朋友知我喜愛食大閘蟹,話帶我去一間位於中環的高級西餐廳食,我都感都出奇西餐都有大閘蟹?!去到是間好有情調的高級餐廳。點知去到見到餐牌真係有個大閘蟹套餐$498@人,這裡的廚師實在太有創意,也好有心機,知道大閘蟹季節,食材恰當,用他的創意設計出幾道驚喜菜色。晚餐開始先來個餐前包,有兩款味道,一款是鬆軟麵包再加上香草和芝士的薄餅,另一款是鬆軟麵包配上黑醋橄欖油,知道這店生蠔特別新鮮,於是先點半打法國生蠔,好creamy,夠鮮味,有啲還好大隻,夠肥美。叫了一個套餐,頭盤,係大閘蟹餅配子薑檸檬泡沫,配搭係前所未有,切開蟹餅內全是蟹肉,內裡也有蝦肉,外皮炸至脆口,再蘸了旁邊的子薑檸檬泡沫,更將蟹味昇華,旁邊還有名貴的魚子醬,令這道菜色味道層次感更豐富。套餐包了個龍蝦湯、朋友叫了個粟米濃湯;龍蝦湯味道濃郁, 還有蝦肉, 爽口彈牙; 粟米湯好滑,鮮甜粟米攪拌而成,清甜。套餐主菜係大閘蟹意大利飯,賣相超靚,有裝飾食用花,面層鋪滿蟹皇蟹肉,用料十足,抱住好奇心,究竟內裡有咩乾坤,一啖吃下,內有子薑配上意大利飯原來沒有辣的感覺,反而甜甜地,而且夾帶蟹膏,蟹皇味重,連埋三文魚籽,和加埋望落以為大粒魚子醬的原來是黑醋汁,好神奇,好似食份子料理咁,黑醋汁珠,夠曬驚喜,還有同大閘蟹好夾的紫蘇葉味,非常滿足。另外朋友叫了Dutch Ossobucco$328,米蘭式燴牛膝配藏紅花燴飯,牛膝燴到好淋,醬汁非常入味,飯面還有Saffron cheese,是一道有心機的菜色,壓袖是薑汁法式焦糖燉蛋,味道好夾,面放了一塊甜子薑,脆脆的焦糖加滑嫩薑味的燉蛋,感覺新鮮。飲品叫了Cappaccino和英式茶。 continue reading

年年哈囉喂晚中環蘭桂坊皆相當熱鬧,不過我只打算在附近吃個晚餐。士丹利街食廈內有家西式小店口啤不俗,環境簡約歐式。三款套餐皆吸引,我們各選一款,果然符合期望,組合有創意,賣相漂亮,味道亦出色。麵包新鮮麵包兩款,我較喜歡香草芝士,惹味十足,另一款平凡但軟熟,與陳醋橄欖油是基本的配搭。時令大閘蟹套餐 Special Mitten Crab Set Menu $498大閘蟹餅配子薑檸檬泡沫 3.5/5蟹餅內藏蟹粉及蟹肉,亦有蝦肉,半煎炸製作,酥脆外皮,伴以檸檬子薑、意大利黑醋汁及黑魚子醬。檸檬子薑正好泡沫平衡蟹餅的膩,回甘甜美。蘸著魚子醬添甜鹹香又是另一種味道。龍蝦濃湯 3.5/5在湯面上以忌廉畫上樹的圖案,何防少少點綴。湯頭香濃幼滑,湯𥚃面有幾粒有份量的龍蝦肉,口感新鮮有彈力。大閘蟹手工意大利麵 4.5/5蟹肉蟹粉配合自製手工麵條,黑白兩款,微曲似台灣麵,新鮮自製,麵條沾滿豐富的蟹肉蟹粉,還有紅黑魚子,十分滋味。法式焦糖薑汁蛋白 4/5特別用蛋白做,比較輕身,除了加了薑汁外還加了一些薑茸,有些創意。晩餐 $438  牡丹蝦配芒果乳酪沙律 4.5/5牡丹蝦刺身配上漂亮的芒果乳酪,以蛋白餅點綴,賣相漂亮。混合來吃,口感清新,我喜歡。精選餐湯-南瓜湯 4/5口感順滑清甜,三粒黑色脆餅討好。香炸法國黃油雞胸醸鵝胸火腿  3.5/5香炸法國黃油雞,成功炸至外皮香脆,肉白算嫩,釀入鵝胸火腿相信為增潤澤,不過效果一般,酥脆外皮加上雜莓沙律醬有助減低雞胸肉的嚡口。香甜粟米芝士餅配焦糖炮谷    3.5/5粟米做的芝士餅對我來說是新口味,焦糖炮谷討好。欣賞時令大閘蟹套餐,中西糅合,心水推薦。晚餐前菜的牡丹蝦配芒果乳酪沙律清新可口,值得一試。 continue reading

We visited at a very busy time but with a reservation. We ordered one dinner set and one homemade tagliolini for share!This has got to be one of the best cream of chestnut soups I have had. The chestnutty aroma lingers in your mouth and the soup texture is really smooth. This Hamachi Avocado Tartar served as an excellent appetizer. It feels like a Japanese fusion dish to me, hamachi bits crossover with avocado, topped with explosive fish roes plus an ingenious spin with fried fish skins. There is so much goodness packed in this starter that will certainly overwhelm your taste buds! Time for the mains! My first time having seared salmon stuffed with crab meat, this combo went really well together. The brie cheese vanilla cream sauce is the major highlight here. I liked the sauce as it didn’t overpower the juiciness of the salmon, also it was light and flavorful at the same time. For the lobster fans, this Rock Lobster Homemade Tagliolini (yes, homemade!) will not disappoint you. The portion was appropriate, I particularly liked the pasta as it has a unique chewy texture, perhaps attributable to the fact that it was homemade. The lobster was really fresh and the fish roes added made it very visually appealing. I appreciate that there are also cherry tomatoes added to it, providing a good balance to the dish. Last but not least, Churros with Hokey Pokey Ice Cream for dessert! My first time having Churros with ice cream. Amazing experience as the Churros was piping hot and freshly fried. Pairing with the chilly cold ice cream, perhaps an apt description would be it is the perfect Song of Ice and Fire! continue reading

開年飯同朋友食下法國菜,訂位app有半價。上到黎燈光半暗,情調浪漫,的確係法國菜既環境。餐牌有晚餐,亦有好多主餐牌選擇。首先食餐包,有香草軟包仲有蒜蓉脆包,配義大利醋同橄欖油。<Scallops and Tuna Tartar> ($178)面頭係海蘆筍,下面吞拿魚蓉配有黑芝麻、牛油果、帶子粒,味道鮮甜,口感豐富。<Blue Prawn Carpaccio> ($198)生蝦蓉上配有白酒啫喱、三文魚籽仲有魚子醬,海鮮味道更出。<Seafood Linguine> ($228)橄欖油飄香,扁意粉炒魷魚圈、番茄,上面有蝦一隻,份量不太大。<Beef Wellington> ($340)威靈頓牛柳預訂現有既,餐牌上並無呢道菜架。酥皮薄脆,牛柳軟嫩,師傅果然技術高超。呢度夜晚人唔多,絕對係情侶談心好去處,好好享受一餐法國菜。 continue reading

中環樓上鋪很多,好多都價錢比較偏貴,而且食物水準參差,但今日嚟到呢一間食物價錢合理,而且比我知道佢係有酒店廚師主理,就令到本人十分期待.去到嘅裝修十分之英倫風,令到你感覺到好高級,而且仲有專人招待,十分之貼心問你的要求,淨係個貼心服務已經好正啦.從裝修到餐單,甚至職員嘅用心,就知道啲一間食店對質素有一定嘅要求,所以唔諗咁多就嗌一個二人套餐去試吓,點知真係令我喜出望外,十分有驚喜,而且有兩杯紅酒或者白酒送,等我逐一去講解下佢哋嘅季節餐單.藍水晶蝦薄片一款令你意想不到的餐前小食,裏面用咗用手打的蝦肉,配上日式嘅蟹子,西式嘅黑松露,意想不到的是,竟然可以令到那些蝦肉更加鮮甜,加上設計美觀,令人愛不釋手,這個西日配搭,十分驚喜。.龍蝦濃湯一飲個龍蝦湯就知道係佢哋自己親自整的龍蝦湯,裏面有好重嘅龍蝦膏味,配上西洋的白蘭地調製,令到整個龍蝦湯都十分之有這個西洋特色,濃而不鹹.扒龍蝦拼煙燻羊架廚師用上新鮮嘅龍蝦,加上日式煮法配上牛油,令到整隻龍蝦更加新鮮香口好味,至於羊架,廚師控到個火候十分適中,羊架唔會太生,肉質的水份亦保持得好好,十分嫩口.甜品:香甜粟米芝士餅配焦糖爆谷聽個名呢就以為十分之油膩,但其實黎到嘅時候呢,就好適合今日嘅主題,就係西式加其他款式嘅配搭,芝士餅配上粟米,再加上炮谷估唔到真係會咁夾,令到你覺得個甜品簡直係整個晚上的完美。 continue reading
