西營盤多小店唔少人都知道,但係餐廳變換嘅速度都好快,無論黎幾多次,都仲係搵到新嘢嘗試!今次利是呢間Blacksalt,地理位置比較隱蔽,喺福壽里小巷裏面,人流不多,用餐環境好舒適!今次一行四人,最主要係想試佢嘅pancake,但係都有每人嗌一個main,而每份食物嘅份量都頗多。Kata Murga Benedict一上菜,同想像中的Benedict都有啲出入,兩個poached eggs下面唔係㗎平時見到嘅牛油果或三文魚,係手撕雞肉加Tikka masala 醬汁,即係印度咖喱的一種。 醬汁非常香濃,有少少辣,二兩隻蛋上面的醬汁就係honey mustard,頗有中西合璧的感覺!Bomb the Bay Omelette原本想將呢個omelette會係類似西班牙蛋餅咁,但係一上菜,真唔係嚇親!蛋餅上面擺住嗰三舊,係肥豬肉,五花籃_^會係類似西班牙蛋餅咁,但係一上菜,真係嚇親!蛋餅上面擺住嗰三舊,係肥豬肉,五花腩!!Menu上面有寫omelette嘅材料,諗住啲肉會喺蛋餅入邊作餡料,絕對想像唔到係當topping咁係個蛋餅上面!雖則唔係健康之食的首選,但係五花腩表面有焦糖化,我切左啲脂肪,淨係食肉的部份,非常入味!至於個蛋餅, Menu上寫所選用嘅係時蔬,當日食嘅蛋餅入邊有大量韭菜,用料都好新鮮,好味!The Fry UpFusion款式嘅all day breakfast!圖左嘅係山葵炸條,好新穎,將山葵切幼,再沾炸粉炸到香脆,雖然話係煎炸嘢食,但係炸山葵都不算太油。中間有塊厚切培根,由於真係大啲heavy,都係食左兩啖,味道偏喊!右下嘅係豬肉腸,煎之餘仲有落一籃子嘅香料,如果淨食腸的話,味到一樣偏濃偏鹹。成碟菜比較合口味的就係塊naan,有少少鹹味,亦有啤酒嘅香氣,送豬肉腸食就岩岩好啦!到今日最想食嘅pancake, Menu上可惜沒有其他部落上看到的香蕉pancake,但係有呢個sticky toffee buckcakes,由於Pancake係用蕎麥粉整,口感比較鬆散,軟身同平時街上食到嘅pancake嘅質感非常唔同,每塊pancake中間亦都夾咗切碎嘅梨粒,同濃稠嘅toffee醬汁形成強烈對比,甜耶耶得來亦都多一份清新感!總括來說,如果追求健康飲食,少鹽少油少醬料嘅食物的話,呢間餐廳未必啱你,不過如果喜歡fusion菜,或者喜歡味道濃郁嘅食物的話,可以不妨試試!

BlackSalt does a great weekend brunch. The store itself is pretty small and compact, with a few tables placed outdoors which is pretty nice when the weather is cool and the sun is out. BlackSalt is located just a 3 minute walk from the Sai Ying Pun MTR station.Dish 1 is the Kata Murga Benedict ($130). What made this dish stand out was the absolutely delicious pulled poultry tikka masala which was tender and flavourful!Dish 2 is the Grilled chutney and cheese croquet madame. While this was also tasty, it lacked the final touch to elevate the dish and set it apart from others that also serve croquet Madame.All in all it was a great lunch experience and hope to be back to try their dinner in the future!

The food wasn't bad at all but it just takes a lot of time before it arrives. I waited 45 min atleast and I don't think that the food is that good to wait for. Don't go there if you are hungry. Maybe go there if you think you are going to get hungry. Tables were not clean also, the sides of the tables contained some oil spill and it got on my white t-shirt.

went for dinner with friends having voracious appetite. cozy on the side of squeezed but that is lending to the overall atmosphere. great Indian fusion with some decadent ingredient - some were sort of average fusion. Love the Iberico ham samosa! Loved the Char Siu. the waitress was a tiny bit pushy while we were selecting menu but. oh well, we can always try that variation next time. good balance of spicy and not so spicy (spicy lover here) and meat and veg. would come back again - the menu itself is not that big so unless you are obsessed with it, give it a while before the return.
