早前朋友看了我的食評,已嚷著要來,可惜一直各有各忙,最近終於夾到時間,重臨這坐擁美麗維港境色的AVA!蟹肉雙重奏 ~ 以水滴形狀呈上,非常有心思;單看賣相已令人相當驚艷,個人覺得在色方面已拿滿分!由阿拉斯加蟹腳、藍蟹肉及多款時令水果組成層次分明的圓塔,色澤豔麗、味道清新而鮮甜,真正是「有外在美、也有內在美」。意大利紅蝦刺身薄片 ~ 薄而通透的紅蝦鮮甜味美,麗質天生的她那須濃妝豔抹,只輕輕抹上一層橄㰖油便已活色生香了,配上Capers同吃,更能提鮮。香煎法國鴨胸 ~ 外貌粉紅誘人,油脂豐腴,鴨味香濃,配上田園蔬菜及黑醋栗汁,好味到只懂不停地吃。😅自家製海膽意大利幼麵 ~ 海膽鮮甜味美,全沒腥或苦味,意大利幼蛋麵軟硬度控制得宜,醬汁非常之掛麺,每一口都是海膽香。玫瑰花雲呢拿雪糕 ~ 廚師把整個制作過程展現於顧客面前,將所有材料倒進盛器內,加入液態氮後快速不停攪拌,隔不了多久,那一大球的雪榚便在重重煙霧中形成了。隨之便被放在一早預備好的撻底上,而另一精彩之處便是將新鮮的食用玫瑰花放入液態氮內,把它冷凍後再輕輕的掐碎,花瓣立時散落在雪糕上,形成美麗而淒美的畫面!雲呢拿雪糕不會太甜,這樣更能特出玫瑰花的香味,實在令人非常驚喜。AVA Iced Tea ~ 新鮮的檸檬汁,加上橙汁及凍茶,解喝一流。 AVA-Tini  ~ 只看外貌已殺死人了,加入Absolut Mandrin 酒、山莓及橙汁,真是未飲先醉。美食襯上美景,加上當晚愉快的笑聲,實在是難忘的一夜! continue reading

AVA一直都係城內好多男男女女慶祝生日或者紀念日會專登訂位的餐廳,因為可以望到維港夜景,所以一直都好多人熱捧,而我就之前未黎過。咁岩撞正有公司活動係AVA搞,所以先有機會係AVA包場食餐飯。面包都算正常既,暖暖地,面包都夠軟熟。配上三色牛油,都幾香。只有三口的沙律,醋的味道太重太濃,成碟沙拉得兩粒脆面包比較好食...牛腰肉配上兩舊炸甜薯。牛肉我諗佢煎到近乎9成熟,破壞左成舊牛肉的質地,好乾身又冇肉汁。賣相係好呀,但係內在....係失敗到極點的牛排。朱古力蛋糕,冇特別...完老老實實,唔知係活動問題定係廚房handle唔到一次出菜要出100碟的問題,每一道都好行貨,質素好參差。如果平時要比錢食呢餐飯,我真係嘔血都似...食完好似冇食過野咁,而且味道真心好麻麻...........我寧願去樓下買個老麥的面包食。真心唔知平時佢地質素係唔係都係咁.....真係一個好差的回憶! continue reading

星期一晚人少少,枱與枱之間的空間感以香港來講算奢侈。AVA座落高樓層,樓底亦都高,window seat窗外剛好被建築中大廈遮擋維港景色,但仍然見到超級月亮,如果藍天白雲應該能夠享受開揚環境。是日晚餐點了一個super 5-course set,再點多兩個個頭盤,分別係Duo of Crab,Itallian red prawn carpaccio,再一碟Homemade Tagliolini with sea urchin sauce,最後就一個自家雪糕玫瑰花,以上9碟兩人share可能肚餓的關係,真心覺得餐前麵包可以來快少少,時間越長越令人有期待,雖然我唔鍾愛麵包,但試過吉地士amber的包就不免有比較。AVA只有兩款,可以再熱D,3色醬令人滿意但份量就太少一粒粒的紅菜頭比較容易遇到,雖然健康有益但真心唔覺得好食,但呢款薄薄一片片配上可能至今食過最鮮甜的帶子(一粒粒),味道非常令人深刻 好 好 味鍾愛蟹的我無辦法抗拒藍蟹肉+Alaska蟹腳再配芒果牛油果的頭盤,講真唔望menu分唔出什麼蟹,非常開胃,真想獨食一碟 (非常好奇為何用水滴造型的冰座)蝦肉一塊塊,蝦味非常重但唔猩,男友厭太重橄欖味點餐時候講明2人share,所以送上的時間已經自行分開兩杯湯,味道濃厚,配上小塊iberico ham,再試一口慢煮蛋,情迷磨菇湯的男友飲得好開心繼帶子,是日最愛,自家製麵的質感柔軟煙韌,咬一口,感覺到一條條斷開整體creamy,份量剛剛好,再多會膩大愛黑米,非常煙韌,令人感動,魷魚味重,整碟的味道偏亞洲風,但非我喜歡的味道對慢烤無期待就假的,但可能因為部位關係,亦可能因為調味問題,表現一般,反而配菜幾好剛開始見到廚師準備分子料理真心覺得無特別,但最後,當見到液態氮冷凍食用玫瑰再弄碎在雪糕上,少女心即時燃起,覺得好浪漫呀至於味道,忘記了只記得唔太甜,berry醬新鮮最後無聊試食朵玫瑰fresh到齒頰留香super 5-course的甜品表現正常,無影相。至於服務就正常,餐後先發現洗手間開始骯髒,有可能當晚有event人較多的關係。當日VISA INFINITE 有20%off 而部分信用卡則就有15%off continue reading

和太太慶祝周年記念, 想給她一個驚喜, 在找餐廳時, 一見到個夜景已經迷上著, 我預先到OPENRICE網頁訂位,順便提及是慶祝和要求安排WIDOWS SEAT, 酒店在進餐前一天早上9點已經來電確認,同時我再三說明的要求。以酒店來說,確認左就算是吧。那天按預訂的時間提早了15分鐘到達,當時餐廳內是有3-4檯客。那外籍侍應安排我坐大堂近門口這將檯,當時他說我沒有訂,差一點18個字的完整英文粗口都出來了,為免破壞自己的心情,我停了30秒再好有禮貌回再應並在我訂檯時已經此確認的要求等。他叫在先坐下來等等,與經理。心諗,如果真系安排唔到真系XYZ爆佢,等了15分鐘,基本上個侍應沒有同任何人傾,之後,她一邊行一邊講今次系特殊安排。OK!OK!唔理你點安排,目的達成!重點系有SEA VIEW同太太撐檯腳。講完一輪不快的經歷,講食物,CHEF真系好用心去做,OVERALL的確好好食。食到最後點甜品時,去依間餐廳,就必食佢個ROSE ICE CREAM,就是這樣,他說這是要預訂及LITMIED供應,好!的確我沒有預訂,但有餐牌又沒有講要預定喎!我當然又要笑笑口的同佢傾左十多分鐘。之後,個侍應又說有客人唔要,現在可以安排給我。。。。 continue reading

今個月諗住同我女朋友慶祝生日 ,於是早十幾日打去做reservation 同埋訂埋招牌雪糕tum下女朋友開友啦。點知根據openrice個電話打上去,要駁線又駁線,hold on 又hold on,幾個職員的服務態度仲要奇差,自問都叫做有d禮貌,從來無試過訂檯食飯會咁樣,最終等下等下用左5分鐘先訂到張檯。好啦,當我上次唔好彩,11點幾打去佢地太忙啦,咁我就忍左佢,點知佢地係我女友生日前一日下午先打俾我話佢地要cancel booking 因為佢地有event ,而且依舊係態度超差!所以忍唔住分享我的經歷出來,希望 貴餐廳負責人好好正視! continue reading
