Drink and dine to win a London holiday and attend The Championships Final Day Celebrating Champagne Lanson’s 40th partnership year with The Championships, Wimbledon, The Langham, Hong Kong is offering a trip to experience the longest-running tennis tournament in the world just by drinking bubbles and enjoying a sweet treat at the Bostonian Seafood and Grill. As one of four annual Grand Slam tennis events held around the globe, Executive Pastry Chef Matthieu Godard introduces a special tennis-themed dessert. He decorates the plate with green coconut shavings to mimic a tennis court which signifies Wimbledon as the only Grand Slam that is played on grass. Taking centre court is his edible tennis ball shaped by a white chocolate shell where the inner core is filled with a light citrus mousse of lemon confit and lemon basil sauce. The dessert packaged with any bottle of Champagne Lanson is the Bubbles and Tennis Treat of Wimbledon where guests have a chance to win a trip to London and attend a final day of the prestigious tennis tournament. We went here for our 2nd anniversary and it was a perfect choice. Food: To start off they gave us a little appetizer.  It's a mini sandwich with cucumber, egg and salmon roe. Also, there is a plate of warm bread. We ordered the seafood tower and fish & chips for our main. The seafood tower itself actually got us already quite full. There's a variety of seafood and my favorite is the Alaskan crab legs, lobster and the oysters. The seafood was very fresh and worth the price. Next, the fish & chips is definitely one of the best in Hong Kong. The fried batter is not oily at all and even for a wannabe health conscious person like me I ate all the fried batter which is a first! It comes with potato wedges and salad which is a great combo. Unlike other restaurants, the fish is cut into 3 pieces already which is easier for sharing.For dessert we got their signature baked alaska. The portion is really big and perfect if you have 4 people. We couldn't even finish it! There's a generous amount of vanilla and raspberry ice cream. This is a must order!! Service: The staff were very friendly and they constantly changed our plate full of seafood shells with new ones.  continue reading

Delicious bread, my kid loves it so much The smoked salmon starter is tasty though it is a bit small.The oysters are fresh and yummy!The big scallops are really good and worth to try!Our main dish is grilled seafood, which contains lobster (good taste), abalone (too small...), tiger prawns and shrimps (yummy), fish (oily but delicious), etc.We tried the baked alasaka, good to take pic but tried once ia more than enough!In gist, a good place to celebrate with good services and environment. continue reading

男朋友生日於是特別搵間靚靚餐廳同佢慶祝,事前一早打去餐廳preorder 個火焰雪糕蛋糕 (signature baked alsaka),重有得寫名。 心情超興奮 !當天6點到達餐廳,服務員告知6點半先招待Dinner. 不過佢地服務好好,問我地想坐吧檯飲住等定行陣再番黎,咁我地就揀後者啦 由於我諗住俾surprise 男朋友,所以冇同佢講pre order左個甜品,所以食完海鮮同main之後,我地就坐左向度, 我都唔知點提d waiter 幫我上甜品。好在D waiter 真係好專業,見到我地食完晒野,自動自覺上甜品。又邀請我地影合照留念,服務一流!  雖然個生日牌好簡單,但係個火焰雪糕蛋糕超正!有齊vanilla 同strawberry 2隻味,然後個cake超大份… Total 切左4件vanilla 4件strawberry ,件件瑞士卷咁大件,真係估佢唔到,最後食到爆肚 continue reading
