周末相約親友在荃灣廣場飲茶,早早致電新斗記訂位,到埗時竟然仍要等位,電話訂位形同虛設。同場尚有潮江春、鴻星可選, 可惜潮江春等位者眾,也就只有鴻星可選了。鴻星分店之間水準參次,而這家是在鴻星的水平之下,也許是主打婚宴的關係吧,難怪週末黃金時段能即時入座。婚宴場地的設計,感覺華麗夢幻,餐具印上柔美的水墨畫,服務亦比一般酒樓細緻。走中價路線的鴻星,星期六正價點心小點由$18起,茶位$10,今時今日也不算離地,前提是質素要價錢成正比才行。海鹽爆腩($105)先上的是兩式廚部小食,海鹽爆腩即是燒腩肉,雖不是爆皮燒肉,但十分薄皮脆身,肉脂相間但不會過膩,價位不低理應有此質素吧!黑松露素鵝($105)煎得微微脆身,腐皮軟綿綿的微帶濕潤,味道確是不錯,但說好了的黑松露完全嚐不出來,如此一來這原味素鵝索價百多元真心不值。椒鹽九肚魚($60)即點即炸熱辣辣的,用上的九肚魚質素不差,炸粉薄身,只嫌蒜粒偏少且不夠脆身。沙薑雞脚(味特.$50)雞腳厚身之餘筋腱爽彈,沙薑咸香點到即止,加上蔥絲薑絲更加香口。蝦餃($42)餃皮算是薄透但包功一般,鮮蝦肉餡彈牙鮮美,味道尚可。燒賣($40)外皮十分乾身,肉餡以蝦肉為主,卻没有吃出豬肉餡的存在感,欠缺燒賣該有的鮮味。懷舊馬拉糕(中點.$23)馬拉糕口感相當鬆軟,但黄糖香不算明顯。煎叉燒包($30)感覺是生煎包的變奏,但配搭明顯格格不入。雖然煎得香口脆身,但內餡的叉燒份量少之餘又瘦又乾,味道一般而已。叉燒腸粉(腸點.$40)叉燒切成丁方大小,餡料胡亂堆疊在腸粉內,一夾即散,叉燒不甚新鮮,感覺非常乾身。棉花糖小白兔(小點.$18)四隻小白兔由大至小像極了一家人,有點像兒時吃過的依華綿花糖,不過口感輕軟得多,也不太甜。面層是我不太愛的椰絲,圖個賣相而已。小蜜蜂($28)很有鴻星卡通點心的神髓,造型比白兔細緻得多,味道卻叫人失望,外層是咸水角一樣的糯米皮,奶皇餡少得幾乎嚐不出來,又是賣相先行。魚湯魚滑浸青蔬($68)白菜不少感覺健康,魚滑即鯪魚肉,魚味不強但難得沒有腥氣,用的高湯沒摻上味精,值得一讚。瑶柱蛋白炒飯($118)飯(炒得乾身無油,亦甚為足料,內有帶子、菜末、馬蹄,鑊氣不俗。也許是婚宴場地的局限,只有小食、炒物合格而已,點心卻較其他分店遜色不少。能在週末即時入座,當中原因是不言而喻了吧。…Read More
