最近兩口子晚餐都以多菜少肉為主,在家開餐固然沒問題,但每當二人在外用餐,便感到困難重重!因難在於要找到好吃、蔬菜多,做到平衡又不能寡味的餐廳,為此兩人往往呆待在街頭,失去方向!這晚在灣仔誤打誤撞,竟然找到無論環境和菜式配合也得宜的餐廳!也許是平日的晚上,餐廳客人不多,可以安靜享用晚餐,環境氛圍是第一個舒服。透過裝修設計,可見其花心思之處,座位背後那幅甚有南洋風味的大畫先來吸睛,還有躲在酒吧轉彎位,那部懷舊手動的刨冰機,未嚐它的刨冰,先想好好欣賞它的美!其他裝潢不「劇透」了,留待你們自行發掘吧!好了言歸主題,「Biba and Baba」主打娘惹菜,結合馬來香料,惹味得來並不霸氣,令我吃出第二個舒服!餐牌提供款式雖然不多,但幾乎也是娘惹菜的經典,例如金杯、五香、烏達、亞三魚、參巴臭豆蝦、娘惹咖喱魚頭等等,可以輕易讓我選擇到有興趣一試,肉菜平衡、美味恰好的款式,為我們帶出第三個舒服來!所以「Biba and Baba」成為回頭指數十分高的餐廳,還有不少蠢蠢欲試的美味啊!第一道是檳城蝦麵 HK$102,湯底以紅蝦頭和豬骨熬製,入口有著微辣與香料層次,鮮香惹味、卻不俗套!麵條採用了米粉和油麵的摻摻,充滿地道感覺之餘,掛湯程度亦不錯。選料有彈牙鮮蝦、魚片、豬肉片和雞蛋,好吃!娘惹菜少不了叻沙麵,可惜晚上負擔不了那麼多,這道叻沙釀豆腐 HK$102 剛好滿足我們的需要!將魚肉釀製的秋葵、炸豆腐及辣椒放到叻沙湯底裡,成為與別不同的煎釀三寶,風味大大提升,可嚐到美妙而不膩的叻沙湯,又不會撐著飽皮,而且魚肉質高、非常彈牙好吃,配合我們喜愛的新鮮蔬菜,從湯底和釀蔬菜即可感受到娘惹菜的細緻!最後一道的蕃薯葉 HK$58 更是我倆的大愛!蕃薯葉十分之嫩滑,帶有明顯的菜香,以恰好份量的參巴炒製,微辣惹味又不至於掩蓋蕃薯葉的獨的味道,調味與平衡功夫真的讚讚讚,現在坊間甚少吃到這般出色的蕃薯葉了!難得找到三舒的晚餐,價錢亦不貴,下次必然再來 Bibi Baba,嘻嘻! continue reading
