品嚐,分別有美國Fanny bay&新西蘭Coromandel 同愛爾蘭Irish rock ,先食Fanny bay本身肉質較為細小但入口非常鮮甜清新,而另一款係Coromandel厚厚肉身相當大隻入口肥美又飽滿,到最後係Irish rock 肉質鮮嫩又多汁入口仲好creamy 點埋醬汁食更滋味,真係好食到停唔口夠晒鮮,要再出去encore 幾次先至可以滿足自己之後仲食咗海鮮同其他熟食美食係一路食之際終於輪到豐富套餐出來,先來熱辣辣嘅蘑菇湯,入口滑溜香濃仲飲到蘑菇蓉。其後有小食煎鵝肝配多士同蟹餅,先食鵝肝面層煎得香濃,入口外脆內軟而鵝肝肉質亦非常嫩滑甘香,再配上香脆多士一齊食更惹味。輪到蟹餅外面已炸到金黃香脆,輕輕咬一口已裂開鬆軟嘅面層,已見豐滿蟹肉一絲絲流出來,食落滑溜又鮮甜,炸得時間啱啱好唔會太乾身再來係蟹鉗同龍蝦半隻,蟹鉗入口啖啖肉又大件,龍蝦亦落足香料處理,蝦肉人口爽嫩彈牙仲食香濃蝦膏鮮甜,連同香料一同食更好味到主菜加$238點我另一至愛牛扒u.s prime ribeye steak (12oz),牛扒色澤鮮紅煮得時間啱啱好,脂肪包住外圍輕輕切開已見肉質鮮嫩散發出陣陣香濃肉味,再切一件入口肉汁係口內滲透出來,加上肉質細嫩滑溜而脂肪非常香甜,簡直水準之作食到停唔到口食完主菜好自然到甜品出場,點咗JELL-O 1-2-3 ,鮮紅水果再士多啤梨啫喱配埋慕士同香滑奶油,買相精美入口香甜又滑嘟嘟好有囗感,最後飲番杯香濃咖啡提一提醒,係休閒之中享受一餐高質brunch continue reading
