早前在Openrice看到這裡有這個紅豆加Baileys的甜，感覺很吸引，所以這次便特意前來試一試。星期六的下午時間來到，這時食客不多。由於心中一早已經有目標的甜品，所以坐下不久便可落單。這個Baileys雪糕紅豆冰，底層是碎冰加上Baileys，上面加上粒粒大大粒的紅豆，再放上一個雲尼拿雪糕再灑上可可粉。這個甜品的紅豆夠大粒，是靚紅豆來的，煮得夠淋但仍是完整的一粒粒，賣相很好。可能我這杯的Baileys下得不夠多，味道比較淡了一點，若果可以再下多一點便完美了。…Read More

朋友F生日，她提議到她從未來過的紅磡生記蟹粥。吃完之後，當然少不了女孩最愛的甜品。這一帶我不熟路，還好現在有的是smart phone，只見友人馬上上網查找，最近的，是這一間糖蓮子。門口有一個人氣甜品龍虎榜，最強最人氣的，都離不開朱古力，這裡標明是用Valrhona朱古力，翻查一下google，原來Valrhona是法國牌子，價格好像和Godiva差不多！我真是有眼不識泰山。進店後，才留意到原來這裡曾經得過明火食神爭霸戰銀獎，怪不得糖蓮子這個名這麼耳熟，因為之前已經有留意到不少食友光顧過。美女與野獸就是得獎作品，所謂「美女與野獸」，其實分別是指兩種不同的甜品，「美女」是指雲呢拿籽奶凍，「野獸」則是62% Valrhona朱古力蛋糕。店方提示最好先享用「美女」，才再處決「野獸」。「美女」白如雪，感覺吹彈可破。奶味合格，口感滑溜，但另一重點，在肉眼能見的雲呢拿籽之下，卻看得出雲呢拿籽不是很多，雲呢拿味也因此不是很重，滑溜的皮膚卻欠了點溫柔的內涵，這位「美女」是有點缺失了。「野獸」也稍嫌斯文，Valrhona朱古力味合格，但如果這野獸更霸道我會更喜歡；朱古力蛋糕質感似brownie卻又太鬆散，用叉吃很易散開，也是有所缺失。如果把「美女」和「野獸」相擁在一起，平衡是較好，但未如想像中好，如果是得獎作品，我是有點失望了。上面的生果有點畫蛇添足，可能是我的癖好，如果吃朱古力，我是喜歡朱古力味還殘留在舌頭和味蕾的感覺。友人的Valrhona朱古力三重奏是朱古力雪糕、朱古力蛋糕和焦糖朱古力慕絲。朱古力雪糕感覺普通，細問店員，竟是Häagen-Dazs？或許是我太久沒吃過Häagen-Dazs朱古力味，我真的吃不出來，如果真是Häagen-Dazs，也解釋得到這個價錢收費何來。朱古力蛋糕和美女與野獸的是一樣的，就不多說了。焦糖朱古力慕絲特別，甜的焦糖和苦的朱古力所帶出來的化學作用很有趣，不過份量較少，未能盡興。埋單價錢偏貴，可能附近欠缺有水準的甜品店，獨市生意下不愁寂寞。唐英年感情缺失，糖蓮子給我的感覺也是有所缺失。和你相識的日子不算長，但感覺是頗投緣。在此祝妳生日快樂，愈來愈靚，修身成功，食得玩得訓得，永遠開心。…Read More

隔左一段時間無黎 , 劈頭一句 :”好耐無黎啦wor , 近排好忙ar ? 與秘密好友用膳過後甜魔作怪! 二人決定光顧附近十分出名的糖蓮子可能因為閒日 店內不太多人 不用等位 真好運!打開menu後 "嘩!!!!!" 密密麻麻的字竟可佔用5~6張紙 中式糊類湯圓,西式甜品,港式水果撈....真是你講得出都有呀結果患有選擇困難症的我們....用了15分鐘才打定主意.....既然來到糖蓮子當然要嚐嚐得獎名物啦,看見心太軟亦是推介之作 唯有把my favourite留待下次吧 哈哈我們二人order了 美女與野獸($4x) 和 心太軟+綠茶雪糕($4x)先說說得獎名物吧 美女與野獸中美女是指白色的混呢拿奶凍而野獸則是朱古力蛋糕老闆娘建議先吃吃"美女" 再吃"野獸"第一啖吃下去 是一陣冰涼的混呢拿香甜味 我認為是六分混呢拿四分甜味 接著我已忍不住去嚐嚐旁邊的朱古力蛋糕 吃了第一口 呀!!!不得了不得了呀!!!!一下子明白到它能得獎真是實至名歸這件cake居然只是微甜的 襯上一絲濃濃的可可味!!!!!!!!!! 我在標題所指的'清新'其實非指美女而是這件暖烘烘的朱古力野獸一口冰冷一口溫暖, 一啖軟滑一啖厚實, 一陣香甜一陣濃郁! 這就是我當時的感覺~味覺與觸覺上的交錯及調和確實令人難以忘懷 那一估清新的朱古力味成功把混呢拿甜味帶上更高層次 我懷疑老闆娘事先要我們先吃一口原味混呢拿奶凍是為了製造更鮮明的比較!!!
