Without realising, Korean food and drama etc have already play a part in our daily lives. We can find a Korean restaurant popping out at every streets and corners of Hong Kong and it was not surprising. Korean food was known to be flavourful and healthier. My wife and i were shopping in Causeway Bay and we happened to find out that Goobne Chicken has just opened another outlet in Causeway Bay. Knowing it, we decided that our dinner will be settled there. Goobne Chicken was made famous by serving customers with healthy version of fried chicken. It claimed to contain less fats since it does not use a single drop of oil. It has expanded rapidly in Hong Kong and has 6 branches in Hong Kong already. Beside their signature chicken which we can choose from many version, they sell many other types of dood as well. Special eggs roll - It was made with the freshest vegetables and egg. Cucumber, carrot & ham etc was rolled up with egg. It looked like the egg version of bibimbap. The egg roll was coated with sauce on top of it when served. I was quite surprised that they could make the egg taste so soft, and every bite was full of ingredients in it and was nicely done. Shark blood rita (alcohol) - This drink was one of their best selling drinks and it comes in 2 version - alcohol and non-alcohol type. From the look of the photos, it was really huge. The shark was just a gimmick, placed at the side of the glasses. It was meant as a decor so that the drink will not look too plain looking. Even though i ordered the alcohol version, i could not taste much alcohol in it even though i was not a heavy drinker. The drink was too sweet for my liking, though it was fruity.
