由大埔街市步行前往吉之島的中途站,順道來一個早餐.幾位阿姐不單有禮,而且是有求必應,反正這一類港式茶餐廳大家大同小異,亦不想冒險,簡簡單單的要了火腿通,雙蛋及凍檸檬茶.火腿通是熱辣辣的一碗上,個人而言很怕通粉過早淥得軟淋淋,粉質出曬,連少許咬口也沒有,但此店算是掌握得不俗,湯底雖有味精,不太重,可接受之中.蛋是即叫即煎,軟燸而有蛋香,蛋黃剛剛熟,很滿意.難得的是近年什麼都加價的情況下,凍檸檬竟然不另加錢,實在有點意外,又加了不少分.坐一會,看一會報紙,又要起行了. continue reading

上星期到大埔探親戚,一行五人落銜揾食,姨丈話有間新菜館開張,不如試吓。當時係晚上七点,望入去唔係好多人,正猶豫之際,有一個熱情的女伙記招呼我地入去,坐下發現裝修一般,店員介紹了幾個招牌菜,本來諗住食飽肚算數,但係越食越好味,同埋見到隔籬嗰枱帶來海鮮加工,聞到香噴噴的豉椒炒蟹、垂涎欲滴的炒蟶子及好似手掌大的豉汁蒸扇貝,引到我哋流哂口水,宜得即刻去街市買海鮮回來加工。但係頭先食完的招牌菜已經十分滿足,事頭婆同我地講下次嚟可預先打電話代訂海鮮喎!平心而論,嗰晚食嘅招牌菜實非一般貨式,值得向各位介紹。1. 有鷄而冇口水的「口水鷄」--肉嫩有鷄味,調味恰到好處2. 爽口彈牙炸墨魚丸,食得到墨魚鮮味,但小心燙咀3. 雪裹藏龍--睇名唔知食乜野,原來係嫩滑嘅旦白蓋上兩只手指咁粗的虾仁,味道值得一讚4. 馬拉盞炒通菜水準一般,沒有驚喜。 continue reading
