Been here a few times, and still they have the best croissant in town. The egg tart was amazing as well, just enough crunchiness on the crust and very tasty filling. I went on a Saturday around 11am, the queue for take away was not bad, I waited for around 20 mins till my turn. The sad part was the croissants were sold out, they had another batch coming at around 12:30pm, would be good to have a signage if the croissants were sold out so people who’d go for that don’t waste time queuing, luckily I planned to dine-in. For dine-in, the wait was longer, got our table after around 40 mins. continue reading

將中餐元素放進西食一樣美味,有驚喜。Bakehouse brunch plates 有一個麻辣雞跟窩夫,這是用上四川花椒為香料的炸雞件,叫了這個食物後有一種期待,是什麼味道呢。以前我不喜歡花椒八角的味道,但去過四川旅行,試過當地的四川花椒,從此給它獨特的香味吸引著。Ma La Chicken & Waffles 🧇 雞件好香脆,未食已經聞到陣陣花椒香,雞肉仍保持鮮嫩有肉汁,一口咬下,香上加香。窩夫質地非常好,比平日吃的綿密,香香的蛋及麵粉味道,這個配搭有創意又美味。Vanilla Doughnut 🍩 有著満滿的雲呢拿醬,不會太甜,麵皮帶點香,我喜歡呀。Scone有着濃濃的牛油香麵粉香,唔可以唔食。Cappuccino 及 Latte 都是水準之作,好滿足的一餐。 continue reading

今日好好彩唔使排隊,同埋仲有好多蛋撻可以買!Sour dough egg tarts😜呢個蛋撻係呢度最出名嘅嘢食,即刻叫返個!$12唔係好貴,食咗一個之後,我仲買咗五個返屋企添。咁佢嘅蛋味好濃,識落有啲似法式焦糖燉蛋,個酥皮好脆。唔怪得知呢個鎮店之寶咁出名啦!Scone (jam + cream) 雖然呢個睇落平平無奇,但係味道出奇地好食!佢本身好重奶油味,加埋個cream食好好正!連個碗底一滴不留! continue reading

小人多次經過此麵包店,看見人人都買蛋撻,已想試良久,湊巧這天沒見到人龍,於是買了個撻,順便多買個牛角包。先說蛋撻,撻皮據聞是用天然酵母來製作的,但一點都不酸,只覺得跟一般酥皮確實有不同之處,帶著微微的煙靭,有嚼勁,又是另一番滋味。最精彩的乃是蛋漿,充滿蛋香,夠濃夠杰夠滑。至於牛角包亦不失禮,焗得恰到好處,外皮烘得很香,中間是一層層的,牛油味亦很出,令人齒頰留香,一再回味。完成了一個撻和一個包,已很飽肚。 continue reading
