港澳版米芝蓮推出已經九年了, 名單中, 大部份都是耳熟能詳, 大家也去過, 寫過. 但當中亦有一些例外, 如Bombay Dreams, 已經連續七年得到必比登推介, 但在朋友中間, 又好像沒有太多人曾經來吃過. 畢竟印度菜, 對一般人的距離, 其實幾大.是日下午休假, 那不如就趁這個機會, 一個人來中環吃印度菜午餐. 來到的時候差不多兩點了, 依然很旺場, 目測大部份都是外籍客人, 也是意料中事. 午市除了單點之外, 也可以吃自助餐, $158一位, 包飲品一杯, 是合理的價位, 那就吃自助餐吧.Buffet Lunch $158: 8分, 甚麼也未開始吃, 首先要做的, 是點選一杯可樂. 要吃辣, 怎也要有解辣的良方.看看自助餐檯, 選擇算幾豐富, 不過我來到的時候已經是自助餐尾段時間, 每樣食物也剩下不多, 拍攝出來的效果, 就強差人意了. 湯只有一款, 就是Tamarind Rasam, 羅望子味濃, 湯還能保持熱度, 配上脆餅同吃, 食味不錯.兩款小吃, Kara Bonda跟Vegetable Samosa也幾香脆, 只是不再熱暖, 如果早點來到的話, 情況應該不一樣. Tikka也有兩款, 分別是Fish Tikka Dill Se, 以及Chicken Tikka Methi Malai, 惹味之餘, 也開始感受到那辣勁了. 這時候, 要吃吃沙律, 中和一下.來到主菜的環節, Chicken Koora, 跟Gost Rampoori Korma也是味道香濃之選, 特別是前者, 咖哩汁很惹味, 配上Subz Pullao同吃就最正頭正路.另外, 還有Amritsari Paneer, Saag Matar, Aloo Baingan, 以及Daal Lobia, 我就最喜愛Amritsari Paneer, 咖哩味道複雜一些, 辣度是慢慢滲出來的, 吃到這裡, 可樂大派用場了.吃完主菜, 吃點水果吧, 當然, 我主力的目標是西瓜, 很清甜. 最後還有三款甜品, Moong Dal Halwa, Raj Bhog, 以及Fruit Rabri, 說真的, 跟平日吃開的甜品相比, 是有十萬七千里的距離, 完全是不一樣的體驗, 如Raj Bhog, 就是堅甜的. 如果再加$20, 還可以點選咖啡或茶, 不過我之後還有下一個目標, 就不再喝了.連續七年得到米芝蓮必比登推介, Bombay Dreams的成績很突出. 午市自助餐$158一位, 選擇也算豐富, 整體菜式亦有水準, 是城中吃印度菜的好選擇. continue reading

I m very disappointed regarding the food and at the same time their behaviour.we went for a buffet lunch. chicken kabab and few snacks are good only.i can not name a single good dish. I think they don't have hospitality manners .they should first learn hospitality management. continue reading

We went for a birthday dinner to try the Indian vegetarian options. The food there was delicious, the dishes names very much like a typical Indian restaurant. The staff and manager was very co-ordial. Bombay Dal and Cottage cheese with green chilly and spring onion ie paneer with hari mirch and hara pyaaz are highly recommended. They are also mentioned in the menu master strokes. Unfortunately didnt try any non-vegetarian dish that day but I am sure it would also taste good and as authentic as the vegetarian options. The ambience of the restaurant was good too with dim moonlight settings. According to me, its a good value for money restaurant. continue reading

The restaurant is a bit difficult to find – it’s located on the 4th floor of an office building with a relatively narrow entrance. However once you come inside the restaurant is very nice – modern, but unmistakably Indian and more “classy” than your average curry joint.The menu is very extensive so we had some difficulties choosing, finally we decided on:Murgh Tikka Peshawar (132 HKD)Large chucks of boneless chicken, marinated and grilled. The description was something about in cream sauce, so I expected a dish similar to chicken tikka masala, which is isn’t – more like chicken tikka. However the taste of the chicken was very good and it came with a small serving of a minty dip. Unfortunately the chicken wasn't 100% cooked, not raw, but some slightly pink bits. Overall good, but probably would try something different next time.Palak Paneer (98 HKD)I had this dish in many places, this was definitely a good version. Lots of paneer, good texture. Relatively mild flavor, not only of Spinach, but also some herbs. Nice texture of the sauce. Overall a very good dish.Dal Bombay (88 HKD)A very dark dal, made from almost black beens or lentils (not sure) in a sauce. Again relatively mild, but still enough flavors. This one has a lot of very “dark”, earthy spices. Texture was a bit a liquid for my taste. Overall nice, would eat it again, but given the extensive menu not the next time.Nan (26 HKD) and Roti (24 HDK)Very good tandoori nan in structure, texture and flavor, the Roti was a bit chewy – would only order nan next time.Service is ok, but a bit patchy – sometimes a bit slow, sometimes a bit fast.Prices are (as you can see above) quite high for an Indian restaurant (in addition they charge 10% service fee), but given the quality and the ambience ok. continue reading

這𥚃沒有夢,只有在造夢的侍者,而且滿懷怨懟..如果你一踏出lift門,踫上沒有笑容的女侍,不要懷疑是遭受歧視,她們對任何人也是那副德性,同桌的外國朋友便踫到一臉子灰..Bombay dreams唯一優勢是其地點,座落雲咸街,憑窗遠眺,便是舊中環警署.我們奌了一支Riesling,在這個天時吃印度菜很適合.店方送上welcome snack,每人半小件,類似fried dumpling東西,很美味;這個小小利誘讓我們食指大動,追吃samosa.Vegetable samosa以薯蓉,豆蓉,洋蔥和香料做成的印度咖啡角,沒有剛才那件炸物出色,不過也蠻不錯,如果附上薄荷醬更對胃口.Garlic naan其實材料真簡單不過,人人都會做..只要麵粉,酵母,鹽糖水,再加蒜頭芫茜便成,偏偏印度餐廳做出來,不需多大功夫,都好吃到不得了,何解?可能用炭爐關係..Palak paneer (Spinach with home made cheese)芝士菠菜是嚐印度菜必吃item,可惜這𥚃版本毫不吸引..處理菠菜不當,還是反覆加熱之故?抑或落了過多turmeric?眼見枯黃的菜蓉,已倒了胃口,手做芝士也沒多少風味..很是失望.Tandoori eggplant呈上枱到吃進嘴裡,我都在懷疑是茄子嗎?糊糊重香料的東西,已弄不清楚原本屬性.Prawn Curry水水的咖喱汁𥚃幾隻沒味道的雪藏蝦,收這個價錢..!!??Indian bread pudding這個..我沒能吃得下去,整個bread pudding都是煉奶再炸完浸糖水..真的...好甜~~~一億個甜,我現在想起毛管也竪起~~~其實好一餐唔好又一餐,也是一個經驗,不過這個質素吃了我一千元,我就希望純粹是一個夢. continue reading
