Hong Kong Restaurant Week 2020 Round 2
食過翻尋味，Hong Kong Restaurant Week around 2 又黎返食過生日飯嘅AMMO啦！上次好似冇乜介紹餐廳，位於金鐘，係Pacific Place行上去大概5分鐘左右。個度環境清幽，完全唔似係市中心。日頭黎又係另一番風味，好似係個樹林入面咁，裝修又好grand！
Very much enjoyed my birthday meal at AMMO in early September. So I decided to come back for the Hong Kong Restaurant Week lunch menu. AMMO is located in Hong Kong Asia Society, Admiralty, which is 5 minutes walk from Pacific Place. The environment there is like a wonderland, could never realize it is located in city center. Visiting it at day time would be a completely different story, like having a feast in the woods.
今次Restaurant week lunch menu盛惠$198，再加一。有3道菜，平時要$368加一，而家食真係好抵呀！
Restaurant week lunch menu only costs $198 per head, service charge exclusive. Original lunch costs $368 with 10% service charge. It's a good time to take this good value set.
📌 Antipasti -- Grilled Scamorza Cheese Bruschetta with Arugala 烤斯卡莫扎芝士配意式蕃茄多士和火箭菜
呢道菜既spotlight去曬斯卡莫扎芝士 Scamorza cheese度，第一次食，烤過有啲啲半溶口感，食落煙煙韌韌，好似食緊麻糬咁，好特別。佢嘅芝士味比mozzarella cheese更濃奶香。
The spotlight went to Scamorza cheese Bruschetta. It was my first time to taste this cheese. It had a chewy texture after grilled, tasted a bit like mochi. Love its milky flavour as it is more saturated than Mozzarella cheese.
📌 Secondi -- Roasted scallop Carpaccio Risotto with scallop sauce
Scallop is fresh and handled with delicacy. Portion of scallop is very generous. Love the creamy scallop sauce, very matchy with risotto. Risotto is handled with authenticity.
📌 Dolci- Matcha Tiramisu
賣相就一啲都唔似平時嗰啲tiramisu。有matcha cream and sauce，薄脆片同雜莓粒，但口感都唔似tiramisu，比較似matcha cake with chocolate
Doesn't really look like the usual tiramisu. It contained matcha cream, chocolate crust and mixed berries. Not the texture of tiramisu as I expected. It would be more appropriate if it is name "Matcha cream cake with chocolate crust". Just a bit hard to describe this dish with words.
📌 Dolci - Caramel Honeycomb Affogato 焦糖蜂巢雪糕咖啡
The best of the Day. Caramelized honeycomb, vanilla ice cream and espresso could not be a common type. The nuttiness of espresso and the sweetness of honeycomb creates a special ambience to this dish. Would be a lot better if the portion could be larger.
