I first visited this shop 6 years ago and it was one of the first places I ate in Hong Kong. I thought it was good, but I didn't know any better. Now, after living here for 5 years, I still think it's one of the best shops for local food. I also just realized that I haven't yet written a review for one of my favorite dinner spots, I figured it was about time to write a little something.This place is a treasure. it is a classic, Cantonese dai pai dong 大排檔 with decent prices and a few stand out dishes. It is consistently good, reliable, and usually packed, so come early for dinner (before 7pm i'd say) especially with a big group. The most highly recommended dishes for me are the garlic fried chicken (ask for this as soon as you sit down because they sometimes run out), eggplant in clay pot, cuttlefish cake, sweet and sour pork, clams in black bean sauce, and fried calamari. Whenever we come here, we get these dishes without fail. In the past I've also enjoyed the black pepper beef stir fry. Overall this place is a gem and if your in western district or near HKU and looking for a fun, excellent quality, dai pai dong experience, come to this place. continue reading

價格好貴!點咗一份炒飯要68!一份蒸魚128!真是上當。而且買單之前都沒有人話給我知是幾多錢,到買單先知炒飯要68感覺好似被騙了,再也不會幫襯。不知道為什麼會有客人 continue reading

[ 魚香茄子 ]鹹魚用料有質素,夠香味,唔會死鹹茄子滑.[ 蒜蓉炒通菜 ]Unremarkably good .[ 椒鹽九肚魚 ]超級推介!呢間椒鹽九肚魚做得極好味!調味恰到好處,粉薄,魚有口感。必叫!.[ 炸魷魚 ]同椒鹽九肚魚處理方法差唔多,亦做得非常好。魷魚大件,彈牙,口感一流!.[ 粟米斑腩 ]粟米清甜,粟米羹調得幾好,唔會太結。但魚太厚粉,無口感。.[ 腰果炒牛柳粒 ]腰果幾脆,牛柳粒比同學食哂,評價唔到haha .[ 炸子雞 ]做得好好味!調味啱啱好,而且唔油膩。.[ 沙律豬扒 ]呢個餸都幾莫名其妙,沙律醬加豬扒⋯⋯唔係話難食,但豬扒唔應該咁煮bo......海記食物幾好,不過約埋一班人開餐,要留意街市環境接唔接受到。我地7:30開始坐,都感覺到油煙。去到8:30左右,周圍得一兩枱,先開始無油煙,舒服返。.仲有呢度有老鼠haha.埋單一人80,抵食 continue reading

行完山到就行去港大搵下午茶,結果無野岩食,再走到一田附近諗來諗去都唔知食乜。都係要求openrice大人指點😂😂結果來左石塘咀熟食中心呢個係店小兒介紹,過佢個牛好得,但我地覺等好鹹,越食越鹹,可能我地無叫飯呢個都係店小兒介紹,炸墨魚餅有墨魚味,炸粉都好薄,但炸得燶咗d,我覺得太過冧身,可以撻多幾下使之彈牙點會好味得多黃金蝦,好大隻,雖然顏色唔夠黃、但鹹蛋味好夠,最👍🏻呢個魚湯魚肚浸時菜,呢個幾好味,但原來要豆苗貴$30,又唔話比我地知😒😒三個人食4碟野,爽呀一共$432 continue reading

唔係我老豆睇報紙介紹呢間餐廳,住咗喺呢區咁耐都唔知有間咁嘅嘢~成家都鐘意食海鮮,啱啱喺台灣旅行返嚟,仲好懷念佢哋嘅彈牙龍蝦、鮮味花蟹…… 所以就嚟海記試吓菜。一行三人叫咗一隻蟹、一碟蒜蓉蝦、一條魚、一碟豆苗同一碟避風塘三寶。盛惠 $800 幾。先講服務:可能我哋都算早食飯(未到晚上 7 時已到),人未係咁多,所以叫人問嘢落單都冇問題。食到咁上下,人開始多,見幫襯嘅都係熟客多,所以老闆都唔使點招呼。我哋第一次幫襯問長問短,老闆都唔嫌我哋煩哈哈!廚房阿哥出菜時仲同我哋傾咗兩句,交流台灣海鮮心得。一致認同台灣海鮮靚,但佢哋煮得唔夠好,嘥咗啲靚海鮮。最緊要嘅食物質素:海鮮係冇問題,好新鮮,係靚貨。豆苗都清晒,好嫩!三寶個蝦膠彈牙到呢~ 我不嬲唔食三寶,因為唔鐘意食外面個青椒紅椒,通常淨係食個魚肉哈哈!海記呢個我可以成個食!不過真係唔夠避風塘,我哋仲攞咗碟辣椒醬嚟點。如果呢碟可以整得惹味啲,呢餐就可以俾足 100 分!衛生:雖然係熟食中心,不過碗碟筷子各樣都乾淨衛生,食得安心。環境:真係天氣涼先可以幫襯,熱啲我都唔得。是夜一路食一路有涼風吹送,正。可惜香港係熱天多呢……價錢:可能你覺得食熟食中心要 $800 幾蚊係貴,但係比起啲所謂西餐廳,食個 set dinner 都要 $200 幾,仲要唔一定係好食;而家只係 $800 幾,可以一枱海鮮,仲要啱食、好食,我覺得係值回票價。食完呢餐,我老豆隔咗唔夠一星期又心思思想去食!海鮮雖然好食,但都唔可以食得咁密呀!題外話,老闆娘是晚找錯錢。雖屬無心之失,但都提醒我去到邊度,都記住睇清楚找續。 continue reading
