I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so yesterday after an appointment at Admiralty a colleague and I dropped by for lunch. Ham & Sherry is conveniently located on Ship Street by The Pawn, J Residence, Koh Thai, Bo Innovation, etc., beside a tram stop.Weather was bad so I'm guessing that's why the place wasn't too busy but we slotted into our bar seats anyway to try the food. Not overly dressed, which I appreciated. Good sized portion for a starter.Chicken “Paella"A good enough hot plate of Spanish paella (like risotto). I wish it were a bit creamier because the colder it got the drier it got. On the other hand I was eating verrry verrry slowly... oh, and be careful of that hot plate, burnt my arm on it.Australian beef bacon cheeseburgerSurprisingly good! Do yourself a favour though and try to eat it fast to enjoy the juicy patty. Of course I had to have dessert: Lemon cake, matcha tea, toffee, raspberry & balsamicWow this dish was delicious!!! The lemon cakes were lip smackingly good and the foam was light and tart.
