今日午飯時間在深水涉,經過喀什米爾咖喱屋,很想吃印度菜, 但因時間不夠,唯有外賣回公司吃。見店外的桌子上有咖喱角、雞脾、肉卷、薄餅等,最後選了咖喱角(羊肉、薯仔)及雞脾。 紅色的去皮雞脾應該是傳統印度Tandoori 烤雞的烹調方法,咬下去雞肉尚算嫰滑,不太乾,印度香料味道不算濃,不太spicy, 我個人覺得味道可以濃噃少少。咖喱角的確挺大隻,很飽肚,外面的脆皮很鬆脆,裏面無論是羊肉或薯仔,饀料都分量十足。羊肉咖喱味道温和,不能吃辣者都應該無問題,但可以spicy一點;薯仔咖喱香料味相對重一點,味道不錯。以8元(薯仔)、10元(羊肉角)和20元 (雞脾)的價錢來,雖然食味未算頂級精彩,但實在是超值的印度小食。…Read More

藍天白雲的週末熱得透不過氣,下班的一刻忽然想食咖喱,環顧荃灣區似乎沒有自己想吃的咖喱店,反而記起曾經到訪的深水埗喀什米爾咖喱屋,一程巴士已將我從荃灣送到深水埗,麗城開發區也有這種方便。著名坤記糕點向前走,在公和豆品店幾個舖位前的喀什米爾咖喱屋,基本不用看招牌也可以找到,只因店前通常有位印度/巴基斯坦叔叔在招徠,同時也有多款印式烤餅展示,無論餅香或煎餅也能吸引路人停下腳步。況且在這熱到爆錶的炎夏也是芒果時令季節,店前多箱巴基斯坦芒果及芒果汁也可讓路人知道這裡是印度食店。沒多裝修的印度小店街坊味道依然,簡簡單單的反更有當地傳統風格,加上店裡空調似有還無,更像本土炎熱天氣;上次有能操流利廣東話的印度叔叔招待,今次更有本地姐姐作侍應,客人們不用害怕要說英文而卻步唷。同枱叔叔的燒雞腿非常吸引,不過我選了另一款薯仔咖喱角作為前菜,兩件薯仔咖喱角比想像中大件,胃口小的話當正餐也可滿足,油炸咖喱角已非剛剛炸起之佳品,放涼後的炸物香脆度大減,如春卷外皮裡是滿滿一團咖喱薯仔蓉,微辣有咖喱香的薯蓉沙沙的,作為前菜其實也相當飽肚。不用多想咖喱羊肉一定是我的選擇,一飯碗滿的咖喱羊肉也有不少羊肉,起碼不是見汁不見肉的比例,連骨頭的羊肉如肉排的大小,幾件中只有一件連著一點羊脂,其他的都是全瘦的羊肉,帶肥那件才是最美味的,羊肉蠻結實但入味,可惜是沒有羊味而已;羊肉雖有骨頭但沒有發現碎骨在咖喱汁裡,啜啜羊骨頭也真夠爽。滿多的咖喱汁稠身,以多種香料煮成的咖喱汁不算很辣,只讓嘴唇微微發燙的刺激度,香香辣辣的很開胃,無論伴飯或烤餅也絕配,以為薯仔角的咖喱夠濃,其實咖喱汁更濃香,難怪見到有客人只外賣咖喱汁了。兩片烤餅剛剛煎好,拿上手真的熱熱熱!圈狀烤餅不會太鬆散,稍稍實在的有點牛油味也有一點麵粉香,不沾咖喱汁來吃也可口。雖說中醫大夫再三叮囑要戒凍飲,只是坐在很有印度天氣的小店裡,真的不想再來杯熱飲了,芒果乳酪仍是不二之選。今次仍舊沒有攪拌器的現打聲音,早已打好的乳酪飲品勉強夠凍,芒果香甜比乳酪為重,用這杯印式飲料解辣極妙的耶。幾位男仕吃也炒飯,長型米飯大大盤的炒得蠻香,看來有機會也應一試;除了巴基斯坦叔叔能說廣東話之外,連在後面廚房負責炒飯的廚師也懂廣東話的,強!…Read More
