We were lucky to be seated at the best table, overlooking the nice panoramic view of the Hong Kong skyline, all the way to the Stonecutters Bridge. The restaurant had a nice and relaxing ambience, with good music, chic design and comfortable seating. There was a balcony and in good weather the place would be a perfect spot for enjoying some good wines and food.

We had the 7-course Carte Bianca Tasting Menu ($1,188 each). After serving a nice sourdough together with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the first course was Apulian Red Prawns, Burrata & Oscietra Caviar. The red prawn was served raw, seasoned with just a bit of lemon zest and shallot, highlighting its sweet taste and bouncy texture. The sauce was made from pear and apple, giving a bit of the citrus acidity to freshen up the palate together with some langoustine oil, which intensified the flavours tremendously. On the side was the soft burrata cheese with a bit of caviar to give a hint of savoury note to the delicate cheese. A wonderful starter.

The second course was Chestnut Velloute, Morels & Truffle. The soup was served in the right temperature, with the rich and creamy chestnut flavours permeating. There were plenty of shaved black truffle on top to add its nice aromas to the soup, with also some morels to give good bite. Warming to the stomach and fulfilling.

The third course was Homemade Tagliatelle, Blue Lobster & Bagna Cauda, and in fact was ‘hidden’ on the menu. Signature of the chef, the tagliatelle was really great in texture, with the perfect bounce and bite. The lobster was nicely poached to give a great sweet taste. There were two types of sauce in the pasta, including the tomato with lobster jus, and Bagna Cauda, made from anchovies, butter and garlic. Together with the pasta it was sublime. My favourite dish of the meal.

The fourth course was Homemade Pappardelle, White Ossobuco Ragout. The pasta was flat and looked a bit like wide fettuccine. The stewed veal was braised in white wine, and together with the pappardelle was amazing in taste. It was equally delicious with the previous pasta, but richer in flavours. Because of these two dishes I would like coming back again to try some of their other pastas.

The fifth course was Citrus Poached John Dory, Samphire, Seaweed & Classic Oscietra. The fish fillet was seasoned well, then poached with lemon juice to impact with a refreshing palate, with a generous amount of caviar on top. The sauce was prepared from fish stock, lemon juice and butter. The samphire and seaweed on the side was quite interesting, as the ingredients were more commonly found in Japanese restaurant.

The sixth course was Australian Striploin, Burned & Pickled Eggplant. The beef was beautifully seared, cooked medium rare. Juicy and tender, I liked the cut as it was not fatty. The eggplant was served two-ways, including puree and pickled. Compared between the two main courses, I would prefer this one more.

Originally the dessert was Cannoli, but the staff told us that they had an issue on the sourcing and could not offer that. Instead, we were served Amadei 70% Chuao Chocolate Fondant served with Gelato alla Super Vanglia. The chocolate fondant was oozing with rich chocolate upon cutting, sweet and rich. To balance there were some berries on the side, with the vanilla gelato soft and complementary in flavours. A good completion to the meal.

The service was good, with the staff friendly and explaining each dish to us. The bill was $2,688 which was reasonable considering the overall experience. On the day the restaurant was very quiet, and it was sad to see how the coronavirus continued to affect the industry and everyone. I hope things would turn better soon and everyone could come out to enjoy nice food again.

It’s the price of hotel dinner buffet (or even higher) so really depends what you like. This place serves unlimited fresh oysters, king crab legs, lobsters, mud crabs that were all very fresh, much better than hotel buffet quality. 總括今餐,抵食一定講唔上,如果係之前其他YouTuber食嗰時咁600幾蚊都可以接受。
雖然意大利餐廳就緊係飲Prosecco , 但加300幾蚊free flow Prosecco 性價比真係一般。

食物方面,除咗個蟹腳乾咗少少其他都完全交得出質素,一分錢一分貨。

服務方面,相當貼心,侍應不時會留意住你張枱嘅需要。但要提提佢嘅fill水速度真係好快,轉個頭就幫你開咗支新水,逐支計錢架,如果會肉痛嘅就要及早同佢講聲。

另外一個值得一讚就係啲侍應會同你講義大利文,不停Grazie Grazie,令你有置身義大利嘅咁覺,好似去咗旅行咁。

Had this crazy lunch at Aria and I can honestly say it was sooooo much better than my first experience. With a focus on seasonal ingredients, the chef has a story for every dish on the tasting menu. We had a couple of off menu items, but as reference the 7 course menu is $1490 and the 10 course menu is $1990.

For starters there's fresh sea urchin from Spain, not as sweet as Japanese uni but still pretty good. Then there's a shrimp carpaccio served with a slice of toast with several kinds of tomatoes pressed into it. It was INTENSE.

Then we probably had the last white truffle of the previous season for Aruas signature dish, truffle on egg foam with caviar and scrambled egg, potato, ikura and poached quail egg.


Onto the rest of this awesome lunch at Aria, starting off with this xiaolongbao inspired ravioli. Chef was inspired by how xiaolongbao has soup inside so that's what he incorporated into his ravioli. The red and black colours are meant to reflect the colours of his favourite football team, man united? And given his time spent in Shanghai, he came across spicy crawfish on multiple occasions, thus the some crustacean on top of the ravioli to homage to the 小龍蝦.

THEN followed by a seafood carbonara, instead of egg yolk, you get uni uni and more uni. I meam, damnnnnn loving the uni. Then we had a seafood bisque with a piece of roasted fish served table side. If that wasn't enough we got another fish dish, monkfish I think, served with oregano freshly sprinkled on top. Legit chef took out a whole bunch and started sprinkling it on top of my plate. Finally, the main dish is a pigeon served three way, breast, drumstick and in a spring roll, along with potato served three way.

For dessert we had an INTENSE vanilla ice cream with caviar, first time having this combo, and a Mr White dessert, with Greek yoghurt slice, rhubarb and truffle on top. Damn it was a crazy fulfilling meal.

Ordered the beef carpaccio, Hokkaido scallop for starters. Also the Australia black market sirloin cut, a penne, a garlic spinach and a dessert-had the chocolate fondant. The waiter is very friendly and helpful. Attentive and warm without being too forceful which is good. They gave you a complimentary salmon starter which is tiny but could clear your platte. The vinegar and olive oil dip for the bread is nice. There is some i guess garlic or herbs in the olive oil.The beef carpaccio is very thin

The scallops didnt taste as like Hokkaido ones which usually is very fresh and packed with flavour. This one Just not very fresh. The penne you can tell is freshly made. The sirloin, they would cut it in front of you depending on how big a cut you want. I usually would go for wagyu which has more marble but my friend is on diet so go for leaner sirloin. They grilled it perfectly. The spinach is nice because I don't like cream spinach but this one is stir-fried with garlic. It is a bit on the salty side though. Chocolate fondant is yum. Downsides would be (a) the music is a bit loud so you might have to loud if you are catching up with friends (b) considered i booked very early and there are seats by the windows. you would have thought they put you there for better view but they didn't. It's not busy at all so they could definitely be more thoughtful about that.

We had to book for weeks in advance, but it’s well worth it. The Tasting Menu is well thought out with good fresh ingredients. The steak is juicy. Red Red prawn soup is tastier than lobster soup. Salad is fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and at excellent tempo. Ambience is relaxing with tasty decor. The high price is well justified!

Ordered their 7 course dinner set and my suggestion is DO NOT do this and pls only order a la carte. As a typical italian restaurant, started with breads, then

1st course was Oyster and Champagne Jelly, which was good and a fresh combination

2nd was the Carpaccio di Tonno - as you can see, we were shocked, that was purely 5 tiny pieces of fishes and too tiny to the extent that we couldn't taste anything..... 😑

3rd was the beef tartare with caviar, of course they are good, its tartare and caviar and they cant be wrong

4th was the tagliolini and top with black truffle - the portion of the tagliolini was really too too too small and it is nothing fulfilling

5th was the little turbot "xiao long bao" with crayfish and citrus - which was good, cute, special and finally its something that worth ordering, but only 1 little dumpling wouldnt satisfy me - special texture for the outside and refreshing as a whole with the citrus on the side

6th was the grilled fish? Nth special and i got nth to comment 😑 look like sth that try to make u full, but not working at all

7th as the last one was the sorbet with caviar on top. Again, nothing special

Since we were not full at all after finishing the above, we ordered the Chitarra with Braised Oxtail Ragout - it was so good, al dente chitarra with the yum braised oxtail

We also ordered 3 more desserts, didnt show the chocolate lava cake (as it was just normal). Other 2 were

- cannoli filled with ricotta cheese, brinte's pistacchio and orange peel - that was good, crispy and fulfilling and worth trying

- tiramisu - it cant be wrong for an italian place, if it's wrong, that would be a disaster, but i would say, pici one is good enough already

Overall the 7 courses were $1500pp, and with everything its $2000pp. Also, they served really slow and we were almost starved to death

侍應好貼心咁將龍蝦湯分成2份 龍蝦湯 好濃郁但1 d都吾咸 !!! 飲完吾會 ‘確’喉


龍蝦意粉係手工麵黎 不過不失 意粉既汁 都好配 但有小小失望既係某一兩件龍蝦有小小吾新鮮 同經理講之後都即時offer換番碟新既比我地 但我地都8成飽了 可能飲左湯既關係 所以最後經理以最signature既甜品作補償
