Introduction
This congee shop from Yuen Long opens a second branch on Island side. There is a great variety to choose from, but the signature is the freshly cooked chicken congee in claypot. Chicken is cooked with conpoy and dried shrimp to bring out flavours. Other side dishes include fried fishballs and roasted pigeons are worth a try.

今日大失所望，这间之前都时常来光顾，有粥有炒粉面，小菜等！今次夜晚8点几来到，手机落单点了豉油皇海中虾和炸豆腐以及艇仔粥，艇仔粥还算过的去，后上了152蚊一碟虾，得10只手指尾大的虾，干巴巴的都唔够铺开系细碟上，还有一半地方揾生菜丝搭救，虾一点锅气都没有，干蒸蒸应该系半成品再翻炸的，求其再加点汁兜翻热。还有侍应做事唔小心，拉开张台，整杯水倒泻滴落我脚同鞋上面，好彩唔系滚水，气到我唔记得影果几只虾🦐的衰样。以后都唔会来吃，差劲，失望。花钱买难受☹️现在香港饮食业就系这样对待的客人，冇心机做好的食物。唔怪得人人都外游去消费！今时今日这种做事态度，迟早玩完！本人很少写评论，但今日对此遭遇，实在难以忍受😣要给差评👎…Read More

This restaurant consistently mixed up the order every time, and it almost seems they do it deliberately. When we call them about the issue, they always responded with bad attitude and just asked us to cancel the order if we are not happy and they wont redeliver(as we live nearby we request the right food to be redelivered, and they can pickup the wrong order). Ended up my two young kids have no appropriate dishes to eat, we end up have to cook additional food for the kids. Food order platforms need to blacklist this restaurnsy and prohibit this type of behavior, or else loyal customers will just switch platform to ensure we have a happy food purchasing experience…Read More

喺元朗四圍遊走，曾經仲幫襯過新記雞粥。由細細個到依家，新記雞粥呢個名，喺腦海中都消失咗，直到今日去筲箕灣買餸，見到一間茶餐廳，夠光猛又企理，加上疫情期間，坐得鬆動嘅餐廳真係好重要，再望吓個名，原來新記雞粥由元朗開到去筲箕灣喇。即叫即炸嘅鯪魚球，熱辣辣！大大粒夠晒彈牙，而且入面完全無細骨，啖啖肉。當然要加上蜆蚧汁，更加惹味。作為招牌嘅貴妃雞粥，粥完美索晒雞嘅精華，充滿雞嘅油香。而雞肉好滑，鹹香味十足，個人鍾意加上少少糊椒粉，更加好味。食粥又點少得腸粉呢，今日就叫咗個叉燒腸粉，腸粉好滑，而入面嘅叉燒好足料，唔錯。炒到乾身，夠鑊氣，而河粉仲keep到好滑，加上辣醬就更加滋味啦。除咗粥品同炒粉麵飯，呢到連小菜都有，我哋就叫咗魚香茄子煲，鹹香味十足，熱辣辣，份量又多，配白飯一流。…Read More
