前陣子,朋友要我介紹屯門嘅美食,話難得入嚟屯門有咩係必食嘅。諗咗陣發現原來屯門嘅特色美食真係唔多,好多舊式餐廳都倒閉,商場剩下生存到嘅都係連鎖店...算得上係屯門必食嘅話,應該非小曼谷莫屬食泰國菜大家多數識得去九龍城食,因為九龍城多泰國人聚居。但小曼谷都係十分正統嘅泰菜,由泰國人開同待應都係泰國人,佢地落單同內部溝通都用泰文(雖然都識中文)前排小曼谷因為搬鋪閂咗一排,重開位置移後咗一條街,由前街去後街。鋪面大咗,裝修冇乜分別,木質枱櫈加少許泰式裝飾,風味依然新鋪門前燈光粉紅,有啲奇怪(似不良場所嘅色調),但離遠已經見到。雖然位置冇咁方便,但都不阻人氣,仍然6點幾就開始要排(冇得訂枱),最好都係6:00左右就去到,否則要等一個鐘以上必食:馬拉盞炒通菜,喺泰國叫「飛天通菜」,之前一直以為馬拉盞係源自泰國/馬來西亞,原來係葡萄牙沿海地方有一種叫「Belachan」嘅醬演變而成。通菜幼嫩爽甜,比較多菜葉食落唔會有渣混和大量辣椒、紅蔥頭、蒜頭、蝦米等炒至均勻,香噴噴難怪話會食完想「飛天」必叫二:香燒豬頸肉,雖然聽講豬頸肉多激素,平時都會盡量少食。但小曼谷嘅炭燒豬頸肉真係不可不吃!每片切得均勻條紋一致,炭香味逼人,入囗彈牙有嚼勁另有一小份辣汁另外盛載,非一般咁辣,唔食得辣嘅千祈唔好沾點,唔點汁都已經好好食必食三:豬雞沙嗲串燒,可以嗌半份6串,豬雞各3串。每串計返都唔駛$7,已經份量唔少,性價比高。雞肉比較滑溜,有肉汁流出,而且燒烤味十足另外豬肉爽韌,唔會嚡囗,我就鍾意雞多啲,囗感較滑。沙嗲汁有濃郁嘅花生醬味,香甜得嚟令肉串更惹味個沙嗲汁同豬頸肉都好夾因為肉串已經有豬雞,咖哩就揀咗牛肉。椰汁黃咖哩係唔辣嘅,紅咖哩帶微辣,而青咖哩就最辣帶少少香草味。咖哩汁椰奶味重,十分香濃~熱辣辣好啱用嚟可惜牛肉嚡囗,冇乜牛肉味,薯仔硬身唔入味,頗為失色...下次都係配雞好啲,要強調個汁真係正小曼谷性價比高,4個菜加埋都唔駛$200,每款菜式價錢大約$30-50,如果多人食,簡直可以當放題咁嗌住新界區嘅朋友,唔駛入到九龍城都可以食到正宗泰菜聽朋友講過,小曼谷嘅泰菜係迎合咗香港人囗味,偏向惹味但調味唔重同少辣,難怪覺得好食過喺泰國嘅被譽為「屯門名物」果然名不虛傳!…Read More

平生最怕排隊,每次路過這家屯門人氣泰菜總是提不起興趣。這天晚上竟難得沒有輪候的人龍,如此難得的機會,是時候試試小曼谷的水準了。小曼谷的店面不小,一副街坊食堂的格局,食客眾多的關係,食桌之間不免擠迫,服務也就是茶記水平。不過翻開餐牌,便會發現小曼谷人氣高企的主因:價錢實在是便宜得不可思議!香茅豬扒、雞翼、春卷等小食才不過廿多元。咖哩、海鮮、肉類主菜四十多元起跳.....店內所有菜式都不過一百元,相信是屯門區內無店能及的低價水平。馬拉盞炒通菜($39)以咸蝦醬炒香,汁醬帶細碎蝦米乾,炒得香口帶鑊氣,通菜也算嫩綠不老。香葉炒蜆($60)用的小蜆尚算新鮮,為減省處理時間,先拖水才下鑊兜炒,令一半蜆肉散落鍋底,汁醬也是水汪汪的,不過還是能嚐到金不換的香氣,吃吃邋好。串燒($38)選了雞肉和豬肉串燒,短小的竹簽,比一般的串燒迷你。雞肉尚有肉味也不嚡囗,不過論肉質還是豬肉稍好。蘸吃的沙嗲醬十分稀身,該是成本的考量吧!荷葉包雞($42)是水準最高的一道,以香葉包裹作雞件炸香,雞肉外脆內嫩,香料味濃,還帶點點肉汁,很不錯。泰式炒金邊粉($36)茄汁炒成的金邊粉,幾乎是吃不出魚露的味道,勝在金邊粉煙靭不易斷,配料少得可憐,不過比茶記碟頭飯還更便宜,是果腹之選。能做到如此低價,店方當然有她的「辦法」,這兒的菜式份量偏小,是正常的三分之二水平,連食器也是小巧過人,並不屬「大件夾抵食」之列。雖然如此,這價格能讓客人多點幾款,製造滿桌美食的滿足感,確是暢快!只是論環境、質素、味道並無過人之處,只能作家常的開飯之選。…Read More

週六晚上7pm來到屯門的小曼谷泰國美食,餐廳門前已企滿人候位。我們一行5人拿到54號號碼票,前面還有30多張號碼票,足見其受歡迎程度,我們等了大概一小時,終於可以入座。打開中、英、泰文對照的餐牌,難以置信定價如此低,半打沙嗲串燒才$38、午市海南雞飯才$34。我們一口氣點了許多食物,後來發現份量普遍較少,便加點再加點。份量少正合我意,可以多試幾款不同的菜式。泰式生蝦刺身是menu上沒有的,看見隔桌有點,我們便跟著點,生蝦新鮮,配酸辣的醬汁夠開胃。馬拉盞炒通菜($39)炒得有鑊氣,有別一般的馬拉盞味道,這個應該是加了魚露,甜甜的,微辣。燒豬頸肉($38),外層燒得香,內裡的豬頸肉仍是嫩嫩的,惹味的醬汁是靈魂,把蘸滿醬汁的豬頸肉放進口,油脂滲出來,非常香。泰式炸蝦餅($42)十分十分十分彈牙,炸得香而不油膩,是每枱必點的小食,我喜歡蘸上很多酸甜醬同吃。辣椒香草肉碎炒飯($36)極為香口惹味,炒飯有鑊氣,而且粒粒分明。要注意的是,它的辣度,連平常以辣椒下飯的媽媽都覺得非常辣,但卻有魅力讓我們一口接一口的吃,辣得過癮。以下三款食物則略為遜色:椰汁黃咖哩雞($42,送白飯)富椰香,微辣,很下飯,可惜雞柳不算入味,部分薯仔未稔。半打沙嗲串燒($38),雞牛豬各兩串,串燒燒得過久,肉質有點柴,沙嗲醬也很「稀」,像溝了水似的,欠缺花生味。明爐蒸烏頭($88),在我們糾結烏頭熟了沒有時,魚肉已經變得很老了。是我們沒有拿捏好時間,但調味是不錯的,檸檬、辣椒、香草煮成的湯底,酸辣、開胃。椰青($28)很大顆,滿載清甜的椰青水,我們還刮很多椰青肉來吃。芒果白糯米($14),新鮮芒果,配黏糯的糯米,淋上極濃稠的椰汁,雖然和泰國的還有差距,但在香港來說算是挺不錯了。五個人吃了這麼多東西才$500,真是性價比極高的一餐!…Read More
