走過古色古香的古董店,經過唔少的香港的老店,感受著舊日香港的氣息。在轉角處,竟然發現一家半開放形式的酒吧餐廳,和剛才嘅老街坊的氣氛截然不同。藍色主調的用餐空間,懸著銅金色吊扇,配上長身木製吧枱,整體感覺時尚又輕鬆。餐廳的feature wall放著形形色色的酒杯和酒瓶,還有多款的特色啤酒供應。涼風在四邊吹進來,看著熙來攘往嘅行人,有着悠然自得嘅感覺。來自不同國家的旅客共坐一桌,感覺熱鬧,彷彿大家在聚餐一樣。Brunch menu 有六款選擇,有輕盈的希臘乳酪,也有烤鴨漢堡和烤雞窩夫等輕食,價錢由$85-$205。Duck confit burger, fennel, pomegranate $195這個鴨肉漢堡的份量唔少!鴨肉滿滿的堆在麵包上,猶如小山丘。鴨肉一絲絲的,肉質極為軟嫩, 肉汁豐盛,充滿鴨肉香,味道帶一點點的咸。配上爽口的酸菜和酸甜的石榴子,鴨肉在酸菜的襯托下,咸味得以平衡。豪氣的,一口氣把煎旦和鴨肉一起吃。旦汁的旦香令鴨肉更加濕潤豐厚,石榴子香甜爽脆,再配上塗抹了沙律醬的香軟麵包,味道更為豐富立體,配啤酒吃一流。小提示,一定要把所有配料與鴨肉一起吃,不然的話,鴨肉會有點咸。從來都愛聽Elvis Presley的舊曲,但見到餐廳供應他的French toast, 唔知係咪好似他的情歌咁甜呢?Elvis Presley French toast, summer berries glaze$138這個法式西多士賣相精美。烤香蕉有著焦糖脆面,令軟腍的香蕉多一份脆口感覺,份外香甜。法式西多士十分鬆軟,滿有旦香,有著旦糕似的質感。表面上塗滿了幼滑花生醬和粉紅脆糖,再配上酸酸甜甜的雜莓汁,味道幾rich. 花生醬又香又creamy, 加埋summer berries glaze 的一點酸,有著畫龍點睛之妙。就像peanut butter and jam 是平凡又邪惡的美味配撘,永無失望。Low country fried chicken and waffles $205嘩啦!甜的窩夫就吃得多,配炸雞還是第一次。炸雞大大件,炸得香脆juicy. 再夾埋香脆的waffle 一起吃,意外地十分合拍!正正是美國carnival 的comfort food,令人吃得暢快。輕輕鬆鬆的吃一個brunch,呷一口咖啡,看著香港舊日街貌,懶洋洋的享受一個慢活下午。 continue reading

I don’t think there’s another restaurant+ bar in hk that I don’t mind going once every month. Constantly changing menu and friendly staff. Love this restaurant probably cause I’m addicted to craft beer. And They have amazing food that goes well the huge selection of beer . Only thing that can do better are the table settings, wish there were more individual tables instead of a big communal table in the middle. Great for parties and friends. so-so for romantic dinner. continue reading

Located at the corner of Tung Street in Sheung Wan, Blue Supreme is a vibrant bar and restaurant that serves amazing local draft beer, bar snacks, brunch and dinner. I have wanted to try out their dinner menu for so long, and a laid back Sunday just made it happen.I arrived at about 17:30, and dinner is only served from 18:00 onward when the chefs are ready. Therefore, I got myself a beer to kill time. This Gamblers Gold is the first one on the draft beer menu. It’s crispy and fruity, which was very easy and enjoyable to drink even for a beer newbie like me.I came for this Instagram famous Duck Confit Burger, and it was absolutely amazing! The bun was so fluffy, and the thick layer of duck confit was so juicy, meaty and delicious! What’s best, the runny egg yolk added flavored to top up the bun and duck confit. Awesome! I also love the pomgranate on the side. Sorry fennel, you are not my thing. Forgive me for not touching you much to save some tummy space for dessert.I also came for this Milk and Cookie. Usually it comes in portion for two people. I was so grateful that the waitress offered me a portion for one. I was quite sure that I could finish a portion for two, but it wouldn’t be as enjoyable since I would be really full and stuffed when I finish everything on the plate.The under baked chocolate cookie was uniquely delicious. It’s warm and like American soft cookie, but a bit more crispy. And the molten chocolate was so tasty! What’s best is dipping it in the homemade mint milk. These two were definitely a superb match! Oh my god, I actually had a foodgasm there even though I was dining on my own. I am a happy cookie monster there and would definitely come back for the cookie and milk! There was more milk than cookies, and the milk was definitely great to drink on its own. Drinking milk in a bar like a boss, why not? continue reading

等了很久,終於有機會到訪 Blue Supreme 這家位於上環東街、以摩登美式菜為主題的餐廳。餐廳雖然不大,但坐得很舒適。我個人最喜歡它們啤酒的種類,menu 以啤酒的濃度排分,適合不同人士的囗味。我最期待就是品嚐它們的酸啤,及 Executive Chef Leonard Cheung 的廚藝😋我們慕名而來,當然點了很多特別的菜式。首先是snow peas,一道很清新、充滿口感的前菜,而且非常新鮮。我更欣賞他們精緻的 plating,最適合我這些喜歡拍 instagram photos 的女生。之後,是 scrambled eggs with salmon roe and prosciutto,是我認為最驚喜的菜式。有別於其他炒蛋,它一點都不油膩,而能做到香滑細緻的口感,而且上面點綴了三文魚子,更有層次感,值得一試。之前在 IG 看過他們帶子,已經很期待。先來的是 scallop crudo,非常新鮮,跟fennel 及 uni 很配。之後來了 hokkaido scallop with ikura, spring greens and lemon verbena, 帶點清新的花香,非常開胃。接著是duck confit burger,雖然已經是第五道主菜,但我們兩位女生也不會覺得很飽😛麵包稍微煎香,配上入口即融的鴨肉焗得很香,濃香的醬汁令口感更加提升,伴菜是我最近愛上的fennel,酸甜度適中,剛好中和 burger 濃烈的味道。Last but not least,是甜品的時候! beet in marigold, vanilla milk 一試難忘。巧妙地將紅菜頭弄成 paste,加上微甜的 vanilla milk,是很具創意的配搭,yummy!有別於一般的朱古力曲奇,每一塊都是新鮮烘焙,外脆內軟,配上冰涼的 mint milk,是夏天消暑之選。整晚的 highlight 當然是它們出名的酸啤。晚飯後有幸跟Leonard聊聊,他們的啤酒直接向酒廠購入,品質得到保證之餘,價錢亦能保持最低👍我和朋友都很喜歡這家餐廳,一定會再次到訪😊 continue reading

A walk-in restaurant in Sheung Wan. They have an impressive selection of beers (a lot of which I never heard of). Their menu is best for sharing. I ordered the fries (best I've ever had), cornbread (you will never find anything similar to this in HK), Soft Scrambled Egg, Hokkaido Scallops and Duck Confit Burger (must-try). Their milk & cookies are the best. The mint infused milk is everything. Definitely worth the trip and coming back soon!  continue reading
