Chotto Maki (廈門街)

Anyone from 604 and miss those Vancouver style sushi rolls like me? I remember all those BC roll, California roll, spicy tuna, chopped scallop, dragon rolls etc... I guess the owner of chotto maki was from Vancouver 604 as well, all the rolls there remind me of the ones from van. And they got this 604 Crunch roll too! I have become a regular customer here, my favourite maki are Black Mega, Spice me up, 604 crunch… I have also tried sea monster, mango dynamic and DIY roll.. DIY roll is awesome coz u get to choose everything u like in 1 roll, but it costs more, $88 each… a bit pricy.. so I usually just stick with their rolls from the menu. Black mega is my favourite coz it’s made up of negitoro, chopped scallop, tempura crunch, all my favourite! It would be great if they can swap the black sesame sauce to spicy Mayo , I really love spicy Mayo a lot, I always add $3 for the extra spicy Mayo for all of their rolls. 今日早左收工經過灣仔，之前朋友介紹依間特色卷物唔錯，就諗住外賣返去同屋企人食😋雖然間鋪門面唔大，但係勝在佢logo易認，好快趣就搵到間鋪。因為五點幾去到，店裏面冇咩客人。雖然店裏面座位唔算多，但係睇落都坐得都舒服。收銀枱前螢幕都可以睇到餐牌。舖頭有好多款特色飯卷可以揀，亦都可以自己自創啱自己口味嘅卷物。最後因為我懶得去諗，最後起餐牌上面揀咗兩款特色卷物。首先我揀咗依個Mango Dynamite。芒果好甜，帶少少酸，加埋中間嘅炸蝦一齊食，食落去好Fresh，唔會覺得好油或者好漏。第二隻卷物我叫左依個Beef-Iyaki。卷物中間有韓國街邊成日見到嘅炸魚片，亦都塞滿咗好多Juicy牛肉，一邊食一邊漏汁，好正🤤 同埋依隻卷偏大嚿，女仔可能要分開幾啖食先食得晒。總括而言，依間小舖所買嘅卷物，老闆都有比心機諗點樣mix and match，味道都唔錯，值得推介！…Read More

又到年尾，揀咗聖誕假之後清假，太早食完brunch，下午茶時間覺得好肚餓，所以去咗Chotto Maki 食壽司。見天氣凍凍地，最後揀咗烏冬、炸雞、同埋兩款壽司。因為趕住返屋企嘅關係，我揀咗外賣拎走。舖頭包得好有心機，唔會擔心烏冬倒瀉又或者食物變涼。雖然搭車比想像中耐左，要半個鐘之後先返到屋企，但係炸雞仍然仲好暖，原來佢哋用咗錫紙袋，食落去啲雞皮都仲好脆，而且雞肉都好Juicy。烏冬原來係昆布腐皮烏冬，雖然冇其他餸，但係個昆布湯都幾好飲，腐皮食落去甜甜地，而烏冬就算浸左一段時間都仲係好彈牙。大壽司叫咗Beef-Iyaki，非常之足料，要分幾啖先食完。雖然熟牛肉壽司比較少見，但係食落去有腐皮、牛肉、牛油果、蟹子幾種唔同嘅味道同口感，非常豐富。另外再叫咗細壽司Mango Dynamite，芒果甜甜地，味道非常清新，配合鰻魚汁非常惹味，同時天婦羅蝦嘅味道亦都非常突出，唔會被芒果搶晒。買單計$200都唔使，但係已經食到好飽…Read More
