位於大王東街嘅潘明記,睇Openrice知道係好多聚居於灣仔嘅外國人嘅喜愛餐館之一,怪唔之得價錢都非常「西化」,一個午餐閒閒地都要$88-$98,雖然聽上去感覺唔算太貴,但係佢嘅食物質素絕對配唔起呢個價錢,喺普通茶記都可以食到嘅水平,而食材亦唔算矜貴,根本唔需要賣到咁貴;份量嚟講亦唔係特別多。味道方面,筆者嗌左糖醋排骨(配白飯)($88),醬汁味道濃郁,不過排骨嘅骨同肉比例懸殊(大概係8:2),鍾意食肉多啲嘅朋友就最好唔好嗌呢個餐了~餸菜同白飯分開上,呢一點值得一讚。另外,佢嘅飯碗同裝飾非常有中國風,相信呢一樣野亦係吸引外國人嘅原因之一。整體而言,餐館食物價錢偏貴,性價比低,不值得推介。

呢間餐廳一直都好受外國人歡迎, 今日見到有位就試試.叫左豬扒擔擔麵, 餐牌寫明是辣的. 本來豆漿要加$6 既, 但係老闆娘親切地送左比我. 上菜都好快.主角面幼滑, 擔擔麵湯底好濃花生味, 加上超多花生粒的口感一點都不單調. 雖然話辣, 個面都好多辣油, 但原來是微微的麻辣. 豬扒就簡單唔韌. 份量岩岩好, 不太多又好飽, 岩晒食飽返工. 食完辣野飲一杯凍豆漿中和一下 非常推薦. 估唔到咁多外國人的餐廳食反而就係最傳統不花考不賣gimmick.可能外國唐人街都係走呢種路線? 見到有食評話呢道係香港最好的中菜, 就覺得都好岩. 其實現今香港要搵一間賣簡簡單單無味精又無偷工減料, 價錢平民的餐廳實在太難啦!

We love to come here for lunch. The set lunch comes with a drink and a side dish. Everything is just so delicious. The fish is fillet is crispy and the sauce is both sour and sweet. The stir fried chicken is just so tender and it goes well with the crunchy peanuts (my favourite ). The air con is cool enough for such a hot summer.

臨近農曆新年,公司有不少團年飯要吃。是次同事選了這間小飯館-潘明記。其實潘明記已經吃過幾次,每次也有一定水準,沒怎麼失手過。雖然是中菜館,不過也有不少非華語的客人來捧場。飯館以客飯為主,我們一行9人因已預約了酸菜魚和手撕雞,就只點了5個飯餐+一個麵餐。酸菜魚 - 魚滑是基本,湯底不會太辣,亦不會太油,連不太能吃辣的人也可駕馭。冬粉滑溜煙靭、酸菜吸收了湯的辣,整個菜連湯也很好下飯。手撕雞 - 這裏的手撕雞不只是鹽水浸咁簡單,是又炸過又滷過,撕完後再加蒜等調味料放面。淨看外表已經很吸引,非常入味,部分皮仍感到少少脆口,唯有些肉輕微柴一點。以下是午市套餐:嫩雞煨麵 - 所有材料(雞/青菜/蘑菇等)切成小粒,容易入口。麵即使吸滿了湯,也不會泡到變糊,反而吸了湯味道更好。另外還附一碟辣味小芽菜。麻婆豆腐 - 辣度適中,不過比起辣,麻的感覺更重。也是很好下飯的菜式。干煸肉鬆四季豆 - 每次必點的菜式,微辣,豆炒得剛好,一向不好豆的我也吃了不少。蔥爆牛肉 - 牛肉軟腍,無筋位容易咬開。蝦仁炒蛋 - 蝦應是新鮮的,大大隻且爽口彈牙。糖醋魚片 - 正常水平每個餐附送一杯凍/熱豆漿或汽水,雖然我們只點了六個餐,不過老闆也給了我們一人一杯豆漿 (共9杯),不另外收費呢!
