又是跟老媽在筲箕灣會面的日子,豈料手提電話竟遺留在辦公地點,即時變成斷了的天線般,對外聯絡全給癱瘓了!還未選擇食肆的我,唯有在東大街作出人肉搜索。最終選了幾年前進駐筲箕灣的夜功府。最初碰到夜功府的時候,對這小店嘖嘖稱奇!一家經營泰菜的餐廳就在暗暗的巷子內,玻璃門一拉開,室內面積兩眼看清,面積要跟日本的小型拉麵店差不多。一看夜功府的餐單,大都是泰式燒烤食物的類別,其他種類的選擇極少,不過店主卻很親切,看到我們迷惘的眼神時,便立即上前給我們建議,並圈出他的心水推介。菜點好後,隨即為我們送上每人一份的醬汁,分別有海鮮、青檸及酸辣醬,三款味道均調得清晰細膩,與泰國的地道口味頗為接近。柚子沙律是推介之一,用上瓷碗盛載,賣相較為特別。柚子沙律的配料有乾蝦仔、椰絲、花生、乾蔥,生菜與及柚子肉。食材也新鮮,入口椰香甚為濃厚,而原粒的花生倒覺沒有碎粒那般顯著;論到最重要的醬汁,確實只帶點酸味,略為平乏,亦有欠惹味。芭提雅辣肉腸是夜功府自家製作,選用芭提雅地道的香葉、香料,和較優質的豬肉。入口腸衣脆薄,混合了香葉的豬肉香氣濃郁、辣度強勁,泰式的風格活靈活現,且豬肉絕不肥膩,味道非常出色!怕太辣的話,可用生菜、青瓜,連同生蒜包裹,蘸上喜好的醬汁,又能吃出另一種風味。老媽欲吃燒牛肉,於是選擇了安格斯牛肉串。牛肉質素似乎一般,有些部位較為韌身,燒烤香氣亦只是平平。老媽也愛喝酒,有燒烤的佐酒食物,當然少不了啤酒。一看到元朗楊氏烏頭,就知道是信心與健康食材的保證,店主入貨認真有眼光。老媽、老公和我也同是愛魚之人,所以不容錯過。烏頭雖然未屆最肥美的階段,但肉質保留細嫩幼滑,一來有賴楊氏的出品,二來夜功府的燒烤功力亦不可或缺。烏頭肚子塞滿了香芧,魚肚位的魚肉充滿了香芧的清新香氣,實在討人歡喜,不用蘸上任何醬汁,光嚐著純美的魚肉,已令人相當的滿意!再來也是燒烤之物。老公對羊念念不忘,加上我也喜歡羊扒,於是要來了兩件 Medium Rare。羊扒生熟度控制得不錯,入口肉汁四濺,羊肉嫩滑鬆化,簡單的調味亦相當恰好,若香氣可進一步提升,就更加完美了!夜功府雖然細小,但燈光、設計等顯出用心,置身於斗室未感侷促,反而服務效果更加專注及細心。尤其喜歡洗手間外,洗手盤與梯間的一角,無論色調與設計均見心思所在。夜功府的英文名稱為 Maeklong Station,就是距曼谷一個多小時車程的鐵道市集。由於每天只有六班火車經過,沿著火車軌兩旁的攤檔都將帳篷伸延到火車軌上,在火車軌上形成一條行人路,方便購物人士。一旦有火車經過,檔主們便會快捷兼動作一致地將帳篷拉回火車軌的兩旁,當火車駛過後,帳篷又會重返火車軌上,形成一個相當趣怪的情境,吸引不少遊客專程造訪。莫非夜功府位處於巷子內,店主有感巷子內的帳篷,與 Maeklong Station 的市集擁有相若的環境,而且大家都要善用每一寸空間,因而為餐廳命名為 Maeklong Station?Read More

This little restaurant is located inconspicuously in an alley on main street east. Follow the smell and you will find it. They are famous for their grilled dishes, but I like their green curry as well. The kitchen and the dining area are located on opposite side of the alley. I wonder how they will transfer the dishes if it is pouring rain even if it is just a few steps away. For lunch, we ordered the green curry with grilled pork neck and green curry with grilled chicken. The green curry arrived on a separate bowl from the rice and the meat. I like to mix the curry with the rice for better flavor. The curry is spicy and the texture is more liquid than cream, which I like as creamier curry can be too heavy at times. The spiciness was just right and adds to the grilled meat should you choose to dip in it. The pork neck was chewy and the chicken was grilled nicely with crispy skin. 早前朋友相約來到東大街的夜功府吃飯,店子就在地鐵站出口旁邊,位置十分方便。夜功府吃的是泰北菜清邁菜,跟其他泰國地區不同,食物的辛辣感會低一點,味道亦相對較清。大廚每天會從上環街市選購海鮮,亦有元朗楊氏烏頭魚,主要都是燒來吃,是他們的招牌菜,這晚我們亦有點來吃。不過先來些串燒,燒泰式臘腸,$14,看見餐牌上有泰式臘腸供應,這是比較少在香港吃到的清邁食品,外貌跟常吃的臘腸差不多,吃下味道就多分甜味,腸皮燒得微脆,口感更好。燒雞皮,一小片雞皮燒後十分香脆可口,要是能配口啤酒就好。燒美國特級牛肩肉,$32,及燒豬頸肉,$38,牛肩肉肉稍為韌口,質感未算軟腍,相反豬頸肉爽口,燒得不過火,質感不會乾身,比牛肉較為好吃,但表面可以再多點焦香。不過這裡用的都不是炭爐,所以香氣難免會弱一點。燒毛茄,$14,長而幼身的毛茄味道鮮甜,值得一試。另外,店內的醬汁都是自很煮製,有辣有不辣,跟海鮮、肉類可沾上不同醬汁。燒肉腸,這肉腸比剛才的燒牛肉更吸引,薄薄的妥肝腸衣燒得帶焦,腸肉混有香料,不用蘸汁已經美味。自製燒墨魚棒,$16,墨魚肉包著竹蔗來燒,入口熱燙燙的,墨魚肉口感爽彈,內裡混雜著不少魚粒,喜歡它豐富的口感。泰式生蝦刺身,$98,吃泰菜也喜歡點這刺身來吃,汁料固然重要,蝦的質素也是重點。這裡選用的蝦身雖不太大,但蝦肉爽口鮮甜,沾上微辣的醬汁,令人吃得開胃。跟著是海鮮鹽燒10吋大花竹蝦皇及燒蘇格蘭蟶子王,蝦身有不少蝦膏,特別是蝦頭部份更多,味道夠鮮甜,而蟶子王貨色同樣不錯,肉腍帶微爽。簡單的以海鹽調味,已能引出味道。燒楊氏烏頭魚,$158,是推介要試的菜式,選用來自元朗的楊氏烏頭魚,其特點是魚以來自台灣的飼料在香港養殖,魚肉吃下不帶泥腥味,加上鹽後來燒烤。上碟時,魚還跟著綠色小牌,以標明魚種。魚肉扎實,味道尤鮮,毫不帶泥味,值得要試。這夜另一款喜愛的菜式就是曼谷香葉生菜包,$66,很想喝一些較辣的菜,就把這個點了大辣。肉碎加上不同香調炒後,味道甚香,以生菜包著來吃,充滿肉汁醬汁,不算很辣,但香很口,味又帶點甜,很惹味。馬拉盞炒通菜,$42,每餐飯不可缺少蔬菜,原想點芥蘭,但店員說這天的通菜更嫩綠,於是就來一份通菜。最後甜品是芒果糯米飯,$42,糯米煮得軟腍綿糯,跟著新鮮又香甜的芒果,再淋上椰汁,甜中帶鹹,唯獨飯粒欠點黏稠。整體食物還好,特別愛吃烏頭魚及生菜包,這夜雖不是週末,但也見到有不少客人,令東大街這食街變得更熱鬧。Read More

夜功府,睇過一啲飲食雜誌嘅介紹,o尋日終於有時間同太太、太太嘅朋友一齊去嘗試佢哋菜餚。由於太太鍾意食魚,所以就叫咗條燒楊氏烏頭魚。老闆話:由於佢哋只會選擇優質嘅烏頭魚,每日供應量有限,所以,老闆建議食客最好預先打電話落單(週末、週日、公眾假期),以免無法提供。老闆話:呢條烏頭嘅烹調方法比較特別,原條烏頭,唔打麟,放入爐消,咁樣燒法係靠魚麟鎖住魚嘅鮮味同肉質。15分鐘後,烏頭上檯,用筷子一夾,嘩!成塊魚皮起哂出來,一啲魚肉都無酟到,塊魚皮嘅質感同口感似我哋成日食到嘅炸魚皮,但係又唔會太韌同太硬。老闆話:一般人食魚,不論河魚或者海魚,都喜歡點一啲醬汁去食。但係老闆建議唔好點任何醬汁,結果,真係感覺完全唔同,like!餐檯上,有三種醬汁,老闆話:始終有啲食客喜歡點醬汁去食,佢話前面醬汁左、右兩格係泰國辣味醬汁,中間一格係青草醬汁,老闆建議點中間嘅清草醬汁,的確,入口清新而且能夠帶出魚嘅鮮味,正。跟住上檯係蘇格蘭聖子王。我曾經去過西貢、屯門三聖、流浮山食過聖子王,我唔敢講佢哋聖子王嘅質數或者烹調方法有問題,每次食落去都有相同問題,有沙同腥味都幾重!老實講,如果唔係我太太嘅點呢味菜餚,我個人係唔會落order!但係,今次所點嘅聖子王,真係令我再次對聖子王著迷。首先,夾上來仲未放入口嘅時候,完全聞唔到腥味,換來嘅,係陣陣香草味道。老闆話:呢啲係佢哋嘅特別烹調技巧,唔方便透露,同樣,佢建議我哋唔好點任何醬汁去品嚐。放入口後,火喉剛剛好,肉質鮮嫩又彈牙,最重要係完全食唔到一粒沙,正!第三度菜餚係鹽燒大虎蝦。大虎蝦相信大家都食過,好多時食到嘅一係就唔夠大(大半隻手掌),一係就夠哂大隻但係肉質唔夠彈口。但係,呢度嘅大虎蝦夠哂大隻(超過8吋長)而且肉質夠哂彈牙,最重要係蝦鬚蝦腳幫你剪哂之餘,佢地連蝦頭同蝦肚都界開一刀,食客起殼同食蝦頭就方便得多。最後,仲叫咗燒羊架、燒泰式辣腸、燒雞軟骨、自製燒墨魚棒、香葉抄花甲同埋清邁生菜包,九百零蚊找數,五個人來講,完全超值:)Read More

昨天約了班舊同學出來聚舊,之前有朋友介紹這間店舖,知道東大街出名多美食,即使大家住得幾遠都出來試試,可能因為早去又book了位,所以好快已可坐定定落單,服務員好有禮貌又熱情,好快已有得食。由於我地人多(5人),可以試多d不同款式,價錢唔貴又唔收加一,而家出面好難搵了,雖然店舖不太,但有2層,又有洗手間(好乾淨),環境舒服,又近MTR,如果有20幾人可以包場開party呢!講返食物,先來一個椰青,多汁多肉又冰凍、燒雞翼大大隻、牛肋粒好多肉汁、生菜包及沙律有好新鮮好清新的感覺、魚腸好特別(聽聞廚師用了很多心機做)、炒飯同燒茄子味道一流又適中,但我最喜愛是10吋長的大蝦,有很多膏,啖啖肉又新鮮、蟶子王都好大隻,好鮮味、烏頭好大條、好香,肉質帶鮮味,仲有芒果糯米飯,好香的芒果及椰汁味,味道不太甜,恰到好處。整體上,今晚一眾好友都好滿意這間新店,雖然而家出面都有好多燒烤店,但這裡有些食物是獨特的,至少是專門做泰式燒烤,仲有海鮮。我覺得這間小店在這區都有發展潛力及競爭力,如果設有包場派對package及甜品多些款式就會更好,至少應該要有地道的”榴槤”系列甜品,不過成班老友都食得好盡慶,坐了三個鐘都冇比人趕,服務員又好細心預備濕紙巾給食客,所以我要急不及待寫來讚賞他們,希望遲d可以見到佢地在不同區有分店或者做埋團購啦,加油”夜功府”,果然係食過夜粥的”夜功夫”! ^^Read More

早幾日有位朋友推介我午餐可以去這裡試試,因為飲品不論凍定熱又唔駛另加錢,份量適中,不會太多又不會太少,於是我今日就去了試下,一入到去,我先望一下環境,覺得都裝修得好靚,坐低之後,我叫了一個青咖喱豬頸肉飯,等了十分鐘左右就到了,第一眼望落去,就覺得過份量少左D咁wo,心想夠唔夠飽呢?當食完之後就覺得岩岩好,有7至8成飽,好適合我一陣開工,講返個飯先,青咖喱甜中帶些少辣,唔錯,但對鐘意食辣的朋友來講可能就會覺得差D,豬頸肉味道適中燒得夠香,但我聽到其他枱的人話豬頸肉很䶢,可能我食得比較濃味所以覺得岩岩好啦Read More

兩星期前,到東大街晚飯後,路過看見特式小店'夜功府'剛開張,小店裝修很有特式,門面擺設亦精緻,因已吃過晩飯,我們一行四人便入內點了飲品和自家制魚棒,聊聊天,環境十分舒服,魚棒很有特色,椰青很清甜,不錯!因朋友提議再到此小店一試,一行人再到此吃晚飯,我們四人點了以下菜式:- 招牌清邁腸$68,很特別,老闆說是廚師媽媽親手每天新鮮弄制的,把香料和豬肉釀入豬腸,味道一流,很香口很特別,在出面泰餐從未吃過。- 燒楊氏烏頭$158,魚很新鮮,沒泥味,唔腥,點上秘制海鮮辣汁味道好味又刺激,本地魚場飼養唔怕受污染,值得推介。- 曼谷生菜包$66,肉碎內有米碎,香口惹味,口感好,不錯!- 夜功府炒金邊粉$68,味道不錯,蝦肉爽口,讃!- 串燒牛肋條$22,有牛味,有咬口又juicy,驚喜!- 串燒雞奕兩隻$18,不錯!- 串燒雞軟骨$12,佐酒一流!- 泰式燒爉腸$14,香口又驚喜,超值!- 自制墨魚棒$32兩條,把墨魚肉釀在蔗上,鮮甜又好味,特色。- 燒豬頸肉沙律$58,芹菜紅洋蔥配以香辣豬頸肉,好!又飲又吃,大滿足!:)(原來此店有焗大頭蝦,但那天沽清,下次再來試試先!)Read More

同男友到泡泡茶買嘢飲,順便試下旁邊新開的串燒店,裝修骨子,價錢唔平,但有少量精品之作,燒豬頸、雞串一般行貨,全靠店家提供的三式泰汁提味,牛肋肉甚有驚喜👍,有𡁻口得嚟又有油香同🐮牛味;羊架🐑香料味不夠,但肉質嫩滑;茄子用泰國紅蝦米調味可惜火喉未掌握得到,燒魷魚鬚鮮味十足賣相討好,炒通菜大路出品,可以一試,最估唔到燒泰國臘腸香甜惹味👍一試難忘,反而店家推薦的清邁腸只有香料味未合港人心水,三式泰汁水準一般,略為稀身,未夠惹味,但小店用心製作,應該有改善嘅餘地⋯Read More
