和5個朋友約埋一齊聚會,就揀定這間泰國菜。一早已經book位,七點到,場內已經有唔少客人,一到對完資料即有位,唔使齊人入座。九龍城地處偏僻,預左交通不太方便,店家留左一入門口張大枱比我地,隨便坐,十分闊落,店家服務態度很好,幾個朋友遲到,我兩個人先落座都冇收到異樣眼光,上菜快,收碟好及時,小食拼盤跟一兜香葉,我不明白點配搭,問店家,店家雖然忙都願意答復,中間遇到差人抄牌,店家仲大聲通知食客哈哈。食物方面,除了甜品,樣樣都好食,尤其是炒金邊粉,最令我眼前一亮,金邊粉口感非常好,絕對要一試冬陰功湯都好飲,叫個細份每人一碗小嘗味道,很暖心。最受歡迎要屬生菜包肉碎,好食到未黎得切影相已經清兜,不過分量偏少。甜品要攞出黎批評。特意叫左甜品拼盤,但冇樣好食,樣樣失色,唯一合格就係芒果糯米飯的芒果和紫米,淋上面的椰漿都略失色,連我在泰國機場買的芒果糯米飯都樣樣出色過佢。這間確實煮得好食,但這種好食是出邊(例如旺角)都食得到的程度,需唔需要特意入九龍城食就見仁見智,或者等宋王臺站開左會來得多d(宋王臺站就在呢間鋪隔離街)。…Read More

去開九龍城,決定要食九龍城最出名的泰國菜,餐廳食物選擇眾多,而且價錢可算是抵,我地一行三人眼闊肚窄地叫足8碟餸: 串燒沙嗲($70)、馬拉盞通菜($55)、活蝦剌身($95)、椰汁青咖哩雞($60)、醬爆蝦餅($80)、泰式蝦春卷($60)、泰式炒粉($65)、雜菜炒咸魚($60)。先來的馬拉盞通菜同串燒沙嗲(雞牛豬各兩串)水準都很高,尤其係串燒燒得剛好,肉質嫩滑。接下來的活蝦剌身食得出食材新鮮,但由於沒有冰鋪墊,擔心室溫會變壞所以都急急先清光這一碟。椰汁青咖哩雞係這一餐最大的敗筆,咖哩汁水汪汪得沒有青咖哩味,令人失望。另外其招牌菜醬爆蝦餅果然名不虛傳,蝦餅內的醬汁為蝦膏,味道濃郁,而蝦餅亦十分彈牙,屬必吃之選,反而蝦春卷只能說是不過不失。泰式炒粉起初以為即平日吃的泰式金邊粉,結果用料雖一樣是蛋絲、銀芽、火腿之類,味道卻完全跟廈門炒米一樣! 但平心而論,味道還算是不錯。最後雜菜炒咸魚味道真的是太咸,早知道不會叫這碟菜。總括而言,除了一兩碟中了伏外,其他總算是物超所值,可以再回頭。…Read More

平日星期三晚慣性要出街食飯,因為仲有有兩日先到weekday休息,令人納悶日子。今次約了姐姐食所以選擇了近她的九龍城,黎到呢頭就當然係食泰菜,亦當然地選了這間老字號。無bk枱,黎到好full,但他開了間越南菜館在旁,所以有有位坐,同時可以叫泰菜及越南菜。推介的蝦球,原本覺得80蚊好貴,但上菜見蝦球好大粒,而且即炸,熱辣辣,交落滿滿彈牙蝦肉,中間有蟹黃油滲出,好滋味。本來見到有少許失望,唔係預期的金黃色沾滿炸蒜,但咬落有驚喜,肉質鮮嫩保有水份,好重牛油香。叫了一份細的,份量驚人,有約4隻蟹,炸得剛剛好,保有水份,唔會硬亦不會過咸。每次食泰菜必點的,份量多,味道夠,令人回味點了黃咖哩牛肉另加蒜蓉包,咖哩濃郁椰香味,內用菠蘿粒取代薯仔,菠蘿甜味同咖哩非常相襯,有碗豆,洋蔥,蘿蔔。咖哩多,最後食唔完可以問佢拎個盒帶走。蒜蓉包熱辣辣,蒜蓉同牛油塗得很均勻,從頭到尾都有。雖然等兩大條但中間有切口可以一開三食左咁多野以為起碼400幾,但原來唔使加1,埋單354 only,好鬼抵。知道佢地係 tst都開左分店,嗰邊方便d,下次會去試一試…Read More
